Cuomo ‘Not That Confident’ in FDA, Thinks Americans are ‘Very Skeptical’ About COVID-19 Vaccine

TDS is deadly.

Do you need more proof that Trump Derangement Syndrome has broken the left?

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo admitted he doesn’t trust the FDA and CDC process to approve a COVID-19 vaccine. He also thinks Americans are “very skeptical” about a COVID-19 vaccine.

Thanks for speaking for me, Cuomo, from your mansion in your warped little world.

But no, I am not skeptical of a vaccine approved under Trump’s administration. No one around me has doubts either. In fact, people around me cannot wait to have a vaccine!

How about the other vaccines approved under Trump’s FDA? Cuomo said:

“I’m not that confident, but my opinion doesn’t matter. I don’t believe the American people are that confident,” Cuomo said Monday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “I think it’s going to be a very skeptical American public about taking the vaccine, and they should be.”

The governor said both the FDA and CDC “don’t have any credibility” under the Trump administration and that as a result others will need to vouch for a vaccine for people to have trust in it.

“I believe all across the country you’re going to need someone other than this FDA and this CDC saying it’s safe,” he said.

It’s almost like they don’t want us to have a vaccine. After all, that means they have to give up more control over us lowly human beings. Cannot have that, can we?!

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) also expressed doubts about a vaccine.

Biden said he doesn’t trust Trump. He will only take a COVID-19 vaccine “if the body of scientists” confirms it is ready.

Harris declared during the vice presidential debate that she will not take the COVID-19 vaccine if Trump tells her to have it. It has to come from public health professionals.

First of all, if you get medicine or a vaccine because a president or any politician tells you to get one, I cannot take you seriously.

How about these politicians encourage people to talk to their own doctor about any vaccine or medicine? You know, a doctor that actually knows you and your medical history.

How about these politicians say that they will get a vaccine based on their doctor’s advice?

Who takes advice on medicine from politicians?! Even if the said politician is a doctor why would you? I don’t know about you, but I only trust my doctors (I have so many due to numerous health problems.)

Anyway.

Cuomo received praise at the beginning of the pandemic, including from me, because he appeared to be calm and collected without the fear-mongering.

It did not last long mainly because he forced nursing homes to admit COVID-19 patients. The death toll and infection rates skyrocketed among those in nursing homes. Cuomo did not reverse his decision until he could not deny the facts. However, he refuses to take the blame.

The lack of self-awareness continues to show because he penned a book to boast about the excellent way he handled the COVID-19 pandemic in his state. Oh, I forgot to mention that scientists believe New York City is Ground Zero for the pandemic.

New Yorkers have not forgotten Cuomo’s disregard for the safety and health of those most vulnerable to COVID-19:

A silver casket was wheeled to the front of a Brooklyn nursing home Sunday — and 6,500 copies of the cover of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s new book were dumped into it in protest of his COVID-19 policies.

The number of covers was equal to the roughly 6,500 people who have been reported killed by the coronavirus in nursing homes in the state — although the ralliers said they believe the figure is much higher.

“My mother-in-law got COVID in an elder-care facility but died in a hospital, [so] her number does not count’’ in New York’s nursing-home tally, said Janice Dean, a meteorologist for TV’s “Fox & Friends’’ who was among the roughly 50 protesters outside the Cobble Hill Health Center.

Cuomo finally admitted his administration could have handled it better, but basically said the elderly and vulnerable would get sick no matter what:

“But can anyone say that a virus that targets the weak and the seniors, [that] we can keep them safe? Nobody can say that,’’ he said.

“But can anyone say that a virus that targets the weak and the seniors, [that] we can keep them safe? Nobody can say that,’’ he said.

But we can try to keep them safe, and Cuomo seems to have tried to kill them instead.

If Trump were pro-vaccine, Cuomo would be against it. If Trump were anti-vaccine, Cuomo would be for it. Since Trump isn’t forcing anyone and just wants to make it available, Cuomo doesn’t know which way to jump so he just generally blathers.

I wouldn’t feel safe in New Dork State.

“Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity,” Napoleon supposedly said. It’s good advice.

But I find myself wondering: What if I were a totally amoral person, working with other totally amoral people, to incite widespread panic by juicing the death counts of a serious but not extraordinary disease? I might send disease carriers into places where I knew that residents were more prone to infection and more likely to die.

If it were provable (in court) that I had done it intentionally, I do not know what legal consequences would follow. It seems similar to Keith Ellison’s suppression of bodycam videos that would have prevented rioting and killing in the wake of George Floyd’s death from a Fentanyl overdose.

“Keith Ellison’s suppression of bodycam videos that would have prevented rioting and killing…”

Ellison couldn’t wait to release it.

Not so. The full body cam videos with audio were not released for quite a while and they tell a very different story from the bystander video. In brief, the bystander video started long after the police had been dealing with George Floyd, and included a lot of chatter trying to create “facts on the ground,” similar to the Mike Brown case.

The body cam shows a very patient set of police officers, a George Floyd who ate some of his wares, and who ran through every line in the book, trying to get free. It was one thing after another, and by the time he got to “I can’t breathe,” a common fake among criminal arrestees, they may have mistaken it for just one more line.

Absent from the body cam video and audio is evidence of malice by the police officers. They were not emotional, and they were not trying to harm him, or even harass him, much less use excessive force.

Nobody who cannot breathe screams “I can’t breathe”. Not an asthmatic, not someone with pneumonia, not someone who has pulmonary disease, nobody.

If your lungs are filled with fluid, or your chest muscles weak from whatever, you lack the ability to draw in enough air to scream. You, in fact, can barely talk.

