You Will Get a Vaccination Card With Your COVID-19 Vaccine

You Will Get a Vaccination Card With Your COVID-19 Vaccine

How about papers for flu, pneumonia, measles, polio, DTaP, mumps, chickenpox, meningitis, etc?

CDC image: https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/images/vaccine-injection.jpg

Kids get vaccination cards so parents can keep track of vaccines for personal knowledge, but also for schools. It makes sense, especially when they get older and you don’t need vaccines every single yearly checkup.

Adults get to join the party with a COVID-19 vaccine, but something tells me it’s not going to be as innocent as a child’s vaccine card.

“When their next dose is due.”

The CDC website says, “All but one of the COVID-19 vaccines currently in Phase 3 clinical trials in the United States need two shots to be effective. The other COVID-19 vaccine uses one shot.”

So why does the piece of paper have more than 2 slots? We all know what it means!

“Show us your papers.”

We’re not stupid. The COVID-19 vaccine card is to show that you received your vaccine. Immunization Action Coalition’s associate director Dr. Kelly Moore insists the card is the “simplest” way for people “to keep track of Covid-19 shots.” From CNN:

“Everyone will be issued a written card that they can put in their wallet that will tell them what they had and when their next dose is due,” Moore said. “Let’s do the simple, easy thing first. Everyone’s going to get that.”

Vaccination clinics will also be reporting to their state immunization registries what vaccine was given, so that, for example, an entity could run a query if it didn’t know where a patient got a first dose.

Moore said many places are planning to ask patients to voluntarily provide a cell phone number, so they can get a text message telling them when and where their next dose is scheduled to be administered.

“Voluntarily.” Yeah, you’re not getting my cell number. I don’t need you to text me if I have a stupid card.

Slippery slope.

How much do you want to bet that Big Government will require us plebians to carry this around? How about papers for flu, pneumonia, measles, polio, DTaP, mumps, chickenpox, meningitis, etc?

My body, my choice? Nope! You want to do anything you have to get this vaccine and you have to prove it to everyone.

Gee, I wonder what will happen to a private business owner who refuses to check vaccine cards before allowing patrons into the building. We’ve seen videos of cops arresting and handing out fines to business owners who do not follow social distancing rules.

It is different if a private business owner chooses to require the card in order to enter the premises. The government should not force them.

Look, I honestly do not understand why people choose not to get vaccines. Before I got rheumatoid arthritis, Sjorgen’s, and lupus I got the flu shot every year. Of course, I didn’t last year, and I ended up with pneumonia.

HOWEVER! I can understand the hesitancy, especially since the vaccine came out in such a short time. My rheumatologist told me she won’t give me the vaccine until she knows how it affects people with autoimmune disorders. Did you know I cannot get updated on most vaccines like measles? Those contain a live virus so I would *litrally* give myself the measles since my immune system cannot fight it.

Even with tests and authorization, people (especially those in government) have to remember we are not robots. Not everyone is the same. I know there are legit reasons why people cannot take certain vaccines. Those with an egg allergy cannot have the flu shot.

I also have to say that pointing out facts does not mean we diminish or don’t care about those who passed away with COVID-19. It has a 99% survival rate. Once our immune systems have the exposure it can build antibodies and figure out ways to fight it. That does not apply to me, but you don’t see me panicking and putting my life on hold.

Papiere bitte indeed.

Will they make those who can’t or won’t wear a yellow star or pink triangle?

I see a black market opportunity here

Does that mean Voter ID would be ok too? 😉

Of course not. That might disenfranchise fake voters. Can’t have that, now can we?

You’ll get your ballots mailed to you already filled out with who you are. Just be sure to mail them back properly filled out for the correct party. Remember, those who don’t vote don’t eat!

Obama pledged to be one of the first ones to get vaccinated. I wonder what he will do with his vaccination card. In all the years of his adult life he said he claimed didn’t know where his birth certificate was. He sarcastically remarked that he didn’t go around with it pasted to his forehead. Finally, after many court battles and millions of dollars in lawyer fees, he said he would have to request a “new” one from Hawaii.

