Alleged ‘Sex Competition’ at St. John’s University Causes Outrage on Campus

“We will not tolerate sexual misconduct in any form”

Male students were allegedly competing with each other over who could have more sexual encounters with female students. I have a feeling this is more common than people think.

The Star Tribune reports:

Alleged sex competition by St. John’s University students sparks investigation, protest

An alleged sex competition started by male students at St. John’s University in the central Minnesota town of Collegeville is being investigated by administrators and condemned by female students from the private institution’s sister school, the College of St. Benedict.

The Record, which serves as the student newspaper for the two Roman Catholic partner colleges, first reported the allegations that students living in a dorm at St. John’s, which is an all-male university, competed to see who could have the most sexual encounters with women attending St. Benedict.

According to the campus newspaper, the St. John’s students made a list with the names of certain St. Benedict students and assigned point values for different actions. Details of the list are unclear.

Katie Alvino, a spokeswoman for the colleges, said administrators learned of the allegations in late September and have been “actively investigating” ever since.

“We will not tolerate sexual misconduct in any form,” Alvino said in a statement Thursday. “We are utilizing trained, impartial, third-party investigators to determine the responsible parties. We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment in which all members of the community respect the rights and human dignity of all.”

The keyword here, being alleged.

It’s all the fault of the TV show “Law & Order”. Back in 1995 they did an episode featuring a group of high school boys called the “Mack Rangers” who had a competition of amassing points for bedding female classmates. Clearly, anyone doing something similar nowadays has a defense in that watching that TV show led them to involuntarily emulate the demonstrated behavior.

Excuse me. It is not a sex competition. They are simply sharing COVID immunity.

The contest has been going on for over 60 years; that I can attest to.
And, back when I was in college (ivy, but no names), the girls would hold similar contests: how many guys in a month!
Puleez…

Mine too. But that was women so it was OK. This is men. But I’m not sure what the misconduct is. They just don’t like something sexual that happened, so punish some boys.

We’re talking about adults that are mature enough to leave home and attend a university? I don’t recall any claims of rape…. Then what business is it of the university?

and if there is a claim of rape, that too should not be a matter for the university, but for the police. If someone is convicted of rape, then the university might take action.

    That should be all.

I have to agree. Is there some allegation of illegal activity? Any allegation of misconduct or violation of the school’s code of conduct or anything else that could result in disciplinary action? If not, what is being “investigated” and why?

His body, his choice.
Her body, her choice.
Any questions?

How is this misconduct?

Beat me to it……Is Spring Break now sexual misconduct too?

Tonight on MTV’s Spring Break we stop in on the guys from ASU having a big drunken sex bash at their beach house as Dan, Flash, Ace, Carson, and …….their “roommate” (aka college watchdog supervisor) Colin* all try to see who can get laid the most.

*Colin is a 40 year old equity and inclusion advocate at the university who tells the guys he just wants a vacation to hang back on Spring break and take it all in….nothing suspicious at all about that, bring him along!

According to the new “Joyless Sex” released by the woke mobs, men (or whatever) must first seek, receive, and video consent from the woman (or whatever) at every stage of the seduction process. Can I kiss you on the cheek? What about the lips? Can I put my hand [insert desired location, repeat often]? Can I kiss you again on the lips? Can I touch your left breast (upstairs outside)? What about upstairs inside? Can I . . . oh, who even cares at this point?

Wait, you don’t want to do that? Now I feel really unsafe and unvalidated and violated that you exist and breathe air in my general direction. Your presence is violence, especially when you don’t find me attractive even though I am clearly a non-binary blah blah blah. If you don’t offer me automated, every “intimate” move pre-approved and duly-recorded foreplay, you are a transphobe, homophobe Nazi. And stuff.

Only the humorless, joyless, soulless regressive left can manage to make sex completely tedious and off-putting. As they do everything else.
