Experts: COVID-19 Will Resemble Common Cold by Spring 2022

Legal Insurrection was among the first to inform our readers of the COVID outbreak in China on January 10, 2020.
Less than two months later, I reported that Chinese researchers linked the coronavirus outbreak to laboratory research activities in Wuhan, China. Despite the initial media-led push-back on a lab origin for the coronavirus, officials are now agreeing that lab origin is both possible and probable.
Most recently, I concluded that based on the history of the last global coronavirus pandemic of 1889, SARS-CoV-2 (the virus causing the current COVID-19 pandemic) would eventually morph into one of the many viruses in the common cold family.
Now there is more proof that Legal Insurrection has been ahead of the coronavirus pandemic news. Professor Sir John Bell, regius professor of medicine at Oxford University, recently said the virus could resemble the common cold by spring next year as vaccines and exposure boost a person’s immunity to the virus.
He added the country “is over the worst” and things “should be fine” once winter has passed, adding that there was continued exposure to the virus even in people who are vaccinated.
Meanwhile, Moderna’s chief executive Stéphane Bancel also said on Monday that the coronavirus pandemic could be over in a year as increased vaccine production ensures global supplies.
Additionally, Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert, the creator of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, asserts that COVID-19 is unlikely to mutate into a deadlier variant and will eventually end up as a common cold.
Cutting down fears of a more deadly new variant, she said that viruses tend to “become less virulent as they circulate” through the population, Daily Mail reported.
“There is no reason to think we will have a more virulent version of SARS-CoV-2”, as “there aren’t very many places for the virus to go to have something that will evade immunity but still be a really infectious virus”, Gilbert was quoted as saying.
…SARS-CoV-2 will eventually become like the coronaviruses which circulate widely and cause the common cold, Gilbert said.
“We already live with four different human coronaviruses that we don’t really ever think about very much and eventually SARS-CoV-2 will become one of those,” said Gilbert, while speaking at a seminar of the Royal Society of Medicine
While this is good news, it must be tempered by the reality that public health officials are now used to both the limelight and copious funding.
On Wednesday, she told the audience that she is “waiting” for funding to look into vaccines for other infectious diseases.
Work must be done to prepare for future pandemics, she warned, adding that small amounts of investment now could potentially save billions of pounds in the long run.
[Dame Sarah Gilbert] agreed that the lack of investment from governments and other research funding sources shows they have not learned lessons about the importance of pandemic preparedness.
“We’re still trying to raise funds to develop other vaccines that we were working on before the pandemic against diseases that have caused outbreaks in the past and will cause outbreaks in the future – Nipah virus, lassa fever virus and Mers coronavirus were three that I’m working on and still trying to raise funds to work on.”
I believe that we would benefit from more focus on treatments for COVID19, as well as more controls on where the National Institute of Health decides to fund studies…especially those involving gain-of-function research.

It’s a bit more refined than that. Those dying and hospitalized are the frail elderly, immune compromised and the obese. Vax status is certainly mitigating severe outcomes. However, the numbers of fully vax in the hospital is ranging between 25% and 35%. These population subsets are more at risk.
The at risk population, lets call them unhealthy, are never going to have the same outcome as the healthy population regardless of vax status. Finally you ignored natural immunity in your statement which has been proven in multiple studies to confer stronger, broader and longer lasting immunity than the vax.
Vax is a personal medical decision. IMO, those who are obese, immune compromised or frail elderly should be encouraged to take the particular vax that will have the least side effects in their situation. For the otherwise healthy population the vax is less necessary. Each person should research, study, ask questions and consult with their physician to determine whether a vax makes sense for their situation. No one should be compelled.
More unanswered questions…
How many have died from the vaccines? How many have had severe side effects? What are the severe side effects?
Why don’t we know this? Why is “our” government both suppressing this information and the gathering of the data?
Why is “our” government suppressing medications — doctors and pharmacies are not permitted to prescribe or dispense — that are widely used in much of the rest of the world — specifically HCQ and Ivermectin? Why is “our” government so heavy handedly intervening in the doctor/patient relationship?
Why are the stats comparing the relative risks associated with the flu and Covid being ignored and/or suppressed?
Why is the data from Sweden ignored?
And so on and so forth.
All of these questions are easily answered if one assumes this has little or nothing to do with Covid and a lot to do with conditioning us to get accustomed to the massive expansion of federal government power and control over our lives. Conditioning us to obey and not question.
Not to mention the rigging and fixing of elections.
Get ready for climate change emergency energy use restrictions. Get ready for ‘national gun violence emergency’ measures. Etc., etc. Because Big Brother cares about you!

That one is easy – the three “vaccines” are only available under Emergency Use Authorizations (EUA), because they haven’t been approved by the FDA as vaccines. By statute and regulation, they can’t issue EUAs if there are effective alternatives. Hence the requirement to denigrate the efficacy of HCQ and Ivermectin.

You forgot to add that those taking the vaccine (willingly or unwillingly) have now become the leading rank in cases and hospitalizations. The world is experiencing the greatest marketing con job in history. Bio-facism is the new crisis of the decade to keep us in chaos and fear. And it is funny how many do not recognize that the clowns that have brought humanity so much pain and suffering in the past are the same ones performing in this circus.

