On Thursday afternoon, Patrisse Cullors, the co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement, resigned from her position of Executive Director of the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) after six years. Cullors has faced intense scrutiny over the past several months for her fiscal management of the organization, as well as her prominent property buying sprees.

The Daily Mail reports:

[Cullors] insists her resignation has been in the works for more than a year and has nothing to do with the personal attacks she has faced.

‘Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks about me,’ Cullors told the Associated Press.

Last month, she described the criticism as ‘racist and sexist’ smears deliberately put out by the ‘right-wing media’.

BLMGNF put out a statement with a positive spin on the development:

“With smart, experienced and committed people supporting the organization during this transition, I know that BLMGNF is in good hands,” said Cullors. “The foundation’s agenda remains the same — eradicate white supremacy and build life-affirming institutions. Between the two Senior Executives and BLM Grassroots Co-Director Melina Abdullah, who is an original member of BLM and co-founder of its first chapter in Los Angeles, their immense talent will build a future where Black lives do more than matter — they will truly thrive.”

The two Senior Executives will lead BLMGNF until the organization finds a new permanent team. In the interim, BLMGNF remains committed to combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy through arts and culture.

However, recent controversies may have had more to do with the organizational reshuffling. Cullors, who famously referred to herself as a trained Marxist, has come under fire in 2021 over reports of her fiscal mismanagement of BLMGNF, including using her paid position as executive director to hire a consulting firm she happens to own. Of course, any criticism of Cullors is met with charges of racism and white supremacy. Samantha Mandeles reported for Legal Insurrection last month:

Still, Cullors has dismissed much of this criticism as a distraction, engineered by the right-wing, from the quest to end “white supremacy”; she recently posted a statement on Instagram in which she condemned an unspecified article about her collection of luxury homes as “false and defamatory”, an example of “doxxing”, and a well-worn “tactic of terror” often dispatched against “Black activists”.

As the organization has grown in size and influence, fiscal matters have taken on greater importance. I wrote recently for Legal Insurrection,

The Black Lives Matter movement grew in 2020 to encompasses several tax exempt organizations, a new PAC, and chapters across the United States, while raking in tens of millions of dollars and engaging in grant making activity to like minded organizations around the country.

Originally founded in 2013, and later formed as a 501(c)3 fiscally sponsored by the Tides Center, last year the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) made major impacts in education, elections, and on America’s streets. Their plans for 2021 and beyond are even bigger.

Contrary to Cullors’ claims, the criticism and questions didn’t originate exclusively from conservatives. Again from LI’s Mandeles:

Years of financial opacity and the recent controversies have reportedly pushed other Black Lives Matter leaders to call for an investigation into the inner workings of Cullors’ behemoth umbrella group, the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation. Moreover, at least 10 state and local chapters of the organization have publicly split off from the larger group, and published scathing critiques of Cullors. One such critique accuses the BLMGNF of “stealing money from stolen lives”.

Did Cullors resign after years of planning, or did she resign under pressure due to fiscal mismanagement?

That’s what happens when you don’t pay your pimp, Patrisse.
Facebook don’t suppress negative news about you for free.
Shoulda kept up with the vig payments, like Hunter Biden did.

I had a deam that I got to meet Patrisse Cullors. And in my dream we talked about our privilege. I said to her, “White privilege and $4.50 will buy me a cup of coffee at McDonalds.” And Patrisse replied, “That’s nothing. Black privlilege bought me a 1.4 million dollar house in Topanga Canyon.”

Let’s see her try and keep up the property tax payments.

In my opinion she is just another stupid con artist. Her buying spree was really dumb.

I would say the characterization of “stupid” more properly applies to all the suckers who sent her organizations money (many just hoping to buy her off). *She* seems to be doing all right.

Ah, but how surprised should we be that Cullors lacked the discipline to exercise delayed gratification, when her entire movement appeals to the greed of those who suffer from this same lack?

Remember: delayed gratification is officially a hallmark of white culture, to which she does not subscribe… so her failure is all the fault of supremacy, or patriarchy, or somebody else (anybody else).

