Loudoun County Father Accuses School Board of Hiding Daughter’s Alleged Sexual Assault

Loudoun County Father Accuses School Board of Hiding Daughter’s Alleged Sexual Assault

The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted another girl at the high school Loudoun County sent him to.

Loudoun County father Scott Smith “was found guilty of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest” after cops arrested him at a June school board meeting. They sentenced him to 10 days in jail. It is suspended if he has a year of good behavior.

Parents protested a policy that allows transgenders to use facilities based on the way they identify, not their biological sex.

But now Smith says he didn’t get a chance to tell the school board what was really on his mind.

Smith has accused the school board of trying to cover up his daughter’s alleged sexual assault by a transgender in a bathroom in May 2021:

What people did not know is that weeks prior on May 28, Smith says, a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls’ bathroom at nearby Stone Bridge High School, where he sexually assaulted Smith’s ninth-grade daughter.

Juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio, related to an incident that day at that school.

Right before cops arrested Smith, Superintendent Scott Ziegler said “the predator transgender student or person does not exist” and the school board doesn’t “have any record of assaults occurring in our bathrooms.”

It looks like the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office disagrees with Ziegler:

“We can confirm a May 28, 2021 case that involved a thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest,” the sheriff’s office told Fox News. “This case is still pending court proceedings. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is not able to provide any documents that pertain to a pending case.” The sheriff’s office confirmed that the case involved sexual assault.

In response to a public records request by The Daily Wire, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a May 28 report with “Offense: Forcible Sodomy [and] Sexual Battery” at Stone Bridge High School does exist.

The suspect was arrested two months later following an investigation by the sheriff’s office.

Luke Rosiak tweeted that the district sent the boy to another school.

On October 6, the Sheriff’s Office said a 15-year-old boy “faces charges of sexual battery and abduction of a fellow student at Broad Run High School in Ashburn.”

The office said the following day that “the suspect forced a female victim into an empty classroom where he held her against her will and inappropriately touched her.”

A source confirmed the 15-year-old boy is the one who allegedly assaulted Smith’s daughter.

You wonder what drives someone over the edge…

All I want is a level playing field. Let the debate be judged on the merit.

I am still naive at 59….

Call me crazy, but I bet there isn’t a single secondary school in this nation that hasn’t had a bathroom assault.

Sounds like a good lawsuit to me. Milhouse will no doubt explain why not, but someone should be liable.

Ohhh I remember back when we had Rags… Anyway, the law is not the law anymore. Just because it is written down somewhere doesn’t mean dooley squat.. What matters is your political affiliation, and you skin hue. I suggested elsewhere that these alleged trans people use the faculty bathroom… Let the adults deal with this bs.

If motels and shopping malls can be sued for not providing a safe environment, then why not a school?

      JohnSmith100 in reply to MarkS. | October 13, 2021 at 8:46 am

Isn’t this case similar in nature, but not in scope to the Catholic church?

If factories and brokerages can be sued for OSHA violations, then why not a federal government building?
This was a question I personally pursued during my first job.
The answer turned out to be because shut up.

Dathurtz in reply to MarkS. | October 13, 2021 at 11:41 am

Schools are. All the time. A lot of the weird rules schools have are because we get sued anytime anything happens.

My school got sued because a kid jumped on the sink, it broke out of the wall, and the kid fell and broke his leg. Apparently, we didn’t properly supervise the kid in the bathroom.

Probably for the same reason school librarians can distribute child pornography yet if you or I went to a playground and distributed the same book we would be arrested and labeled a sex offender.

    I’m curious about something…
They told the father they would handle it “in house.”
Are the faculty at that school Mandatory Reporters? There’s zero wiggle room if so.
Another term comes to mind: Accessory After the Fact. Does that apply in this case to the Principal?

Along with the new news about Biden’s corruption, the hits just keep on coming.

The counter-culture is gaining momentum.

I don’t think anyone would blame that father if he settled it privately with that young piece of shit. I certainly wouldn’t, but don’t expect justice from the authorities there, they’re a bunch of communist pieces of shit.

MarkS in reply to Ironclaw. | October 13, 2021 at 8:05 am

That “young piece of shit”, is the result of the problem…the school board, with which the father should settle it privately

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Ironclaw. | October 13, 2021 at 8:51 am

Maybe a case of temporary insanity? The Viet Cong had a female operative whose methods should be applied to that rapist.

Subotai Bahadur | October 12, 2021 at 10:57 pm

Of course they covered it up. The assailant is a politically correct supposed transexual. That outranks a presumably heterosexual white[?] female. It is the duty of all the minions of the Left [and teachers are] to protect the politically correct AND to attack any parents claiming they have any role in raising their children.

Subotai Bahadur

    But worse.

If the assailant is a trans – that’s bad. It’s worse if the assailant is a predator taking advantage of the free-reign trans have gotten from the woke mob.

