Michigan State Student Govt. Calls on School to Hire Employee Dedicated to Illegal Immigrant Students

“This employee shall have a designated area in order to create a safe space for undocumented students to seek support”

Perhaps the school could pay for this position by raising the tuition of any student who agrees with this idea.

Campus Reform reports:

MSU student gov calls on admin to hire employee dedicated to illegal immigrant students

At Michigan State University (MSU), a student government bill aims to pressure university administration to hire an “undocumented student affairs” position.

Passed on cMarch 4, Bill 57-78 calls on the Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU) to “Advocate for the Hiring of a Full-Time Employee for Undocumented Student Affairs.”

“This employee shall have a designated area in order to create a safe space for undocumented students to seek support,” states the bill.

ASMSU demands the new employee be selected by a committee comprised of “students and faculty most affected by the current lack of resources and representation for undocumented students.”

Included in the bill is a statement from DreaMSU, a pro-illegal immigrant student group, which cites MSU’s one-star ranking from uLEAD (University Leaders for Educational Access and Diversity) in relation to “financial and general support for undocumented students.” The University of Michigan, Oakland University, and Grand Valley State University all received a four star rating.

In a November 2019 rally at MSU’s administration building, DreaMSU and students demanded the university to create a position dedicated to illegal students and to provide resources to non-citizens.

Months later in January 2020, MSU published an “undocumented” student resources website, with a goal to “reduce apprehension.”

How about one operated by ICE.

Some states have passed legislation addressing whether such students can attend state universities and whether they should get the in-state resident tuition. I would assume that such legislation would also address whether state funds can be used for such purposes. What has the University of Michigan done to get their uLEAD rating that MSU has not, and how did Univ. of Michigan fund it?

The state board in charge of colleges in Michigan should investigate UM, Oakland U., and GVSU and determine if taxpayer dollars were used to fund the college education of illegal aliens when many young citizens should have. Michigan is a hell hole for citizens rights. The leftists running the state have ruined the economy with their handling of the COVID situation and the self serving, illegal behavior of Gretchen Whitmer and her gang of “woke” idiots.

The obvious solution is to “hire” an undocumented counselor for an undisclosed amount and use an anonymous safe space headquarters in the sanctuary of Michigan State. No bias or pesky rules that would be systemically racist to cause outrage.
