Ousted Space Force Leader Saw ‘Increasing Relevance’ of ‘Marxist Ideology’

They had to watch videos “in which we were taught that the country is evil and founded in 1619 and not 1776 and that whites are inherently evil.”

The Defense Department relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier of his command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, CO, due to comments made on a podcast about Marxism spreading in the military.

Lohmeier told Sean Hannity the Marxism spread is not a recent development. It’s been happening for years.

Here’s the transcript (emphasis mine):

Lohmeier: What happened is I began noticing some time ago not just in the past few months but over the past several years an increasing relevance of what I saw was Marxist ideology parading around by other names. The Defense secretary in February of this year called for an extremism down day and issued a guidance memorandum to all service members. And in the guidance memorandum, he basically gave an injunction to every service member to combat extremist ideologies within the force where they saw them and take it upon ourselves to protect one another and to speak up and educate one another about extremist ideologies when we discover them causing divisions within the force and that’s me paraphrasing the guidance memorandum so I include that in the introduction as well.

Hannity: So you recognize the narratives as being Marxist in nature, your words, not mine, and also you said it teaches intensive teaching that I heard at the base at a time that the Constitution ratified the U.S., codified white supremacy is the law of the land. Are they not aware that we fought a civil war? That the 64, 65 Civil Rights Act, Voting Rights Act, Joe Biden’s friend the filibuster…Side note, while not perfect, we have made incredible strides and incredible more to go towards a more perfect union, is that not recognized at all?

Lohmeier: It is recognized. I think one of the things that the defense department does very well is make it very clear we have zero-tolerance for discrimination of any kind based on race, sex, politics, religion…

Hannity: But that’s standard.

Lohmeier: That’s the standard, right? So to that end, I made that very clear to my own people that in light of a hyper politicized environment that I’ve seen since taking command and I’m no longer in command, I will not tolerate any discrimination of any kind based on politics, for example. So let me give you one example of what I saw in the past ten months when I was in command of the unit. There were videos sent out to every base and service member that we were asked to watch in preparation for our extremism down days and discussions on race in which we were taught that the country is evil and founded in 1619 and not 1776 and that whites are inherently evil. And so I speak up against those things in my book.

Greed…..not for money but control.

Well, I think it’s both. Look at how BLM’s founder has enriched herself. BLM has become the biggest fundraising tool in the history of fundraising essentially taking the Rainbow Coalition corporate extortion model and putting it on steroids…lots and lots of steroids.

People are making a fortune on this scam while also consolidating their power and control of every major cultural, academic and industrial organization.

I disagree. With the left, money is always right at the center of everything they do. Those things he said were being taught for example. You’ll find that there were “consultants” being paid a fortune to teach them.

It’s part of the never -ending leftist scam, to make money off of activism. They call it “doing well by doing good.”

Money is power. Power is money. As Bill Gates would say, “What’s the difference?”

He wasn’t just any Air Force colonel. He was first in every training program he was sent to. And, he was double deep selected to become a Senior AF General.

He filed a IG complaint when different AF groups continued to use CRT and BLM training material. And, they got him for it.

Not so much on laptops and desktops, but on phones it steps all over everything, especially when your keyboard panel is up.
And its performance is execrable — instead of taking you directly to the top in one jump, it scrolls up the (sometimes extremely long) page actually slower than you could have.

NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT

Every American, regardless of political view, should be concerned about the politicization of the military. Ideological purges of military leaders is something done by third-world dictators and USSR and China. Same with political indoctrination of the military.

Why can’t our military and intel people see this for what it is – a subversion of America.

God,

Smart, handsome, young he has it all. In any other time he would have been the face of the Space Force

This Country is so screwed

It lays evidence to my theory that the only reason President Trump did not send in the military to stop Antifa is because he did not have the military leaders support.

Hmmm… “DeSantis-Lohmeier 2024”

Anyone else like the sound of that?

Talk about a profile in courage. THIS is what real courage looks like.

The current path leads us to the 2024 selection not election. The Soviets showed us how this works.

I intended for this to be a reply under McGehee.

“DeSantis-Lohmeier 2024” will be the sound of silence if the rapid purge of the counterrevolutionaries continues with success.

Well, no one wants Nazis in Space, but here we are. Nice work, wokie clowns.

We should all want woke US Dimocratic Marxist soldiers in space. /s It didn’t take long for the military to beclown itself in the Bumbles Biden Admin.

If you want to avoid Amazon, one place the colonel’s book is still available is Half Price Books http://www.hpb.com . My copy is on the way.

In Comrade Biden’s America and military Marxism is now mainstream and any criticism of it is ‘extremism’ that must be suppressed and purged using any and all means necessary.

We now have a politicized radical leftwing military complete with virtual commissars. The head commissar is Bishop Garrison, a racist neo-Marxist.

Service members are being encouraged to snitch on their fellow soldiers, sailor, and Marines if the think they may be ‘extremists’.

On the bright side, those purged will not be executed as they were in Stalin’s 1930s purge of the Soviet military.

I think the best cure for this is to dramatically slash the military budget. If our dedication to raising the military budget (without a war by the way) is so fanatical that the military could promote leftist ideology while purging people for being against CRT without major consequences then they will only go farther to the left and it will not be Joe Biden’s fault.

Cutting the budget of a politicized military is a time honored way of dealing with the politicization, and gets very good results usually.

Ben Kent in reply to Danny. | May 18, 2021 at 2:48 pm

In third-world countries where the military is so politicized they end up with units that are loyal to the leader – like a Republican Guard.

This is where politicization leads. A point where every Party has its own preferred units and every new leader purges people they don’t trust from the prior Administration.

It eats away moral and unit cohesion.

It is a SERIOUS NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT.

The dummies in the Pentagon have LOST THEIR FIGGIN MINDS.

There are now enough communists in positions of power to begin to silence opposition. We know where it goes from here.
