L.A. Police Arrest Violent Antifa Rioters Outside Koreatown Spa
Antifa threw smoke bombs and objects at the police, who found discarded stun guns, knives, and pepper spray
The Los Angeles Police arrested dozens of violent Antifa rioters in front of a Koreatown spa after someone complained about a transgender woman allegedly disrobing in the female area.
The woman made the complaint on Instagram on June 24. It went viral and caught the attention of the far-left.
“Wi Spa allows a man into women’s wet spa section where all the women are naked, mothers with there [sic] young daughters and teens,” the lady wrote. “The Wi Spa allowed the man access just because he calls himself a woman. This man was naked exploding [sic] his testicles and penis slinging left to right in front of young girls, teens and grown women. What is our world coming to[.]”
The spa said it follows California’s anti-discrimination laws, but does not tolerate “lewd conduct“:
“As a spa located in Los Angeles, Wi Spa complies with California law prohibiting discrimination by a business, including the Civil Code provision set forth above,” the spa said in a statement. “Like many other metropolitan areas, Los Angeles contains a transgender population, some of whom enjoy visiting a spa. Wi Spa strives to meet the needs and safety of all of its customers, and does not tolerate harassment or lewd conduct by any customer, regardless of their sex, gender, or other characteristic.”
The first round of protests happened on July 3. The Youth Liberation Front’s southwest chapter decided to go for round two:
A flyer posted online by the southwest chapter of the Youth Liberation Front, which was described by the Seattle Times as “a persistent militant voice,” encouraged followers to gather at Wi Spa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday to “SMASH TRANSPHOBIA” and “SMASH FASCISM.”
“ROUND TWO MOTHER F******,” the group tweeted.
The first round of protests occurred on July 3, when rampant fighting broke out between protesters and counter-protesters outside the spa.
Female protesters showed up, demanding a woman-only space. Then Antifa showed up again.

They way to deal with this in a way that meets the letter of the antidiscrimination laws and still protects biological women is to do away with male/female designations for locker rooms, bathrooms and the like. Just refer to the genitals owned by the persons access the space. We respect your gender identity as required by CA law. for the comfort of the majority of our patrons, we have made our locker rooms gender identity neutral. This locker room is open to persons with vaginas, and that locker room is open to persons with penises. There is a third, single person changing area if you are uncomfortable with this arrangement.
I didn’t know federal law still permitted one to own one’s own genitals. I thought the notion that privates property had been emasculated and debunked. Systemic genitalism has wreaked enough havoc in this country.
The terms “male” and “female” are surely well understood by biologists, and not ambiguous when referring to any sexual species other than humans. If “men” and “women” (or “boys” and “girls” in schools, and other venues where the users are likely to be young) is somehow ambiguous these straightforward words denoting a person’s sex should not be.
I have to admit that I barely noticed when the word “gender” began to replace the word “sex” when identifying oneself on standard forms; at the time I thought it just a strange form of prudery, as if there were something somehow pornographic in pointing out that we are not only embodied but sexed.
Yet the largest medical-services organization in this area went from asking for one’s “sex” to asking for one’s “gender” and now asks only for one’s “gender assigned at birth.” One can only hope the physicians and other medical professionals who work for it have retained their sanity.
Just so you know, when “queer studies” activists posing as professors talk about (and teach) queering education, they mean teaching that biology itself doesn’t exist. That genitals don’t exist per se; they’re just a social construct.
The left isn’t just out to destroy history. Math, English, and biology are all on the chopping block. Next it’s going to be anthropology. Ever notice those evil “transphobic” anthropologists are always assigning “gender” along with age to human remains?
This is of course insane. And as far as I’m concerned proves that just because leftist psychiatrists/psychologists don’t call gender identity disorder a disorder anymore, that doesn’t mean it isn’t. As recently as 2017 textbooks on psychiatric nursing did indeed consider it a disorder, closely related to species identity disorder, body integrity disorder, and addiction. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can if sufficiently severe and frequent enough causes traumatized children to no longer want to be who they were born as. They have poor coping skills, and the disorder causes them to have problems with all their relationships and have trouble keeping employed. In fact there is a high rate of drug/alcohol abuse among people with the various identity disorders; that’s a dysfunctional way of trying to cope. And it is precisely because people with gender identity disorder have poor coping skills that they have such a high rate of suicide. The very notion that I, someone they never meet, need to “affirm” and even “celebrate” their lifestyles or I have to engage in compelled speech is proof positive they can’t cope with reality.
As I said on another thread, leftists always lie except when they think they’re among friends. Fellow activists. They don’t care about what they claim to care about. I’m sure they are thrilled that people with gender identity disorder have such a high suicide rate. That way they can make endless demands on what normal people can say, think, and feel. Not to mention what I can eat, what I can drive, and even if I can travel at all.
And given that various international visual icons/symbols have been created to assist international travelers (i.e., to replace/augment “men” and “women”) perhaps we could add a double-helix + XX or XY symbol (with the third option being for aneuploids — which means, more or less, chromosomally “other”).