Who’s to say it will be the real deal, and not a saline injection for show???

We have no way of knowing, and experience tells us we can’t rely on MSM to give us anything but propaganda.

Time to put the proverbial foot down: enough.

This is a total scam, witness all the democrat elected scumbags – including that clown Fauci – violating mask directives and eating out in restaurants.

As for Bill Gates: he has become literally, a sinister figure in our country.

Just go about your business. They can’t arrest us all.

Government solutions are blunt instruments. One size fits no one. But shut up and take it anyway.

Are they going to call it a “Freedom Card,” as in, “You’re free to leave your house without getting arrested (as long as you’re not a wrongthinker)”?

fishingfool55 | December 3, 2020 at 5:42 pm

Makes sense to me. You go to CVS for your first shot and Walgreens for your second. The paper tells the second location what vaccine you had and whether it is time for your second shot.

FDA wants to know what vaccine you got and whether you get Covid-19 or any complications. It is an emergency approval. They would want to identify any complications as soon as possible and stop that vaccine use.

Your insurance company will have the info in their records. The pharmacists at whatever pharmacy you elect to use – anywhere in the nation – will access the insurance record.

That’s how it’s been working for the past decades. You don’t need a separate card for this. But why would anyone in the government know this?

The approval process for the smallpox vaccine took 20 years. The COVID vaccine is not a true vaccine. A true vaccine is a live, attenuated or killed virus that is not self-replicating. The Mrna vaccine is self-replicating viral strand that goes into all your cells to generate a new DNA code to thwart COVID. Anyone with autoimmune disorders should think long and hard about getting this vaccine. It’s going to tweak the hell out of your immune response system.

I’m no anti-vaxer. However, a card?

Forcing people to get this vaccine is absurd and doubtless unconstitutional. You want it, you should get it. But fears about COVID are insanely overblown. It isn’t the black death.

I used to think we were controlled by fools and idiots. I now believe the world is run by madmen.

And I’m not talking about Donald Trump.

We have airlines requiring people present negative COVID tests to board an airplane. NY state is only allowing people to enter the state without quarantine if they have a negative COVID test. Does anyone think that a COVID vaccination card will be a harmless thing? Please.

Once again, people, COVID is a disease which has a 99.96-99.99% survival rate. And for this we NEED a vaccine and NEED that vaccine to be administered to 99% of the population? Really? We have ways of making you obedient citizens. No vaccination, no travel, no leaving the house, no engaging in business, no human contact, wear this big yellow crown sticker on your outer clothing.

How about papers for flu, pneumonia, measles, polio, DTaP, mumps, chickenpox, meningitis, etc?

We used to have those in order to travel abroad. I remember them. To go anywhere you needed a smallpox jab, and depending on where you were going you needed other things as well. And you had to show the card with your passport or you didn’t get on the plane.

    nordic_prince in reply to Milhouse. | December 3, 2020 at 6:22 pm

*used to* … implying “no longer” (at least before the “covid” nonsense.

Then they stopped…why? Because those ceased to be an issue. They weren’t the Black Death. Smallpox vaccinations were stopped in the 70s, and at least since then shots were not needed for international travel in general (exceptions for places in Africa and other “third world” countries with substandard health systems and hygiene.

“covid,” et al are not the bogeymen the media like to portray them as, and if those who want a shot get one then they shouldn’t fret over those who choose not to get it. After all, vaccines are “safe and effective,” so we’re told, and hence it should not matter to the immunized if they happen to encounter someone who lack immunization.

Furthermore, there is no medical reason to immunize a person against an illness from which he’s already recovered. (How can artificial “immunity” be superior to naturally acquired immunity?) To insist on mass/compulsory immunization which disregards this fact makes no logical sense. And not allowing exemptions for religious/personal convictions is an egregious infringement upon human rights.