I am put in mind here of the classic cine-fiction crook who can’t follow the crew leader’s orders to sit on his share of the heist proceeds beyond the statute of limitations, and whose profligate spending draws the attention of the FBI to everybody in the gang. You just weren’t “white enough,” Rocco. You could learn something from Walter White (no pun intended).

The only thing is, that same as AOC, low intelligence or not, they get to do so much damage! Look at all the violence BLM has generated, the economic losses due to their actions, the loss of lives, and in the end, they are not held accountable, just walk out, and very rich too. Bill Gates, Soros, all of those characters have given millions. “Demagogues in America; they have the most lucrative occupations”. Dr. Thomas Sowell.

Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, …

As it turns out, Ms. Cullors, they didn’t just try, they succeeded, and did so because it was easy to see the truth. You were the best kind of Marxist, ma’am — a wealthy one (see, for example, María Gabriela Chávez Colmenares, the dingbat daughter of Hugo Chávez, reportedly worth over $4 billion today). Perhaps you were envious?

Be that as it may, your fellow BLM marxists, grifters, connivers, and fellow lay-abouts (that should cover most of them) were angry that you were (reportedly) scarfing up the boodle for yourself. It’s not like Marxists would ever exactly share, of course, but even Fidel Castro managed to distribute just enough to keep his inner circle content.

Let this be a lesson to you.

Does she get to keep all those houses? Did she pay for them with burn loot murder cash? Did she put them in BLM’s name so they would be “tax exempt”? What is her next grift?

Kinda fun to see this.

Maybe she got pushed out. BLM isn’t doing too well lately. Even the guilty verdicts against Chauvin, which should excite their bloodlust even more, aren’t turning out the crowds.

giggers are gonna gig

she’ll be back in some form

scamming is a way of life for these people

It’s time for Queen Hustler to cash in and enjoy the fruits of her con. Well-played; one must admit that. Cullors conned the Dhimmi-crats and corporate America for a nice payday and a substantial real estate portfolio.

So Buy Large Mansions was a bad idea…

Ya gotta love these Marxists who land nice, fat deals. Maybe Ms. Cullors is next going to buy up distressed properties in neighborhoods her organization trashed last summer, get all the tax breaks for reabilitating them, and then sell them as part of a gentrifying trend?

she needs more time to manage all her properties

“‘Those were right-wing attacks that tried to discredit my character, and I don’t operate off of what the right thinks about me,’ Cullors told the Associated Press.”

To borrow a line from Game of Thrones, we’re not discrediting your character, Ms. Cullors… we’re denying it’s existence.

Another victim of systemic racism. See how it works? First lie about white people and police and trash America. Get big business and idiots to give you money. Get rich. Scream about racism. Get more money. Then the systemic racism causes you to get caught lying and stealing. Retire rich. Get a job as a professor teaching equity diversity and inclusion. Continue to teach about victim hood and white privilege. Watch idiot progs validate the lies

Only a liberal is stupid enough to think “Trained Marxist” is an attribute.

This is always the inevitable end result of Marxism. Those in charge get replaced by the next dictator wanting to be in charge as their hypocrisy becomes too big to hide.

Stalin wiped out everyone involved in the original Marxist revolution in Russia. They were ideologues who believed they could build a better society and enrich themselves along the way. The next dictator decided to profit off their work and killed them, their families and just about anyone they ever knew.

Marxism, Communism and Fascism (closely related cousins) only succeed as long as those in charge remain a small group. That small group will also be enriched upon the backs of the very people who supported the overthrow of the previous regime. The next small group comes behind them, cuts the head off the snake and takes power. It’s a cycle that continues until the entire thing is bankrupted.

It took the USSR about 70 years from the first revolution to the fall. I hope we can cut this off before it grows into an unstoppable cycle that only stops when it burns itself out and burns through the entire economy.

Yep, da truff cumz outz and I’ze gets kawt! Damn right-wing, racist, sexist peoplez.

It’s only the trained Marxists who win and get rich at Marxism.
