Georgia Senate Candidate Warnock Laughs at Concealed Carrying Churchgoers

I suppose it also doesn’t matter that in both 2017 and 2019, there were shootings at two different Texas churches and the last was stopped by church members carrying firearms.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say this is probably not a good look for Warnock, who’s in a highly contested Senate runoff race in GEORGIA.

A video pushed out by the NRA shows Warnock mocking concealed carrying churchgoers:

But then again, this is the same guy that suggested the country repent for worshiping “whiteness” and defended the infamous Jeremiah Wright, so…

I suppose it also doesn’t matter that in both 2017 and 2019, there were shootings are two different Texas churches and the last was stopped by church members carrying firearms.

The question is not how voters will react to his idiocy. The question is, will the people counting the votes think the voters will react in a way requiring extra-special vote counting practices to counteract?

It literally doesnt matter what the Dem candidates say or do…the fix is in…they will both win fake elections and be installed just like Biden and no one with any power to fix will lift a finger

Before the election, I remember thinking the near comatose Biden*/Harris* campaign meant they either knew the fix was in and could therefore talk out of their butts with abandon, or, they knew they were going to get shellacked and were simply going through the motions.

We know now that it was the former. So what does it mean now when Warnock and Ossoff talk out their butts without reservation?

    It actually means both.

The sad thing is that Georgia is still using the Dominion voting machines for the runoff. Warnock is an idiot. He has insulted the veterans, police, teachers, white people, Hispanics, Asians, and blue collar workers. The only way he can win is if the “glitch” changes votes for him like it did for Biden.

In our time, blacks are the most rabid racists. They steal so much that major chains desert their neighborhoods. Then smaller stores open with sky high prices, and they hate those people. In fact, I have repeatedly heard many blacks express their distain towards every race, while at the same time demanding handouts.

I think that all people should be held to the same standards, time to hold blacks accountable, to end all handouts, to reevaluate competency for all affirmative enrollees and hires.

Time to hand out justice to those involved in persecuting others for daring to disagree.

    Time for a course correction.

Do these candidates not want to win?

It seems like the Dems might be throwing the Senate in order to have a scapegoat when all of their stupid policies fail.

“It’s not our fault. Those obstructionists in the Senate kept us from stealing enough money to make the plan work!”

Stupid Governor and SOS

Bisley in reply to gonzotx. | December 1, 2020 at 9:02 am

Not so much stupid as corrupt and self-serving. The Republican establishment wants rid of Trump, and they happily helped the Democrats steal the election for Biden. Now, they will have to overcome the system they helped build to try to get their own people elected — that is stupid.

The GOP needs to be destroyed, and replaced by a party that’s nationalist and conservative. One evil, corrupt and stupid party is quite enough, we surely don’t need two. Voters should have a choice that doesn’t include evil, corrupt and stupid.

GWB in reply to Bisley. | December 1, 2020 at 4:30 pm

Let’s call it nationalist and constitutionalist. There’s not a lot left to conserve these days.

Bisley in reply to GWB. | December 1, 2020 at 8:17 pm

You may have something there. With the corrupt, lawless and power hungry governments and courts of the last few hundred years, there’s hardly any of the Constitution left. It will have to be restored before it can be conserved.

Mmm, mmm, mmm, the content of their character.

Another arrogant dummy.

Our schools have been turning them out in greater numbers than factories were turning out bullets in WW2.

Was birth control available to his mother? Ah well, you cannot eliminate Satan.

He and Stacey would make a nice couple.

“there were shootings are two different Texas churches and the last was stopped by church members carrying firearms.”

Not clear how you measure “stopped.” Both of the shooters took victims before they were stopped, and both were apparently planning to take still more at the time they were stopped by lawful gun owners.

The critical difference being concealed carry. In Sutherland Springs it was a neighbor who heard the shooting and came out with his rifle to confront the shooter, but only after there were dozens of casualties. In the second case the shooter was taken out with a head shot mere seconds after he started his attack. Anyone who argues that concealed carry in church doesn’t save lives is an idiot or a gaslighting hack. Or maybe an idiotic gaslighting hack.

It’s not hard to understand “stopped” as in shot dead.

I was surprised by the downvotes. Apparently I was not clear. All I’m saying is that not just one but BOTH shooters were “stopped” by an armed civilian. The only difference is that one was stopped after doing more damage than the other one. And yeah, one was delayed and not right inside the church, but yet he still was available more promptly than any uniform was.

Milhouse in reply to henrybowman. | December 2, 2020 at 12:22 am

The point is that only one was stopped by an armed churchgoer. This Warnock clown’s claim was specifically that there was no need to carry in church. The shooter that was stopped by a neighbor isn’t proof against that. The one who was stopped by a parishioner is.

The Friendly Grizzly | December 1, 2020 at 8:16 am

This clown will prove every bit as “entertaining” as Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, and that woman from Florida with the cowboy hats.

There is a reason why certain portions of the population scoff at those who take steps to provide for their own protection. Some, such as criminals, want a defenseless society because it reduces their personal risk. Some view the need for personal protection as meaning they are not safe, in society, and therefor, they will be safe if people are not armed. Criminals love this group. Then we have the Elite. These people have the resources to provided for their own protection and have a vested interest disarming a population which they feel superior to and wish to dominate. So, the question for a potential elected official is, which group does Warnock belong to? None seem to be well suited to a job which would entail protecting the rest of society, though.

History tells us that the only reason why some in the government would want to disarm law-abiding Americans after 243 years is because they intend to do something to law-abiding Americans that would give law-abiding Americans a constitutionally-guaranteed, patriotic reason to shoot them.

And Stacey Abrams promised to ban “assault weapons” and lost by less than 55,000 votes. In GEORGIA.

Where not everyone is a lily white right wing extremist.

There has been a profound change in the demographics of the US, in the last 50 years. The liberal Democrat controlled cities have been steadily growing in population during that time, while the more rural areas have seen declining population. In some states, the urban areas actually control the state entirely due to their population advantage.

Georgia has been a schizophrenic state for decades. There have been two distinct Georgias for a long time; Atlanta and the rest of the state. Now, Atlanta has become a minority-majority city, in terms of population. One inhabited by a much more liberal population than much of the rest of the state.

I’m strongly opposed to Warnock and everything he stands for politically. I’ve even contributed to his opponent. However, he’s not laughing at those defending their fellow worshippers. He’s laughing at church politics. This is important as one of the primary things separating the right from the creepy, careerist left is intellectual integrity and the insistence of arguing issues, not merely engaging in propaganda or sophistry. Warnock opposes self-defense, even in churches. He would rather see church attendees dead than defending themselves. That’s the point that needs to be driven home.