      Milhouse in reply to nordic_prince. | December 3, 2020 at 7:14 pm

The point is when they were required nobody thought they were an intrusion on liberty. They went away not because they were offensive but because they were no longer needed. You can argue that they’re not needed now either, but that’s not an argument about principles, it’s just a question of weighing facts.

tphillip in reply to Milhouse. | December 3, 2020 at 9:06 pm

“The point is when they were required nobody thought they were an intrusion on liberty.”

        HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

        That’s a good one Milhouse.

I guess you want to ignore the late 1800s and early 1900s when smallpox was a big thing. Not only did people think that the papers were an affront, they considered the vaccine and everything surrounding it an affront and resisted. At times with violence towards government personnel.

Go read “Pox” and educate yourself. Stop spouting garbage for once.

Milhouse in reply to tphillip. | December 4, 2020 at 9:48 am

Yeas, you idiot, I’m not talking about the ignorant superstitious primitives of ancient times who thought vaccination was witchcraft or something. They didn’t resist papers, they resisted the actual vaccinations, and history shows they were wrong. It had nothing to do with liberties.

I said very clearly what I was talking about. The time very recently when vaccinations were required for travel, and you needed a card to show what vaccinations you’d had, and nobody thought this was any sort of intrusion on their liberties.

      Milhouse in reply to nordic_prince. | December 3, 2020 at 7:17 pm

And no, there is no right to an exemption for religious/personal convictions. There never has been. When these things were needed the only exceptions were for people who medically couldn’t get vaccinated.

tphillip in reply to Milhouse. | December 3, 2020 at 9:13 pm

“And no, there is no right to an exemption for religious/personal convictions. There never has been.”

New York and other states would like a word with you.

Please travel to the appropriate state capital and tell the state government that you know better about the laws they pass than they do. I’m sure they’d love to hear your enlightened musings.

Milhouse in reply to tphillip. | December 4, 2020 at 10:08 am

No state believes or has ever believed that there is a right to be exempt from general immunization requirements, where those apply, for “religious/personal convictions”. Jacobson put any such notion to rest. States may choose to grant such exemptions, and if they grant exemptions for other non-medical reasons then they must justify why religious convictions should be denied the same consideration, but that’s all. And “personal” convictions don’t even get a look in.

Ihr Impfungsattest, bitte.

Have we gotten to the “over my dead body” part yet?

The “my body, my choice” crowd is strangely silent.

Heh – when I was in the Army I was in a worldwide on-short-notice deployable unit (to be unnamed here). Last duty day of every month we had to take our vaccination record to the dispensary and get boosters for all kinds of things. Been stuck with anything and everything. I went to my first civilian primary care physician after my discharge and his eyes bulged out looking at my records. “Where the hell have you been?” he asked.

But that’s the Army, where everyone is a volunteer — once. Shouldn’t be doing that to free citizens.

alaskabob in reply to John M. | December 3, 2020 at 6:49 pm

    “free citizen”… what’s that?

DSHornet in reply to John M. | December 3, 2020 at 9:50 pm

Likewise when I was in the Air Force. In TAC, we were theoretically on short notice to deploy to literally anywhere in the world. Like you, I’ve been injected with so many vaccines I really don’t care about a needle. It’s no big deal.

My brother-in-law has a conniption every time he gets jabbed with a needle. He REALLY has a meltdown when I tell him he’s a wuss.
    .

“May we see your vaccination card, please?”

“My what now?”

“Your COVID-19 vaccination card. You have been vaccinated, haven’t you?”

“Well, yes — ”

“Then you must have a card. Where is it?”

“I didn’t know I was supposed to carry it with me. When I had my childhood vaccinations nobody expected me to carry it around to show to random people asking to see it.”

“I’m not a random person. I’m your pizza delivery driver.”

“Whatever happened to contact-free delivery?”

“The vaccine happened.”

No, anybody that tries to inject that poison into myself or any member of the family gets shot in the head.

Documentation for when the lawsuits start pouring in.