Remember, they told us this couldn’t happen.

So, to protect the feelings of .003% of the population – we have have been forced to put our sons and daughters at risk.

How is that fair ? How is that right ?

And how selfish of the trans-people and their supporters to care so little about the rest of us – the vast majority of us ? Do don’t see people over 6’7″ tall requesting their own bathrooms. Yet there are about the same number of super tall people as trans people. And the very tall could surely use facilities that are a better fit for their needs.

And how stupid is the vast majority to go along with this insanity?

Back in 1991 I commented about a faculty-student sex scandal at my high school that was being covered up to a teacher there and her response was “a teacher would have to rape a student on the [school board] director’s desk in front of the trustees before anything would be done”.

Covering up sexual assaults in high schools has been stock in trade for school boards for decades. Parents need to take back control of the public schools.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to daniel_ream. | October 13, 2021 at 8:55 am

Maybe public schools should be abolished?

“Parents need to take back control of the public schools.”

This is madness. The problem with the government monopoly bureaucratic “public” schools is not what they do. It’s what they are – America’s best example of totalitarian socialism. And you want to “take back control”?

    Get the children out now.

Pass legislation which requires education funding to follow the student rather than going to the government schools.

Make sure that the leftists do not get control of government curriculum requirements.

It’s also OK to prosecute the perpetrators and sue the bureaucracies.

Garland…?
Garland…?
Garland…?

The school board and prosecutor are just evil.

2smartforlibs | October 13, 2021 at 7:35 am

Just because the school board screwed up doesn’t mean that man’s wrong for wanting to be heard.

it was not a “screw up”. it was intentional, when the father wanted to speak, the school board declared the meeting an unlawful assembly and had the cops clear the room

SeiteiSouther in reply to MarkS. | October 13, 2021 at 10:23 am

The school board took a page from the Catholic Church of the 20th Century. Ship the offender off and make it someone else’s problem.

If that was my daughter, that kid would be lucky to walk.

E Howard Hunt | October 13, 2021 at 7:58 am

The father should take a page out of the school district’s book: Convert to Islam, behead his daughter’s rapist, and call it an honor killing.

Ben Kent in reply to E Howard Hunt. | October 13, 2021 at 8:03 am

In that case – he’ll get a metal. And bonus if he has family in Iraq, Syria or Afghanistan – they all get to come to America !

I am not a lawyer so could someone please answer this question? Could the school board, by hiding this act and transferring the alleged rapist to another school where he then reoffended, be held as accessories to the second rape?

Why didn”t he go to the police as soon as he knew??????????
School boards don’t care about individuals, just their agenda,

What’s lost in this discussion? A 15 year old freshman, now a sophomore, was raped in her high school’s bathroom. There was allegedly a cover up accompanied by public denials made by school board administrators.

The health and well being of the young girl are of no interest to the progressives. Instead, the act in ways to retain power and control because the DA has their backs.

Scott Smith is a plumber. Progressives have organized on social media with attacks on his home, his business and his family all because he spoke truth against power. Where is Professor Ford and her army of expensive lawyers? Where is the National Organization of Women? Planned Parenthood lobby? Where are Michelle Obama and the WH’s newly appointed astrologist Kamala Harris defending the two girls?

Why is transgenderism so important to progressives? At less than one tenth of the population, as a political category or voting block what does it buy Democrats? As a sickness, it is destroying our public school system.

henrybowman in reply to Ghostrider. | October 13, 2021 at 9:15 am

They are pressure groups organized and funded to oppress and ultimately destroy the politicl power of “normies.” That’s the sum total of it.

Dathurtz in reply to Ghostrider. | October 13, 2021 at 11:44 am

That’s what progressives do. It is important to remember that they don’t care about the well-being of anybody. They lie about caring, but they don’t care.

“As a sickness, it is destroying our public school system.”

Our government monopoly bureaucratic “public” school system has been corrupt from its beginning.

This county is contiguous with DC. Garland cannot permit any dissent on gender and racial issues, lest it bleed over into the District, so buckle up for a federal indictment of one or more of these parents to chill dissent-it is an extension of shooting a few deserting soldiers to keep the rest of the troops in the battle.

The vile Dhimmi-crats, school administrators, school Boards, et al., are all facilitating and are complicit in, the sexual assaults, invasions of privacy, voyeuristic antics, and other assorted predatory behavior being visited upon girls and women, by tranny narcissists and sociopaths. End of story. If you support and enable this unisex bathroom nonsense, you are enabling and facilitating the sexual assault of girls and women.

Loudoun County is not “contiguous with DC.” In fact it is a good hour’s commute from DC covering Dulles Airport and the land west of that.

I disagree that this is a federal issue. Bathroom regulation and sexual assualts in bothrooms are a state and local law matter. If you don’t like the criminal justice system in your county, elect a new sheriff and a new Commonwealth’s Attorney.

