Bernie Bros: FBI Reportedly Calls 2017 Shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise, Republicans ‘Suicide by Cop’

“Director, you want suicide by cop, you just pull a gun on a cop. It doesn’t take 136 rounds. It takes one bullet.”

In the spring of 2017, a Bernie Sanders supporter and Rachel Maddow ‘superfan’ named James Hodgkinson shot up a baseball field full of Republican congressmen, nearly killing Rep. Steve Scalise.

You may have forgotten about this because Democrats and the media spent about 48 hours talking about it. Yet they’re still yapping about the January 6th ‘insurrection.’

The FBI, which is still investigating the incident at the Capitol, has deemed the shooting of Scalise and other Republicans as “suicide by cop.” This completely negates the politics of the shooter, and it’s outrageous.

Politico reports:

Lawmakers reveal — and dispute — FBI conclusion about 2017 baseball field shooting

A congressman who was on the baseball field during the 2017 shooting that nearly killed GOP Whip Steve Scalise says the FBI privately informed lawmakers it ruled the attack a “suicide by cop,” a designation he said downplayed the shooter’s apparently political motivation.

Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) revealed the previously undisclosed determination during a hearing of the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday, upbraiding FBI Director Christopher Wray and prompting several colleagues of both parties to pile on. He said FBI agents privately briefed the baseball team on Nov. 16, 2017 to deliver the controversial determination.

“Much to our shock that day, the FBI concluded that this was a case of the attacker seeking suicide by cop,” Wenstrup said. “Director, you want suicide by cop, you just pull a gun on a cop. It doesn’t take 136 rounds. It takes one bullet. Both the DHS and the (Office of the Director of National Intelligence) published products labeling this attack as a domestic violent extremism event, specifically targeting Republican members of Congress. The FBI did not.”

Scalise himself has spoken out about this on Twitter:

The message being sent here is loud and clear.

Do you remember what the political media environment was like in the spring of 2017? Let me remind you. Democrats, and hosts on CNN and MSNBC were beating a drum nightly, claiming that Russia installed the new American president and that all complicit Republicans were basically Nazis. The shooter was a Rachel Maddow fan.

Are we supposed to believe that none of that played a role in this?

That 3 letter agency needs to be gutted. It’s looking a lot like the 3 letter agency Putin came from.

Get Trump back in, he did not understand the full scope of Obama’s corruption of the FBI and other agencies.

Leftwing hate, the hate that shall not be media-mentioned …

I’m sure this is the one that will cause a few of the 98% of “standup” FIB agents to speak out. Holding my breath, guys. Aaaanytime now. Anytime.

I’m a firm believer in the adage that if there were any good cops, then there wouldn’t be any bad ones

The FBI used to try to convince the public that it was not corrupt, no all pretense has been abandoned

Notice how this clown wasn’t a conservative.

What, the FBI said something today?
Let’s all sit in silence and rapt attention!

“Listen to that,” said the man in a red cloak, “one animal says another animal told it to do something.”

Historians will one day write about America, under the subject line: “Suicide by voting machines”.

Surprised they didn’t call it ‘celebratory gunfire’ since the 1/6 riot has been classified as an armed insurrection attempting to overthrow the US and commit various horrible felonies we should just lock them up forever and ignore their right to bail,

We all know the deal. They didn’t want any blame for a terrorist act to accrue to a Bernie supporter or any other Democratic Socialist fellow travellers so they directed their corrupt minions to make sure it was properly deflected.

This agency is a disgrace. Wray is a disgrace and I do not believe there a single honest FBI agent. Not one.

    Bingo.

We need to get word over to Sean Hannity that the FBI rank and file, you know his 99%, they are drinking the same Kool Aid the FBI top seventh floor cops are drinking.

Translation: the entire FBI is corrupt.

An Aside

In 2005, about 6:30 am, my wife and I both up drinking coffee: Directly across the street from our home, blue lights and red lights began flashing.

Our forty-five-year-old neighbor, sitting in his bed, was shot dead by local policemen.

His pistol was there in the bed beside him. The officer who shot him used an AR15, or some such long gun. His mother, who turned 100 last year, and his older sister both were in their beds in adjoins bedrooms connected by a long hallway.

The next day, I entered the house, moved the bloody mattress outside for them, and helped to clean his bloodstains from the carpet.

Suicide by cop.

There were suspicious goings on in the aftermath which I attempted to discover from the authorities. They wouldn’t talk to me. The local newspaper published only his obituary.

After a few years, I filed a foia (?) request with the city DA. I paid only $25 for the privilege of reading the document that was so heavily redacted that I could learn almost nothing from it.

To this day, I still don’t know exactly what happened in there that morning. To this day the only people who do know are that DA, I’m sure a few other fathers of the community, and the state’s bureau of investigation.

To this day, his mother doesn’t know, his two sisters and his brother don’t know.

I’m sitting on my porch right now, looking across the street at the house, remembering the incident, and I still have no idea what transpired in that house.

It’s a semi-public mystery.

FBI – Friggin’ Bolsheviks Inside

He planned on suicide by cop… After mass murdering one or two dozen GOP Congressmen because he hated Republicans… And loved Bernie. This is not terrorism.

Ignorance is Strength.

But breaking into the Capital building, unarmed, during a protest and scaring Democrat Representatives, none of whom were harmed… That’s not only terrorism. It’s Insurrection.

Doublethink is Good.

Old post from 2008 from another site.

“Americans walked through a door last night, and it locked behind them.

Certainly, nothing dire will happen immediately. But the long-term rot will continue unabated, at times slowly and at other times more quickly, until someday .. maybe years in the future …. most of us will recognize that this was indeed a pivotal moment that altered the course of America and our society in such ways that we can never hope to recover.

While the euphoria is now about America having evolved enough to finally elect an African-American as president, the majority of Americans will someday recognize that he wasn’t just that, but he was more importantly a Marxist, anti-American, anti-Western, anti-Semitic, black separationist, Muslim jihadi sympathizing, corrupt Chicago politician who loathed the half of himself that was Caucasian.

Exhibit A in why it was a mistake to ever give grace to the left (especially in this case). They just see it as weakness.

This is moronic. “Suicide by cop” and “domestic terrorism” are not mutually exclusive. (Neither is “hate crime” and “terrorism.” Every Muslim attack against Jews is both a hate crime and a terror attack.) Why do they pretend that someone who intended suicide by cop can’t also be a domestic terrorist?

Wray is making a go of it as the Nation’s top cop isn’t he now? His do nothing in enforcement of the law, but go into hyperdrive to investigate Trump supporters doctrine helped get rid of Trump and retain his Directorship. Why Wray is more famous than Comey these days.

I wonder why nobody trusts the FBI anymore? /sarc

Our FBI is a serious has been law enforcement agency. It needs a serious gutting and makeover.