That’s a laugh. An individual cannot sue a vaccine manufacturer for any injuries caused by a vaccine. Vaccine manufacturers long ago blackmailed the federal government into creating a special federal “vaccine court” to protect them from the inevitable lawsuits from their knowingly marketing a dangerous and unsafe product (ie. vaccines). So now you can only bring cases up before the “vaccine court” and hope the special arbiters rule in your favor which from what I’ve read is rigged to be the next best thing to impossible.

    TL;dr

The vaccine manufacturers cannot be sued in a court of law over any injuries sustained due to a vaccine.

“Look, I honestly do not understand why people choose not to get vaccines.”

Did you live through Jerry Ford’s Swine Flu debacle, as I did? Exactly one person dead of the actual flu, 500 debilitated and 25 deaths from the government vaccine.

Leave it to our government to design “a card you can put in your wallet” that has to be folded twice to fit in your wallet.

Anyway, given the amount of skill it takes to counterfeit a Green Card, you ought to be able to buy your entire family a set of these bad boys from the same sources for under $20.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to henrybowman. | December 5, 2020 at 10:56 am

“Look, I honestly do not understand why people choose not to get vaccines.”

Because vaccines are unlike any other medicines are given to healthy people and not given in response any disease process and may cause more medical problems than simply not receiving the vaccine inf the first place.

“Among the potential side-effects, they warn, are the formation of ‘non-neutralising antibodies’ which can cause an exaggerated, and possibly lethal, immune reaction – especially when the test person is confronted after vaccination with the real, ‘wild’ virus. There is also a risk of ‘infertility of indefinite duration’ in vaccinated women; and the possibility of fatal allergic reactions to polyethylene glycol (PEG) which is used in the mRNA vaccines from BioNTech/Pfizer.”

IMO, this is much ado about nothing. You want a vaccine, ok; you don’t want a vaccine ok.

You guys are reading way too much into this. IMO, someone got tasked to figure out distribution and tracking for the follow on final dose. The card is the result.

My military medical record lists every inoculation by type, date, series and so forth. The beloved anthrax vaccine was a series of six or seven as I recall. This is a tracking mechanism for the user developed in response to an ass chewing when initially briefed, at least that’s how it seems to me.

Y’all are giving the govt way too much credit. Remember not to ascribe to evil intent what can be explained as benign incompetence. The anti malarial drug they had us taking in the sandbox, mefloquine, once a week was later discontinued due to side effects.

My point is don’t expect to be asked for your Rona card in daily life. Your employer might but that’s not the same as the Karen from your HoA or the Sheriff.

And it will never ever be abused in any way, and the safeguards put in place will punish any abuse.

Like the illegal database of 4473 forms created by the ATF that the pinkie swear they deleted after getting caught. Or the bullying and intimidation of pistol permit holders by the media and activist. Or intimidation of voters thanks to voter databases. Or DMV databases across the nation used to stalk individuals by civil servants and law enforcement.

Nope. This time they’ll get it right.

CommoChief in reply to tphillip. | December 4, 2020 at 9:21 am

      tphillip,

I didn’t say it couldn’t be used that way simply that that in order for it to be used that way the govt has to be competent.

Your argument using other examples like misuse of database information to target or harass doesn’t make sense in this context. You will either get vaccination AND a card or not get vaccination and will NOT get a card.

You might have to deal with Karen without a card. However the govt would need to create an accurate database of those who have and have not been vaccinated in order to begin a campaign of harassment.

Even then, that info would be protected under HIPPA and Privacy act. That is a whole lot of pain in the ass procedures which not only must be followed but which must be provided to you if you ask for them. Karen doesn’t want to be in that spotlight. Karen doesn’t want to be sued into oblivion.

For that matter Karen doesn’t want an ‘attitude adjustment’ in the parking lot after work hours either…

LibraryGryffon in reply to CommoChief. | December 3, 2020 at 9:10 pm

Given the number of people who have demanded to know what my medical condition is which precludes me wearing a mask, (and how badly they take my telling them that they have no right to ask and I have no legal responsibility to tell them), I can see a lot of people demanding to see the vaccination card, even if they don’t have the right or any reason to. And they’ll demand medical proof that you can’t get vaccinated, and still refuse you entrance to the building or gathering even with said medical proof that the vaccine would kill you.