I wonder if that is still allowed… Other anecdotes: A unisex (omnigender?) public bathroom on the beach in San Diego had toilet seats that were engineered to stay in the “up” position when not in use: brilliant, really.
One time I was finishing up in a busy men’s room when, apparently sick of the huuuuge line for the women’s room, in marched an angry young woman looking for a stall. I’d never in my life seen men “in the process” so quickly hug a urinal! Whereas a man entering a women’s room might expect angry rebukes, in this case the men were stunned into silence…

That’s very nice, but I see no indication that this customer was engaged in any sort of lewd behavior or harassment. As far as anyone can tell from any of the reporting on this story, all he did was use the locker room as any normal customer does, including the women who complained.
The women’s objection was not to his conduct but to the mere presence of his anatomy in their changing room, where they had to look at it, and where he could see their anatomy. That is why we have segregated changing rooms in the first place, and allowing people of the opposite sex into them just because they say they’re of the appropriate sex (whether they’re faking or they sincerely believe it is irrelevant) defeats the whole purpose. Women do not want to see penises in their changing room, or to have people with penises looking at them naked; surely this is not a difficult concept.
So not difficult we needed MENSA man to explain the obvious in two long paragraphs. (Still haven’t “dropped dead” as per your wishes by the way.)

No, it is not lewd behavior. It is completely normal to be naked in a changing room. That is what it’s for. The women are naked there too, and thus showing their anatomy to any little boys who may be there. The point is that this man shouldn’t have been there.
For all we know he behaved completely appropriately, and had he been in the men’s locker room nobody would have objected. Nor would anyone have objected if he were an actual woman. The problem was not his behavior but the location, and only the location.

No, it isn’t, by definition. The spa says he has the right to use the women’s changing room (and that is indeed the law), but it won’t tolerate lewd behavior while there. But you’ve just admitted there was nothing wrong with his behavior in that room. The only problem was that he shouldn’t have been there, and the law says the spa has to allow him there.
WeSpa is a Korean Spa, that has separate Female and Male areas.
It’s basically an indoor nude beach that has several different types of rooms in each area. There is a salt room, a sauna room, clay room, and a room with hot tubs.

If you listen to the video, the male entered a hot tub nude with two females. He was asked to cover up, and did not. There was children present. It appears it was a deliberate provocation, to cause an incident.
And WeSpa is claiming due to anti discrimination legislation at the LA City level, and state level, their hands are tied.

Other accounts (not presented here) make clear that the man was making rude comments to the women and was displaying his genitals in a gratuitous way (in a way that one generally doesn’t do even if naked in a spa, man or woman). That is not he behavior of a ‘normal customer’.
The women had every right to be upset, and yes, that includes being upset by his naked anatomy.
The issue is whether society will into the idea that a man can be a woman if he identifies as such. I say forthrightly that such a thing is nonsense. I haven’t traveled “abroad” for a long time, but I seem to recall that unisex bath houses/spas were common in some parts of Europe and Asia and nobody got upset about them. The attitude was pretty much “if you don’t like it, don’t go”. Still should work.

1. The spa is not advertised as ‘unisex’. I believe its a spa with segregated areas for women and men. If it was advertised as a unisex spa then people would know what to expect.
2. At issue is the right to protest… Antifa evidently thinks people who disagree do not have a right to protest and they are willing to resort to violence to suppress and silence people who disagree with them.
3. In one of few times in recent memory cops in a major west coast city met Antifa violence with overwhelming violence. Someone let them take their gloves off.
And if you know that ahead of time, no problem. If you have a membership with a spa that has separate facilities for men and women, it’s designed that way to allow genetic men and women their own separate space. It’s about anatomy, not feels.

Sorry to be slow, but there’s something in this story I’m unclear about. Why exactly was Antifa rioting? Do they believe they have some sort of right to violently suppress speech they disagree with? They think female customers of spas, gyms, etc. should be punished for complaining about men intruding in their space? That seems kinda anti-woman to me, especially considering that some of the women may be survivors of sexual assault.
Do they really need a reason anymore? Why were they trying to burn down the Federal courthouse in Portland??
