Woman Attacks Asian Woman With Hammer in NYC Over a Mask
The victim: ‘Take off your f***ing mask,’ which is shocking. Suddenly I felt my head get hit by something.”
Manhattan police have begun a manhunt for a woman who attacked an Asian woman with a hammer in Times Square on Sunday.
The attacker told the Asian woman to remove her mask. From The New York Post:
The attack unfolded around 8:40 p.m. when the black suspect snapped at her 31-year-old victim, “Take off your mask!” in front of 411 W. 42nd St., cops said Monday.
The attacker swung a hammer at the victim, hitting her on the left side of the face, according to police.
Cops recovered the hammer, but the attacker is still in the wind. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime, authorities said.
The injured woman, who has an address listed in California, was treated at NYU Langone Hospital, cops said.

ABC7NY reported Theresa, the victim, said “her physical pain doesn’t compare to her psychological scars.” The outlet described her as “shaken up and traumatized and in total shock.” There’s more:
“She was talking to herself, like talking to a wall, I thought maybe she was drunk or something, so we just wanted to pass through her quickly and when I passed through her, she saw us and said ‘Take off your f***ing mask,’ which is shocking,” Theresa said. “Suddenly I felt my head get hit by something.”
She was rushed to the hospital and was said to be stable. She suffered a gash in her forehead — a deep wound on the left side of her head — and needed seven stitches.
Theresa came to New York in 2019 for her masters [sic] at FIT [Fashion Institute of Technology].
Theresa said she stayed with her parents in Taiwan during COVID. She came to New York in April to look for a job even though her parents worried about the Asian attacks in America.
ABC7NY identified the suspect as 5’9″ and wearing all black. It’s weird how the network did not mention her race. The suspect is a black woman. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since we have video and can see for ourselves.
But alas it is pathetic the focus on Asian hate crimes has gone down once people realized a lot of the attacks did not have white perpetrators. Yes, white people have attacked Asians, but don’t be stupid.
If you want to concentrate on the race of the attackers then let’s do it. The majority of the violence I have seen involved black attackers.
But because people have become sensitive lately these hate crimes have fallen under the radar. I don’t know about you, but all hate crimes tolerate me no matter the victim or attacker. They’re all awful and should not be tolerated.

No such thing as “Manhattan police.” There is the NYPD, responsible for all five boroughs.
However, do not try to get somebody who is a member of the NYPD and is stationed in Brooklyn to attempt to respond to something that is happening in Manhattan.

Let me refer you to David Codrea’s favorite case, that of ex-felon Marky-Mark Walhberg, the Hollywood star, who misspent his youth as a coke-powered street thug in Boston; at his zenith attacking two Vietnamese men with a stick, permanently blinding one in one eye, while calling the other one “Vietnam f*g s*t” and knocking him cold. He was sentenced to two years (a felony) but served only 45 days.
Side note: because of the sentence, he is what is known as a “disabled” (disqualified) person for gun ownership, a status which he has almost surely violated on the sets of his numerous Hollywood shoot-em-up films. Since Wahlberg is a member of the Big Club That You Ain’t In, the BATF turns a blind eye to his potential violations, despite citizen complaints.

If the race of the victim is pertinent, so is that of the attacker. This goes as well for the “woman” who attacked a
stewardesscabin attendant for failure to pick up her trash in what she deemed a timely manner. Twice. She was subdued and handcuffed by an off duty policeman. She was hauled off to jail upon landing.She worked a bail deal and is out. Her race wasn’t listed, either, but the pictures clearly showed what wasn’t said in the news story.

“Take off your mask” is such a strange demand I can’t help but wonder if the attacker actually said something more racially charged. The initial attack was from behind, can she even see the mask at that point?
Yup. “Take off your mask” coupled with a classic Nordic hammer-attack — why, you’d expect to see a skinhead with a MAGA cap.