CommoChief in reply to LibraryGryffon. | December 4, 2020 at 9:10 am

      LibraryGryffon,

Karen is gonna Karen. Fact of life.

As I am sure you already do, simply point out that they are not entitled to your medical information. HIPPA. Even if they were, they would be required under the Privacy act and it’s amendments to maintain the information through a large amount of very pain in the ass procedures which you are then entitled to review prior to compliance with their demand.

Karen doesn’t want to do all that. Karen will STFU when you place Karen in the center of the target.

Yes it’s a burden for all of us but fighting for our individual liberty always has been. My advice is judo the issue back onto Karen.

My insurance company tracks my stuff electronically. The pharmacy accesses the insurance record for the necessary information. It’s been that way for decades – WHY THEN WOULD I NEED TO CARRY ANOTHER SPECIAL CARD?

      CommoChief in reply to ss396. | December 4, 2020 at 3:45 pm

Ok I will try and explain how I think this card came to be.

Briefing to SR Officers Flag/GO rank.

One of the Generals/Admirals says ‘Ok I like the distribution plan but how will we be able to report we completed our mission’?

Briefer ‘Sir it’s on an electronic file’

Admiral ‘Ok but what if that data isn’t uploaded to the database? What if, the person with the CPU couldn’t upload on site and had to bring back to the office but loses the CPU in between?’

      Briefer Ummm

Admiral ‘I have one of those yellow UN vaccination cards, we all do, what about John Q Public?’

Briefer ‘Sir everyone has their civilian or military vaccines recorded on those, civilian need to present for Kg12 and for college enrollment.’

Admiral ‘Well my kid just went off to college and we had a Hell of time finding her card. In fact we didn’t. We had to get her provider to recreate it based off her medical records.’

      Briefer ‘Yes Sir, the….(gets interrupted)

Admiral ‘We have this whole military healthcare system and it took me a week or ten days to get it fixed and I’m an Admiral. How long would it take for some random civilian?’

Briefer ‘Sir our plan is to ask folks to bring their (gets interrupted)

Admiral ‘Major, are you telling me you are going to refuse to provide the vaccine to someone without that damn card?’

Briefer ‘No Sir, as I said we will ask …(gets interrupted)

Admiral ‘Son, it sure sounds like you don’t have a plan if someone doesn’t bring their yellow card’.

Briefer (thinking quickly) ‘Sir, we will have a Covid vaccination card on hand to issue if someone doesn’t bring their shot record.’

Admiral ‘Major, why didn’t you say so to start with and why are asking folks to find the damn yellow card if we can simply provide a card to record the vaccination?’

Briefer ‘Sir that is in our annex which wasn’t included in today’s brief.’

Admiral ‘Ok Major, here’s what we are going to do. Issue the card with the vaccine, I don’t want to hear about folks being asked to find that damn yellow card.’

      Brief concluded

Believe it or not, that’s an entirely plausible scenario of why we are discussing the Covid vaccination cards. I personally would have and likely still will bring my vaccination card for annotation.

“Look, I honestly do not understand why people choose not to get vaccines.”

Really? It took 40 years to et the Polio vaccine right so it wouldn’t kill people. Vaccines similar to the one for SARS-COV-2 have a tendency to kill their patients before the disease could.

Hell, your “safe” flu shot increases your chances for Guillain-Barré syndrome dramatically. And no one knows why after nearly 50 years.

But hey, if you want to become a beta tester and risk your long term health for a vaccine against a disease that is less deadly than Pneumonia (According to CDC’s own stats) I’m not going to stop you.

You can be the test bed for the long term effects and issues with the vaccine. We salute you for your sacrifice in the name of a vaccine that isn’t really needed and will be relatively worthless in a few years as the viruses mutate.

randian in reply to tphillip. | December 3, 2020 at 11:43 pm

Two of the three covid vaccines are mRNA vaccines, which historically have high rates of induced autoimmune diseases. That’s why such vaccines have never met FDA approval before. I don’t know why they do now, if the autoimmune problem had been licked I would expect the manufacturers to sing it to the rooftops. It would be a major medical breakthrough, after all. They are instead mysteriously silent.

