Rioters struck Louisville and other cities for the second night of violence and mayhem after the Breonna Taylor grand jury decision.

Louisville

The police arrested 24 people Thursday night, including Kentucky State Rep. Attica Scott. She authored the “Breonna’s Law” legislation:

Scott, a Democrat from Louisville, and others were arrested near the main branch of the Louisville Free Public Library and First Unitarian Church at the intersection of South Fourth and York streets, according to Tracy Dotson, a spokesman for the union representing Louisville Metro Corrections.

Scott and her daughter, Ashanti, were charged with first-degree rioting, a Class D felony, failure to disperse and unlawful assembly, according to LMPD.

LMPD is accusing Scott of being part of a group that caused damage at multiple locations, including setting fire to the main library branch. A WDRB News crew covering the protest saw one individual smash a library window and throw a flare inside the building. Protesters walking nearby condemned the individual’s actions.

Some rioters and protesters took refuge at First Unitarian Church. Church leaders and the police came to a deal that the people could leave without facing arrest for violating curfew.

The police department said rioters looted six businesses: Buddy’s Home Furnishings, two Gamestop locations, two Walgreens locations, and T-Mobile.

The department also opened arson and vandalism probes.

Los Angeles

A truck sped through a crowd of people in Los Angeles, injuring one person, before speeding away.

But reports either didn’t say or buried the fact that the mob swarmed the truck.

The L.A. riots in 1992 showed why you never give into the mob.

Seattle

From Seattle PI:

That rolling demonstration continued for about an hour until the crowd made its way back to the police station near Cal Anderson Park. That’s when people started throwing things against the building.

Trash cans and rubbish were piled up and set on fire. Protesters then started igniting fireworks. Police could be heard on a public address system ordering the crowd to disperse, then a line of bicycle officers charged in, followed by officers on foot in riot gear.

Protesters retreated up 12th Avenue, and more explosions could be heard, possibly from police deploying blast balls or other crowd control munitions.

The shooting will start, or in some cases has started but will increase, very soon. I don’t think the public will put up with the cops arresting those defending themselves.

I can think of no outcome which would have satisfied these people and prevented the riots.

I think this is bad optics for Trump
Most people don’t understand why he hasn’t declared Marshall law in these cities

Declare martial law right before an election???You must be a hardcore Biden supporter.

      A Biden supporter

      That all you got?

Trump clearly says he’s for law and order but we are bombarded with daily riots

I’m saying that many people are scared and questioning why he hasn’t used all the power he has to stop this

      Apparently he’s waiting until 11/4

Martial law is what the leftists have been wanting Good President Trump to do from the start…..

To Who? I doubt he in losing any vote over it. My guess is the Dems are though.

That’s sad wishful thinking on your part, bless your heart… Basically these rioters are very effective GOTV for Trump…even the Dems/media are realizing it.

I’ve been here a long time, and I don’t wish for a Biden win but I hear everyday people voice concerns and in reality, despite the law, the buck stops at President Trumps desk.

That’s how a lot of people see it

        gonzo,

Trump is wise to avoid jumping on the tar baby of invoking the insurrection act. At the moment he is offering Governors and Mayors support with personnel and material. Once he commits to invoke the Insurrection Act everything good and bad belongs to him.

The blue Governors and Mayors want him to take the responsibility because they can then blame him and not themselves for the mess they have created.

These are, and remain, local matters. No officials have asked for help.

Local authority can control these disturbances . . . but won’t.

Local policy decisions are not something to be casually overturned by federal authority without going through some tedious “due process”.

Local failure is not automatically a federal issue, or PDJT’s problem. If he intervenes then he can be blamed for the riots, and government failure to contain the riots, and anything else some activist can throw on the list.

And in the end, “martial law” is military law; the military has to control an area before talk of martial law makes any sense.

Let them burn their cities down. I’m sorry for the few innocents that live there. Vote for marxists, you get marxists.

This will stop when the rioters start taking lead.

This is why people are leaving those places.

The Great Conservative Migration And What It Means For The Future

Authored by Brandon Smith via Alt-Market.com,

The signs really began to become visible at the end of January, 2020; there was an exodus of people brewing, and it was galvanizing fears on both sides of the political spectrum. The pandemic situation is cited by the mainstream media as the primary cause, but in reality the migration had started at least 3 years earlier. Americans were leaving certain states and cities behind by the tens of thousands, and these places were predominantly leftist in their policies and population. California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Connecticut, etc.; all of these progressive states were bleeding residents since 2017, the pandemic just accelerated the situation.

