Virginia Governor Race is Neck and Neck With Three Weeks to Go

Virginia Governor Race is Neck and Neck With Three Weeks to Go

“has national Democrats on edge as they defend their razor-thin majorities in the House of Representatives and Senate”

The gubernatorial election in Virginia is just three weeks away on November 2, and the race is tight. Democrat Terry McAuliffe, who held the position previously from 2014 to 2018, has a slight edge over Republican newcomer Glenn Youngkin.

The race has attracted a lot of national attention due to the battle over the direction of public schools in Loudoun County.

Terry McAuliffe sparked controversy in September by saying at a debate that he doesn’t think parents should have a say in what schools teach to their children. In August, McAuliffe was under fire for saying that life should be made difficult for the unvaccinated. Youngkin has used these moments to his advantage, presenting himself as the candidate who favors choices for individuals and parents.

Both sides see this as a high-stakes race and it’s as close as can be.

Paul Steinhauser reports at FOX News:

Tight race in Virginia gubernatorial showdown with three weeks until election

Tuesday marks three weeks to go until Election Day in Virginia, and the top-of-the- ticket race remains an extremely close contest in one of just two states to hold gubernatorial elections in the year after a presidential contest.

An average of the latest polls in the race indicates that former Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe – who’s running for his old job – holds a slight, single-digit edge over Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin in a state that President Biden won by 10 points in last year’s election and where Republicans haven’t won a statewide contest in a dozen years.

The Cook Report, a top nonpartisan political handicapper, three weeks ago shifted its ranking of the race from “lean Democratic” to “toss up.”

The margin-of-error race in Virginia – a one-time key battleground but still competitive state which is seen as a key bellwether ahead of the 2022 midterm elections – has national Democrats on edge as they defend their razor-thin majorities in the House of Representatives and Senate in next year’s contests.

“Folks, the Virginia Governor’s race is a big deal not just for the Commonwealth but for our country,” Biden wrote to supporters in a fundraising email. And McAuliffe asked in a fundraising email last week, “Are we blowing this?”

McAuliffe has repeatedly accused Youngkin of not accepting the outcome of the 2020 election, but has been caught refusing to accept the outcome of the 2000 election.

McAuliffe has also been under fire over Critical Race Theory in schools.

McAuliffe must be concerned about his chances because he just announced that Jill Biden, Obama and Stacy Abrams will be campaigning for him in Virginia in the coming days.

Joe Biden will not be campaigning for McAuliffe and I think I know why.

Don’t worry, Mc Auliffe was Barrys bagman for foreign election dollars, I’m sure Barry will show up to pontificate!

HOW IS THIS RACE EVEN CLOSE ? ? ?

He is against parents.

Says CRT is “just a right wing talking point”

Says CRT is not taught in VA schools (playing semantic games / gaslighting.

This guy is not even a good politician — he can even lie right.

He is in the pocket of teachers unions.

He is worse than the guy who’s presently in the office now – and I never thought that would be possible.

Because 50+ year old women without children are the voting block keeping this close.

The race is close because the feather merchants of DC go home to Arlington and other such places each night. They vote.

It is like Los Angeles and the SF Bay Area control California, and Chicago control Illinois.

That’s what is so disturbing. These polls are probably crap, but the Dems need them to be “close” to facilitate cheating. Which they will do. They are already trying to do it in Fairfax, changing the mail in ballot/absentee verification rules literally on the even of the election.

Friends who lived in Virginia Beach for almost 20 years moved south to North Carolina earlier this year. Their opinion is that too much of the state has been occupied by grifters tied to DC – bedroom communities and even people who simple get rich without daily commutes into the district. Some live 60, 80 miles outside. They have overwhelmed the political culture and are almost completely Dem voters because that’s the party that puts honey in their honeypot. They predict the outcome will be closer to CA where final tallies way exceed polling data.

People in CA thought the governor’s recall race would be close, but he won by a 2:1 margin. There is no way the Democrats will allow anyone else to win in VA. Just like CA and pretty much every state, they have enough voters on the rolls to get the needed outcome. The rest is just running the machine that has now been finely tuned and well-oiled.

I thought it was strange during 2020, Virginia was called for Biden when he was behind by almost 20 points (40% to Trump’s 58%). That’s some predictive modeling the media has, to know that even though Biden was getting beaten badly that he would get nearly 100% of the vote after that to pull ahead for a big win!

Fox is predicting a Dem 4 point win. The red counties always report first then Northern Virginia comes in with enough votes for the Dems to win it with enough votes so there is no recount. It’s like they have a formula or algorithm.

McCaullife and the vile Dhimmi-crats are facilitating and are complicit in the sexual assaults, invasions of privacy, voyeuristic antics, and other assorted predatory behavior being visited upon girls and women, by tranny narcissists and sociopaths. End of story. If you support and enable this unisex bathroom nonsense, you are enabling and facilitating the sexual assault of girls and women.

This is my opinion after reading about the arrest of this poor, tormented and frustrated Virginia father whose daughter was sexually assaulted at a local school — to the callous and total indifference of the school Board members. This tranny bathroom lunacy should fairly be a major issue in the gubernatorial race.

This race isn’t close. The democrats are already very busy farming votes and stuffing ballot boxes by any means imaginable. McAuliffe by 8-10%.

I agree this isn’t close because the Dems have taken over this state.

Every time there is an election in this state Dems make it look like GOP has narrowed the gap for a couple of beneficial reasons, fundraising chief among them.

How low IQ do you have to be to support a Clintonista?

If the polls are correct ( a long shot) and it is in deed “neck and neck”, then GOP candidate has no chance of winning. VA in the complete hands of the DNC, which would include its Fraud Machine employed so well in MI, WI, PA, AZ and GA (three times) within the past year. Watch: It will be McAuliffe by 5%, determined after the election.

The Dems are busily creating thousands of bogus votes even as we speak.

We are being played, folks. There is no way any state wide election in VA is going to be won by the GOP. The fix is in.

I live in CA. Charles Manson (D, Dead) wins by ten points. As opposed to the usual 20+.

Who has any belief in the accuracy and honesty of any vote count in any Democrat controlled area? Who has any belief that any Republican will object to any Democrat “victory” in any election no matter how blatantly stolen? That is the irreconcilable difference today.

Be nice if the GOP would really fight this for once. Instead, they just keep spamming me for money.