Lots of posts from people who cite sometimes questionable and often explainable “statistics” as an excuse not to be vaccinated. Decades to get the polio vaccine right? That’s news. Since when and who said? Guillain-Barre syndrome? For how many people?

From the viewpoint of someone who has been poked with vaccinations since the 1950’s, all I can think is a little “knowledge” can lead to a lot of misinformation.

Bunch of pussies.
.

    Mac45 in reply to DSHornet. | December 3, 2020 at 11:06 pm

The internet is awash in statistic s surrounding vaccines, and the history of vaccines. So, if you want to know anything about them, they are a few keystrokes away.

Now, something to think about. If vaccines are so safe, why did the US Congress not only provide liability protection for vaccine manufacturers but set up a separate vaccine court to hear any cases which were accepted? Also, $4.4 billion dollars were awarded in damages from 2006 through 2017 for vaccine claims.

The benefits of vaccinations have to be weighed on a case-by-case basis by each individual. And, for some people the potential cure is worse than the disease. In the case of a disease which is only from .01-.04% fatal, I would be leery of taking a vaccine with a very limited testing period.

      LibraryGryffon in reply to Mac45. | December 3, 2020 at 11:39 pm

Indeed. And I say this as someone who has only missed the flu shot twice in the last 20 years. Because the first year I couldn’t get it, I got flu, then pneumonia, and then pleurisy, was off work for a good month, and nowhere near 100% for several months after that. (Which is why I laugh when people say “But Covid can take months to get over!” They obviously have never had real flu or pneumonia if they think those are a week in bed and then it’s like nothing ever happened.)

I worked at a casino through March, whose primary customers came from the NYC area and from east Asia. Our housemate still works there. None of us have gotten sick this year, except for the housemate getting a nasty non-Covid URI due to being required to wear a cloth mask 8 hours a day.

Only about 20% of the folks on the Diamond Princess even got infected, far fewer really sick or dead, in an environment which pretty much guarantees you’ll get whatever is there to be got, illness-wise. I believe the figures on the Roosevelt for not infected at all were even lower. I’m not particularly worried.

      DSHornet in reply to Mac45. | December 3, 2020 at 11:45 pm

Point made, but what explains the messages refuting those statistics? It’s hard to know which is true and which not. Truth lies somewhere in between the extremes of safe/not safe, but there is no such thing as completely safe.

Liability protection is a direct result of our litigious society. “I’ll sue!” is often the cry of the one who wants to mine deep pockets and get something for nothing. It’s hard to disprove a vaccine liability claim so the manufacturers settle to avoid the hassle and bad publicity.

Nobody should be forced or coerced into taking the Wu Flu vaccine but those who refuse, citing their “rights,” often fail to consider the real rights of the people around them who depend on them not to spread the virus. If an infected, unvaccinated, asymptomatic thirty-year-old passes the infection to his eighty-year-old grandmother, how proud will he be of his “right” to refuse vaccination? Not very proud, we would hope.
      .

LibraryGryffon in reply to DSHornet. | December 3, 2020 at 11:54 pm

I’ve seen a fair bit of research suggesting that there really is no asymptomatic, just pre-symptomatic. The asymptomatic folks are those where they’ve run so many cycles on the test that it can pick up a ‘dead’ bit of a coronavirus (not necessarily this one) and at such minute levels in the ‘patient’ that they could not possibly be infectious.

If the Covid tests were run at the same number of cycles as comparable tests for other viruses, most of the ‘positives’ would have been negative.

LibraryGryffon in reply to LibraryGryffon. | December 3, 2020 at 11:56 pm

Dang. Meant to say that the asymptomatic folks who never get sick, are those whose levels of virus are such that they cannot be infectious and should never have received a positive test result in the first place.

In March Fauci was saying that asymptomatic people play no significant role in pandemics. Now he’s claiming that asymptomatic people play a major role in the spread of covid.

