Hampton Dellinger, Biden’s nominee for the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy, worked with Hunter Biden at a law firm that represented the Ukrainian energy company Burisma. Do you think that’s a coincidence?

During Trump’s presidency, Democrats and the media constantly warned that Trump would use the White House to enrich his family and friends. Now the same people act as Biden’s defenders.

Chuck Ross reports at the Washington Free Beacon:

DOJ Nominee Worked with Hunter Biden at Law Firm Tied To Ukrainian Energy Giant

Joe Biden’s nominee for a top Justice Department position worked alongside Hunter Biden at a prominent law firm that represented Ukrainian energy giant Burisma Holdings, emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop show.

Hampton Dellinger, who President Biden nominated on Friday to lead the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy, worked on the Crisis Management and Government Response team at Boies Schiller Flexner, an international law firm where Biden served as counsel. Emails from Biden’s laptop show he worked closely with lawyers on Boies Schiller Flexner’s crisis management team. He referred Burisma Holdings to the crisis unit as a client in April 2014. Biden’s laptop emails also indicate he attended a private dinner party with Dellinger and several other Boies Schiller Flexner lawyers in March 2014.

The link could pose a potential conflict of interest as the Justice Department is investigating Hunter Biden over his tax affairs and foreign business dealings. Federal prosecutors are also reportedly investigating whether a Democratic consulting firm that worked closely with Biden illegally lobbied for Burisma.

Compare that to this Reuters report by Caroline Spiezio. See if you can spot the difference:

Biden taps ex-Boies partner to lead DOJ policy office

U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday tapped former Boies Schiller Flexner partner Hampton Dellinger to lead the Justice Department’s policy office, which advises on nominations for federal judgeships.

Dellinger, who if confirmed would become assistant attorney general for the Office of Legal Policy, has worked in government before. He served as deputy attorney general in the North Carolina Department of Justice and as chief legal counsel in the North Carolina governor’s office, where he oversaw the judicial appointment process.

“I’m honored to be nominated, and I recognize the important work OLP does on judicial nominations as well as the range of legal policy issues facing the Justice Department,” Dellinger said in an email.

There’s not a single mention of Hunter Biden in the entire Reuters article. Weird, huh?

Have fun imagining how the media would treat this story if it were about Donald Trump Jr.

the incestuousness of these people is mind-boggling.

Based on the North Carolina affiliations, it seems that Hampton is the offspring or other relative of Walter Dellinger, a respected lawyer who has been a warhorse for the Democrats for many years, especially under Clinton as I recall. More nepotism and cronyism. Comments invited from those in the know.

Lot of Dellingers in NC around Concord. Old moonshining family, at least the ones I know!

His association with Hunter leaves little doubt about his nature.

This is so.stupid – hillary clinton being out of jail is a great insult; this clown walking free in the facenof clinton’s crimes is the final slap in the face of anyone would still might be sleeping politically.

BIDEN WILL EVETUALLY PARDON HUNTER

He will because:
(1) Any parent would use power they have to save their kid – no matter how guilty (it’s just rare for a parent to legally have plenary power to pardon)
(2) Biden wants to save his legacy and protect the DNC. Both of which are at risk while Hunter’s fate is unknown.
(3) Hunter must be begging Daddy for a pardon every day because he knows he is at great risk without it. He know Kamala does not give a shit about him and is unlikely to pardon him.

Some say Biden will not Pardon Hunter because it will tarnish Biden’s legacy and Biden can just bury it in the Justice Dept that he controls. That’s a bunch of BS because:
(1) Biden is never going to run for office again – so he has nothing to lose and never ever has to defend his use of the pardon power
(2) Biden will frame it as being in the interest of UNITY. He will say his son was a victim of Trump AND he will pardon a few conservatives as well to make it seem a non-partisan “bury the hatchet” type of move. It’s all just propaganda – but the media will sell it for him and make it seem like a great move – even though it will be the most corrupt pardon in US history.
(3) Biden will not control the DOJ forever. Best Biden can do is a delaying tactic. If Republicans take over Congress in 2022 – Hunter will not be able to hide. DNC and all downstream Dem candidates will have to hear from constituents about Hunter. Hunter is the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans. Only way to end it is a pardon that is dressed up as described above.

When I read headlines like this now, I just sigh heavily and think, “Does it even matter anymore?” No one is going to do anything about any of this. The Left will keep surging brutally forward, the weak, corrupt Republicans will tuck tail and give belly like the beaten curs they are and we, the American people who are angry and frustrated and frightened, will post on sites like this in an attempt to feel better, but we won’t actually do anything. And really, at this point, the only two options left seem to be secession or civil war. Or both.

“the Justice Department is investigating Hunter Biden”

Does anybody believe this lie? If they are “investigating”, it’s for the purpose of gathering and locking up (perhaps even destroying) the evidence so nobody can see it.