There are a number of reasons given for the dramatic shift in population, but two specific reasons stand above the rest: Economy and political ideals. The pandemic itself is only a minor motivator. Consider the fact that residents of California left the state in droves for Texas over the summer DESPITE the problem of Covid infection spikes in major metropolitan areas of the Lone Star State. People didn’t care, they just wanted to get the hell out of California as quickly as possible.

Again, a main reason given by former Californians was politics. They are conservatives or moderates that felt isolated or trapped in a far-left cesspool and they realized their future life prospects depended on them transplanting to a more free and less bureaucratic place.

The fear among conservatives was that the pandemic would smoke leftists out of their hives and that they would spread to more conservative areas and “take over”. This does not seem to be the case. In fact, it appears that most leftists are stubbornly refusing to acknowledge that their states are dying and are actively defending state policies on the web. Check out the angry and delusional comments from California progressives on this opinion article in Arizona telling them to leave their failed policies behind if they move to the state.

These people are suffering from some serious saltiness, and the fact they they are still trying to claim that states like California are economically stable shows how truly delusional they are. Conservative states have nothing to worry about – The lefties are too dumb to relocate. They’re going to sit within the rotting corpses of the states they killed and pretend it smells like roses. This is what they do; when they are wrong or when they have failed they double and triple down. It’s their defining characteristic.

In my state of Montana real estate purchases have surged over the past year. Recent data on school enrollment numbers are up 15% – 20% in cities like Missoula…….

Lots more of this article at:

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/great-conservative-migration-and-what-it-means-future

“In my state of Montana real estate purchases have surged over the past year. Recent data on school enrollment numbers are up 15% – 20% in cities like Missoula…….”

    Do you live in BozeAngeles?

“They’re going to sit within the rotting corpses of the states they killed and pretend it smells like roses.”

    I hope you are right.

The problem is that they’re not all conservative – in fact, it would appear that the majority are just leftists escaping their own politics. My little county has gone from 9-1 Republican to only about 2-1 over the past 20 years, and they keep flooding in. Despite the claims of the last dozen or so Republicans conservatives non-leftists remaining in California, this doesn’t reflect an influx of refugee conservatives.

Unfortunately the left may leave the violence but they have been bringing their politics

It’s still Leftist run cities burning and mostly (can’t think of one anyway) under Democrat governors.

Subotai Bahadur | September 25, 2020 at 2:44 pm

A formerly American polity run by Democrats or those further Left for 10+ years [which is how it becomes “formerly”] = violent street riots with impunity anytime the Left is offended or disagreed with.

Subotai Bahadur

If I were to fire one .45 through my driver’s side window to remove a rioter who is trying to break in, how much integrity would remain in the window if it is being banged on with a skateboard?

If it were safe to open the window before firing, that would be a better course, but that would not be safe with multiple rioters pounding on the window.

I wish MythBusters would work this out!

Sorry, is this a serious technical question? It does have a serious technical answer but it’s not worth typing if it’s not a serious question.

The non-lawyer serious answer to the question: If you are in the driver’s seat and a mob is trying to break into your vehicle, shooting one of them through the closed driver’s side window is a sub-optimal decision which will get you charged. Hitting the gas and driving away is your best option, regardless of rioters climbing on your hood. Inertia will carry them over the top of the car and deposit them gently on the ground behind you, providing entertainment for their fellow rioters. In the event a solid object such as another car is directly in front of you, shift the vehicle into reverse and move at a safe rate of speed backwards until you have enough space in front of you to change lanes and exit the area. Try to pick an area with a minimum of rioters and avoid hitting motorcycles or bikes if possible, because they can become lodged underneath the undercarriage. The same goes for rioters, because we should at least be reasonably concerned for their health, and striking them too hard while exiting the area of your assault is frowned upon by law-enforcement agencies. Still, avoid becoming another Reginald Denny at any cost, even if it costs hood dents.

Unfortunately, still 44% approve of these mostly “peaceful “ protests

That’s how dumb people are and that’s why Inthink Trump will get blamed in the end

September 25, 2020
AP Poll: Americans Are Done With the “Mostly Peaceful Protests”
—Ace

Support for the ” ” ” ” protests ” ” ” ” has fallen 15%, and approval is now below disapproval.

The poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that 44% of Americans disapprove of protests in response to police violence against Black Americans, while 39% approve. In June, 54% approved. The new survey was conducted Sept. 11-14, before Wednesday’s announcement that a lone Louisville police officer would be charged in the Taylor case, but not for her actual death.
I’m

Can we get pictures of these people? If I ever get back into the restaurant business I want to make sure I don’t hire them.