        Mac45 in reply to DSHornet. | December 4, 2020 at 1:09 pm

You have bought into the herd immunity theory. While this theory is certainly attractive, it has proven to be largely a bust. According to this theory if a certain percentage of the population achieves anti-bodies to a specific disease, then the disease will essentially disappear from the herd. The commonly quoted levels of “immunity” , necessary to achieve this state, are over 80%. However, empirical evidence refutes this. In the US, we have a vaccination rate of over 95% for measles and an immunity rate of over 92%. Yet, every year, we see some cases of measles in the US. If the herd immunity theory is accurate, how can this be possible? The usual excuse is that the measles virus was “imported” from outside the US herd. Possible, but only in a few cases. Look at the panic among public health officials just a few years ago when there was a minor outbreak of measles. The number of cases was minuscule as were the number of deaths, including those among persons vaccinated against the disease. Yet, it was treated as a pubic health crisis. Why? Because it undermined the sacred cow of public health, the herd immunity theory.

If you want to risk your life to be vaccinate against a specific disease, that is fine. But, it is not alright to FORCE you to undertake that risk to POTENTIALLY protect another.

They did it for the same reason they gave gun manufacturers special protection from lawsuits. Because of all the cranks and various nutcases and frauds, and their shysters, who were filing all sorts of frivolous suits. There’s not a lot of profit in most vaccines, and the manufacturers told Congress either you give us this protection or we stop making them. It’s just not worth it for us. So they have this system which is incredibly generous to claimants, but tries to sort out the plausible claims from the bizarre ones. If you file a claim that could really have happened you get paid, without much inquiry into whether it really did happen.

And yes, anything has a risk for bad side effects, and has to be evaluated to see whether in this case the benefits outweigh the costs. In the vast majority of cases the benefits are large and the costs infinitesimal, but in some cases that’s not so. E.g. in Mary Chastain’s case she can’t have most vaccinations.

Wrong on two counts, Milhouse old chum.

Liability protection was given to firearms manufactures because there was a coordinated effort to drive them out of business by suing them for illegal uses of their product. This was not the case with vaccine manufacturers. In the late 1970s, the various governments, under the lead of the federal government began to require more and more mandatory vaccinations for children. Vaccine manufacturers and public health officials assured everyone these vaccines were safe. Predictably, long term debilitating side effects began to appear from the use of these vaccines. And, it became glaringly obvious, from product liability cases, that the vaccines were responsible and that the manufacturers and the public health officials knew this. However, their cavalier attitude that some collateral damage was acceptable in the quest for the unicorn of herd immunity was going to bankrupt the vaccine industry derailing the government and health consortium’s goal of universal vaccination. So, the Congress changed the rules.

The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was passed to:

        1) Indemnify the vaccine manufacturers
        2) Make it extremely difficult to bring suit and to successfully prosecute a case for injury due to vaccines and
        3) To cap judgement amounts in proven cases.

And, still, within a decade, the Special Masters assigned to this “court” paid out $4.4 BILLION dollars in damage claims for a decade (2006-2017).

Vaccines are designed to protect the individual, to whom they are administered, against contracting specific disease. So, if a person wishes such protection and is willing to chance the potential deleterious side effects, this is fine. However, the government(s), through public health officials and legislation made the administration of vaccines mandatory, especially in children. This, whether the parents or children desired such vaccine protection or not. To protect themselves and the mythical “herd immunity” they supported, Congress passed the NCVIA. It was not because of frivolous lawsuits or a concerted effort to drive vaccine manufacturers out of business to circumvent a Constitutional Amendment. It was because vaccines are inherently dangerous to individuals and public health officials ans vaccine manufacturers wanted to continue mandatory vaccinations of children whether their parents liked it or not. See how easily tyranny raises its ugly head?

Absolutely wrong. PLCAA immunifies the gun industry from lawsuits over MISUSE of their product. If the product causes death or injury because it malfunctions or is designed unsafely, or was sold in violation of state or federal regulations, they are not immune from lawsuit. In other words, if the industry is negligent, the industry can be sued.