The Biden Administration is pushing a regimen that damages the population permanently in the name of battling an illness that threatens us only temporarily.
The US considers a person with only one of two jabs, or for whom fewer than 15 days have transpired since the last jab for full immunization, to be “unvaccinated.” So if you are using CDC-generated statistics to say that the “unvaccinated” are in hospital for COVID, you’re actually talking about an unknown number of people who are partially or fully vaccinated who do not yet qualify as “vaccinated” according to the CDC. (This is in addition to the “vaccinated” COVID patients who have had all their shots, and completed them more than 14 days before their admission to hospital.)
Also, prior to the introduction of the vaccines, all COVID patients were “unvaccinated.” Does it surprise you to learn that the unvaccinated continue to contract SARS-CoV-2 and become ill with COVID-19? What should be surprising is the number of vaccinated persons who are ending up in hospital, people who shouldn’t be there if the vaccines worked properly. And seeing that the spike protein alone is enough to cause most COVID symptoms (and for a person to test positive for exposure to the virus), there is a growing suspicion that among the vaccinated we are not seeing “breakthrough infections,” but rather we’re seeing illness and death caused by the vaccines. Evidence is accumulating that 1.) far more people have been killed by the vaccines than is currently believed; and 2.) that many people who are now considered “COVID deaths” are actually victims of the vaccines.
Yet, without having any of this sorted out, the vaccines are still called “safe and effective.” Vaccination programs (e.g., Swine flu in 1976-77) and experiments have been halted for far less than what is already known to be happening with the COVID vaccines. There is even some question if the vaccines are killing more people then they’re saving, or if COVID itself is responsible for increases expected deaths, to say nothing of the cost (in life years) of the NPIs taken against the disease.
Those are just the people dying right now. I bet tens of thousands die in the next 5 years from vaccine-induced heart inflammation. The 5 year survival rate is only 1/3. I’m also betting a bunch of the elderly are dying right now of heart issues brought on by the vaccines, but aren’t being recorded as vaccine-induced because the elderly are expected to die of heart problems. Given that they are more robust it is ridiculous to believe that the vaccines primarily cause heart problems in the young: it is only because they’re young that anybody is looking for these problems. If a 50 year old guy gets myocarditis nobody is asking him if he got a covid shot.

Vax or not, the under 60 and “fit” death toll rivals lawn mower deaths / year. Just like before there was a vaccine.
If you’re at risk, the vax doesn’t make it worse, arguably the survival rate is higher among the vaccinated.
Meanwhile, China and clowns like Fauci and Daszak have suffered zero consequences for their tinkering with viruses.

Actually, this may not come to pass due to the misguided max “vaccination” policies being pursued by many nations. Because this “vaccine” does not stop infection, or transmission, but only the severest consequences of infection, their is no forcing function for mutation to a less transmissible or lethal variant. Less lethal variants will from the unvaccinated who become infected and survive the disease.
The “vaccinated” are just as likely to produce, become incubators in effect, more virulent AND deadly pathogens. With this “vaccine,” it is the vaccinated that are putting the rest of us at risk. The vaccinated are forcing via natural selection mutation away from “vaccine” efficiency while not placing natural selection pressure to create a virus with either lower transmissibility or lower lethality. In fact, variants with higher lethality may emerge as a result.
This “vaccine” is appropriate for administration to high risk populations (65 and older plus people with certain comorbidities). This strategy would allow the human immune system for people not at risk of serious disease to work on the virus to force natural selection for less lethality. If this were allowed, then, yes, perhaps by next year this virus would be nothing much more than a common cold in effect.
The unvaccinated who are being stigmatized and discriminated against are doing us a favor. The current “vaccine” strategy of max vaccination, and coming soon – boosters, even to people who do not need it because they are low risk or post infection, is likely to prolong the severity of the pandemic and could potentially make it worse.
I do not understand why this is not plainly obvious to intelligent people. They teach these concepts of natural selection in 9th grade, perhaps earlier, or used to at any rate.

Getting on the mRNA “vaccine” train, and discounting natural immunity, could become and endless trip. Where each ‘booster’ shot increases the need for the next ‘booster’ shot because the body has become completely dependent on the shots instead of developing natural immunity.
Given we do not even know the full extent of immediate side effects much less the long term side effects this is frightening.
On the bright side, Big Pharma will make lots of money and become a much bigger player in our new Big Brother form of radical leftwing fascist government.
Every booster makes the road to ADE and autoimmune disease shorter. Those problems were never solved in animal trials, why should I believe Pfizer and Moderna solved them in humans?

It’s too “convenient” that all this happened when it did, and Fauci’s fingerprints (along with the CDC) are all over this.
The normal forcing function pushes viruses to be more transmissible, but less deadly. And, that, indeed, is what we saw with the Delta variant, which is roughly twice as transmissible, but probably less lethal. As a result, it essentially pushed out all the other variants through the month of July in this country.

People still get the once extremely deadly Bird Flu and the Swine Flu but there are no daily updates on the death tolls for those. No specific vaccines were ever developed because the press refused to hold Obama to the wall while thousands of babies were dying on his watch.

Any virus that spreads presymptomatically through high viral loads should become more contagious and virulent with time, until the natural limit of the viral load is reached. Delta is very unlikely to be the last variant of significance. Nature can do better.
I have not heard Lassa Fever mentioned in many years, a good book on its history is “Fever” byJohn Fuller, a lightly fictionalize account of the first known outbreak in Nigeria. Lassa is a viral hemorrhagic fever similar to Ebola. You do not ever want to get a hemorrhagic fever. Fatality rate was 80% for the early infections, dropping a little bit as the outbreak spread.