So how come I know this, even candy stripers know this, every EMT and policeman knows this- if you are hooting and hollering, and thrashing about bitching on top of your lungs, there is nothing wrong with your breathing. Even veteran newsmen know this too, but they’re not admitting it here. Fentanyl, of course, changed that fast.

A hack and a mass-murderer.

Nice.

So . . . Cuomo’s an Anti-Vaxer.

Lockdown, masks, don’t take the vaccine, masks forever!
Never had a flu shot but thinking might a Covid-19 shot.
Heard a doctor on radio ( yes well known) talking about herd immunity that needs to reach 70% to end this either getting it and becoming immune, ( no one knows yet like President Trump how long that lasts) or vaccination.

While Cuomo is an idiot, I agree that jumping on the COVID bandwagon at the beginning is not such a good idea.

What are talking about is a virus, akin to influenza, which produces symptoms in only maximum of 30% of those exposed. It is fatal in less than 1/10 of 1% of those exposed. And, fatalities almost always occur in patients with significant comorbidities and of advanced age. Not exactly an apocalyptic disease. And, vaccines always have unwanted side effects, some drastic. These side effects are usually identified after prolonged testing and, sometimes, even general use. So, rushing to approve a vaccine is usually not a good idea.

People have been sold the idea that vaccines are harmless, in themselves and that they provide protection for virtually everyone from various diseases safely. Neither is true. So, a person has to understand the true danger posed by the disease as well as the nature and likelihood of serious adverse reactions to the vaccine. They have to have data on which to base an informed decision. Unfortunately, most people never acquire such data and instead rely upon advertisements and the advice of doctors, many of whom base their recommendation solely upon the sales pitch of pharmaceutical salesmen.

In the case of a COVID vaccine, I would be very, very skeptical of the benefits, or necessity of receiving, any vaccne at this time.

Exactly. You don’t have to be an “anti-vaxxer” to see there are potentially dangerous consequences to vaccines, especially ones that are rushed to market.

Some of the covid vaccines being testing are RNA vaccines. Vaccine manufacturers want a successful RNA vaccine because, unlike DNA vaccines, they wouldn’t be ineffective against variant strains like DNA vaccines are. That’s why the flu vaccine only works against a few specific strains of the flu.

No RNA vaccine has ever been approved, because all of them trigger autoimmune disorders, in as many as 50% of test subjects. I fear a rush to approval could let one through.

yeah I’m skeptical… but I’m not an at risk demographic. Those with one foot in the grave ought to give it some thought though.

“Biden said he doesn’t trust Trump. He will only take a COVID-19 vaccine “if the body of scientists” confirms it is ready.”

Trump does not pretend to be a vaccine scientist. He will follow the advice of his medical team.

I’m skeptical, but not because of Trump. My local newspaper reported that the polio vaccine in Africa is a success because there hasn’t been a wild polio virus outbreak in 4 years. A teeny bit of research turned up the continuing polio outbreaks caused by the vaccine.

Bill Gates is heavily involved in both the polio, and the COVID-19 viruses, along with Dr. Fauci. And the press is covering up for perverse results from the polio vaccine.

If there are problems with a Gates-sponsored COVID-19 vaccine, will the press also cover up for its poor results, too? I have no basis to be confident in our normal checks and balances, because our press is dishonest right now.

Dr. Fauci gained and lost my respect 35 years ago when he toured the country touting an AIDS vaccine.

Instead, he and the drug companies went for treatment, costing thousands of dollars a month for every HIV positive person, at enormous profit to the pharmaceutical firms, a bonanza to hospitals and clinics specializing in HIV and now, taxpayer “PrEP” where people injest these cocktails costing a few grand so they can go out and have unprotected sex.

Fauci could have kept focused on the vaccine, AIDS could have been a footnote, everyone at even a tiny risk could have gotten a shot or two. But he didn’t. What makes him an authority now?

The case for mass vaccination gets weaker every day. Much more is known about Coronavirus than doctors and (real) scientists knew 6 months ago. Just suppose some well-respected scientist put all the facts together and compiled a list of truths and lies, and let everyone see for themselves.

-They’d see that although leftie rags go on and on about 200,000 deaths, there were only a tiny fraction that died from the virus alone. Like ‘regular flu’, it pushed already weak, sick, diabetic, elderly, whatever, people over the edge.

-They’d see that the same leftie rags have substituted ‘positive covid tests’ with “cases”. A case is a new case of significant clinical illness, accompanied by a positive test. The Orthodox Jews lord Cuomo is chasing around in Brooklyn do NOT have positive covid cases. But then again, he’s a moron.

-They’d see that nearly all the measures put in place by governors in consultation with ‘experts’ don’t do all that much. Explain how article after article show people with positive tests wore masks ‘all the time’.

We could go on and on, as the Great Barrington folks have pointed out. A vaccine that could protect people who are exposed to coronavirus from dying, or ending up in an ICU, well this might be just fine for grandma. Most of us, who if we were to get a positive test would have a 97+ percent survival rate, might just not need it. Make it, calming the public is worth it alone, but not everyone needs to rush out and take it. Just a thought!

Americans are more confident with any Corona virus vaccine than they are in the honesty or ability to govern of Andrew Cuonmo (brother of Fredo).

Speaks the man from Planned Parent.

Which one? Vaccine 1.0, which primes the immune system. Or vaccine 2.0, cloned antibodies? Perhaps the full Planned Pathogen protocol, which includes a cellular border guard (e.g. HCQ), a prophylactic (Zn) in the cell to progress pathogen viability, and an anti-inflammatory, antibiotic (e.g. Az) to clear the sidewalks, so to speak.