The vaccine lawsuit immunity covers death or injury due to the operation of the vaccine as designed, inherent defect nonwithstanding. It’s a completely different animal.

Better print out a few and fill them out.

If you have 15 to 20 million people who are here illegally and have no id or other documentation to prove who they are and who do not obey the law how are you going to implement a program requiring everyone to obey the law?

I’m sure they’ll find a way to formally excuse the “undocumented”, just as the political elite aren’t required to abide by any of their own rules either.

Not *everyone*–but they can coerce the law-abiding. People who own homes, have jobs, pay rent, have car insurance.

Guess I won’t be receiving a “Vaccination Card” then.

How much do you want to bet that Big Government will require us plebians to carry this around?

It won’t be big government it will be big business. Want to fly anywhere or get medical treatment? Papers please! The same goes for masks I predict. Hospitals and doctor’s offices will require them forever, even if you have papers. In accordance with government guidance (aka Fauci), of course. When governments stop mandating them businesses like Publix and Walmart will continue mandating them. The Publix signs around here don’t mention government mandate at all, though signs in other businesses do.

Its a big IF that I get tha t Covid shot I want a “Get out of mask free” card

Its a big IF that I get that Covid shot I want a “Get out of mask free” card

If you lose your card then they next tattoo 666 on your forhead.

yeah I do not exist so cannot get a card. nullifying my vote makes me invisible.

This is all about control of an ungovernable populace. Our would-be lords and masters don’t like our ability to make decisions for ourselves.

Also, I have come across some warnings from people in a position to know that this vaccine works on a spike protein that is important in the human reproductive system. Speculation is that some people could be rendered sterile.

A more solid bit of information seems to be that the CCP has been playing around with vaccines that have bad reproductive side effects.

Our experiences with Chinese imports such as poisonous dog food and infant formula, as well as non-functional tests and shipments of fentanyl and other nefarious drugs show that Chinese quality control is, at best, suspect. I will not tolerate any importation of a Chinese “vaccine,” because we have no assurance that the contents of the injection will be as labelled, or that it will not have serious side effects.

Such a document has existed for decades, it’s the International Certificates of Vaccination, commonly called the “Yellow Card” (Google PHS-731). Mine shows my yellow fever, typhoid, polio, Hep A, Hep B, meningococcal meningitis, diphtheria and flu vaccinations. Some countries, especially those where yellow fever is prevalent, won’t let you in if your Yellow Card isn’t current.

“Look, I honestly do not understand why people choose not to get vaccines.”

You don’t? Well, let me enlighten you. Uncounted thousands of people are killed and permanently injured every year by vaccines. Big Pharma, their media friends, and paid-off politicians are not going to share that information with you. Did you also know that most vaccines do not work most of the time? The flu vaccine is nearly useless, and Big Pharma and the governments which push it relentlessly are well aware of that. Yet it kills and permanently injures thousands of people every year. Have you ever noticed that, when there is an outbreak of, say, measles, politicians and the media get apoplectic screaming about how it is because there are “ANTI-VAXXERS” out there endangering everyone? Well, after every one of those outbreaks, a few weeks later the information will be released to the media which, if they cover it at all, make it a small article on page 39, informing us that everyone, or nearly everyone, who came down with the measles had, in fact, already been inoculated. Vaccines are a scam – a very dangerous scam. As the father of two vaccine-injured sons, I am all too well aware of the dangers that vaccines pose.

If they’re uncounted, how do you know there are thousands?

chocopot in reply to Mike R. | December 4, 2020 at 3:02 pm

      https://www.hrsa.gov/vaccine-compensation/index.html

It is estimated that less than 10%, and possibly as few as 1%, of adverse vaccine reactions are ever reported, never mind compensated. So go right ahead and be one of the brainwashed sheep and let them inject you with an endless variety of toxic chemicals so Big Pharma can get richer. Bill Gates is being sued in the World Court by several countries for marketing toxic vaccines that have killed hundreds and sterilized thousands. You are a fool.