I wonder about parents. What sort of parenting raised a 15 year old who is committing sexual assault in the girl’s bathroom and empty classrooms? What sort of parents indulge their young children to the point of cross-dressing at school? Being a teen is a very confusing time. No teen is in a position to make a life-long decision about his/her sexuality.

henrybowman in reply to lawgrad. | October 13, 2021 at 9:22 am

“I disagree that this is a federal issue.”

    Do you, now?

“According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Xiaoquin Yan, 27, is charged under a statute of law that makes setting fire to any building [here, a local church] ‘used in interstate or foreign commerce or in any activity affecting interstate or foreign commerce’ a federal offense,” The Montgomery Advertiser reported. “According to federal court documents, the church falls under this category for protection because it sends money through reoccurring wire transfers to India to fund local churches that were founded by First Baptist Church.”’

In every breath, you likely take in an air molecule once breathed by Albert Einstein. You certainly take in an air molecule that has crossed a state line. You federal offender, you.

    JRD47 in reply to lawgrad. | October 13, 2021 at 1:59 pm

I stand corrected. I was just looking at the Beltway and the county line and it looked like it was next door. That correction aside, my point is it is so close to the seat of power the AG and the FBI will use the opportunity to “shoot a few” so to speak (not literally) by indicting the parents, perhaps the dad who was arrested to intimidate everyone else from dissent as well as to establish the necessity of Federal intervention. Neither the AG nor the FBI have any concerns about jurisdiction-the mere indictment itself is sufficient to bankrupt a normal person even if ultimately it is dismissed. Again, sorry for the geographical mistake.

If you don’t like the criminal justice system in your county, elect a new sheriff and a new Commonwealth’s Attorney.

lord, what sage advice–and so useful to these young women who were raped–particularly the first one whose assault was covered-up by school authorities and perp was transferred, without apparent consequences, to another campus to re-offend and rape another innocent victim

agree this should be handled quietly by the victims’ families–both of these events are on the school authorities–had they done their jobs properly, upheld the trust of their students/parents, this perp would have been behind bars after the first offense and the second victim would have been spared

if the “authorities” are incapable or indifferent, then it is up to the citizens themselves to protect their loved ones

The school boards have in general been captured by the teacher unions. They don’t want actual oversight of their activity by the taxpayers of the community much less parents who have a more personal stake.

Remote learning brought classroom antics into the view of parents for a year. They are not happy with what they have learned nor will they accept CRT/Equity without a fight. The Trans policies are another problem. When those opposed pointed out the potential for a predator to use access to bathrooms, locker rooms, showers to assault, they were labeled cranks. Now they are proven correct.

Ben Kent in reply to CommoChief. | October 13, 2021 at 10:27 am

Yeah – they told us it could not happen. That we were cranks and overly sensitive. Over-active imagination.

We were the problem. We were just “trans-phobes” for merely questioning policies designed to put our kids at risk for the sake of making .0003% of the population feel better.

In the last 24 months there have been multiple problems with this policy. The Progressives want to hide these problematic events.

Look at the Spa in California with a naked adult man in a shower area for women an girls.

There are many more that do not get reported or never make beyond a minor local news report.

Why should 99.997 % of the population be abused for the sake of 0.003% ?

GAY ORGANIZATIONS PUSH THIS — RISKING BACKLASH

I remember 20+ years ago when people were push back against gay marriage and other gay rights — saying it would be a slippery slope that would lead to preying upon kids. Many of those who pushed back were on religious grounds – but others were just ordinary people.

Gay rights advocates said it was CRAZY – the kids are fine – no one was in favor of pushing sexual issues on kids.

But kids are being targeted with sexual issues. Gay organizations have seen to it that schools teach 6-years about gender dysphoria and Trans.

HRC (Human Rights Campaign) and other Gay organizations did not just declare victory – packup and go home. Like any organization they take on a life all its own. They want money and political power. To get it – they need to justify their existence. So they widen their range of issues and push into schools.

This is far beyond what even Gay people expected and not what many supporters of Gay rights bargained for. They basically are proving the worst fears of their opponents to be TRUE.

THESE ORGANIZATIONS RISK A SERIOUS BACKLASH. AND POSSIBLE REVERSALS ON ADVANCES MADE IN RECENT YEARS.

I believe gay people have rights equal to heteros. But I think the organizations have become monsters of the Progressive left. Morphed into a political agenda – not a civil right mission.

Antifundamentalist | October 13, 2021 at 11:07 am

The schoolboard is full of lying liars trying to hide the facts to get their agenda through at the expense of the people whose interests they are supposed to be protecting. Sounds exactly like what was going on when I worked in the public school system 20 years ago. Girl dragged into the boys bathroom and gang raped. The school improved security as long as the cameras were rolling, and teachers were forbidden to speak to anyone about it, on the record or off. And as soon as the hubbub died down, it was back to business as usual.
