Murkowski will vote “YES” on Coney Barrett floor vote

Murkowski will vote “YES” on Coney Barrett floor vote

That leaves only Susan Collins as a possible Republican No if the vote gets to the floor on Monday.

Lisa Murkowski along with Susan Collins have opposed the Amy Coney Barrett nomination on the ground that it comes too close to the election.

Democrats have failed so far to slow the nomination as it moves towards a Monday floor vote.

Murkowski just announced that while she has procedural disagreements with the timing of the vote, if the vote gets to the floor, she will vote yes.

Remember, Murkowski voted against Kavanaugh.

That leaves only Susan Collins among Republicans possibly opposting Barrett in a floor vote.

Fuck you, you fucking fuck!

Vote yes and then fuck right off and just join the Democrat party formally already.

I can’t see how Collins can vote no. She can abstain, vote no on Cloture. But to vote NO on someone so clearly qualified would be an act of depravity for a Republican.

Hard to argue your point! Not that I would want to…..but just sayin’. She’d be full on on no-ones land if she voted no.

Well said. Some free advice to Senator Collins. You can virtue signal to the Maine Democrats by voting no on Cloture. However, voting no on ACB’s actual appointment will burn your Republican bridges and not buy you any more Democrat support than a no on Cloture.

What an opportunist. They should call her Lisa “Both Ways.” Cynical.

The Empress Dowager of the North Wasteland stoops to pet the unwashed with her bejewelled handclaws.

REEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Well, I am certain this was a very difficult decision for my sorry excuse of a Republican Senator.
She and Collins hold us hostage on every single Senate vote that is close.
That is their only power.

This may sound overly optimistic but, will any Democrats step out of line and vote to confirm?

    That is verbooten.

    Manchin?

Manchin did vote “yes” for Kavanaugh.

IMO Barrett is at least as well qualified. However, relating to the “severability” discussion at her hearings, I predict that she will vote to uphold Obamacare and the Dem’s garbage on that subject was all BS. What the Dems really hate and could not say is that she neutralizes Roberts and makes it a 5-4 court, versus the phony 6-3 the Dems talk about. That is critical for the election, as Roberts is supporting the Dems “blue wall of voter fraud” in PA.

Manchin was given PERMISSION to vote for Kavanaugh when it was confirmed his vote no longer mattered. He had an election to win.

His permission to vote against impeachment was instantly revoked the second Mitch ‘The Bitch’ Romney announced he was giving them the coveted ‘bipartisan’ cover for their crap.

None of the Democrats will cross the line, and we’re going to hear the tagline of ‘bipartisan opposition’ to ACB.

Kyrsten Sinema is at least appearing to be somewhat objective. She did meet with Barrett one on one. She’s been a maverick in the past, so if I had to pick one Dem Senator to cross over, it’d be her.

That’s a good question. Are there any other Democratic senators who actually met with her one on one? Which ones?

A little birdie whispered in her ear and said, “You would have to be pretty fricking stupid to vote against Amy Coney Barrett.”

I sincerely hope that Sarah Palin runs against her in 2022.

Barrett was confirmed to the US 7th circuit court of appeals by a vote of 55-43 on October 30, 2017.

That included Murkoski’s and Collins’ vote.

Murkoski stood up. Now, it’s your turn, Collins.

The Left Hates Amy Barrett because she disproves all their Lies about Women.

Good for her. Judge soon to be Justice Barrett has already been vetted and she is eminently qualified. Pro-Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. All American.

Murkowski is bad news. We’ve got to help dump this rino.

Don’t count on Mittens’s vote until he casts it. You can trust Mitt to be exactly what he is, and to act accordingly.

Thanks for nothing, Murkowski is worthless.
