CDC Abruptly Removes Coronavirus Airborne Transmission Guidance; Says ‘Draft’ Posted in Error

Meanwhile, Sweden’s public health team seem to be getting the policies right.

While the COVID19 pandemic faded from the headlines with the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, there have certainly been some developments.

For example, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said posted guidance saying the coronavirus spreads through airborne particles that can remain suspended in the air and travel beyond 6 feet which indicated a substantial increase in the risk of human-to-human transmission.

It also said that airborne transmission can occur during choir practice, in restaurants, or fitness classes. The draft stated that indoor places with poor ventilation are thought to raise the risk of infection.

Apparently, a ‘draft’ was put up on the website ‘in error”.

“A draft version of proposed changes to these recommendations was posted in error to the agency’s official website. CDC is currently updating its recommendations regarding airborne transmission of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). Once this process has been completed, the updated language will be posted,” as written on the website, and emailed to Fox News by Jason McDonald on the CDC media team.

All of the previously published language in the “draft version” on Friday regarding airborne transmission was removed from the webpage before noon on Monday.

The updated page now says the virus is “thought to spread mainly from person-to-person” from close contact and “respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks.”

This misstep is one of several in recent weeks related to the CDC and its group of “experts.”

The CDC caused alarm last August when it released guidance suggesting people didn’t necessarily need to get tested for the virus even if they were exposed. The agency last week walked that back and returned to its guidance from earlier in the summer that anyone who has been exposed needs to be tested.

Part of the issue may be the #Resist arm of the bureaucracy is pushing back on data, studies, and professional analysis indicating that the coronavirus is less infectious than the “experts” would have us believe.

A growing body of research suggests that a significant number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in the U.S. — perhaps as many as 9 out of every 10 — may not be infectious at all, with much of the country’s testing equipment possibly picking up mere fragments of the disease rather than full-blown infections.

Confirmed cases of the disease have been the focal point of public health authorities and governments worldwide for many months, with countries across the globe working frantically to shore up their testing infrastructure and ensure that most citizens who want a COVID-19 test can obtain one with relative ease.

Many politicians, meanwhile — including most state governors in the U.S. — have tied reopening policies to the number of cases detected in the local community, with regions and localities often being permitted to reopen in staggered “phases” only when they have reached successively lower benchmarks of average new daily cases in the area.

Furthermore, European lockdown models were being heralded as the gold standard of response by the “experts,” with the sole hold-out of Sweden (which made a minimal response). However, much of Europe is experiencing a second wave that Sweden is not.

When most of Europe locked down their populations early in the pandemic by closing schools, restaurants, gyms and even borders, Swedes kept enjoying many freedoms.

The relatively low-key strategy captured the world’s attention, but at the same time it coincided with a per capita death rate that was much higher than in other Nordic countries.

Now, as infection numbers surge again in much of Europe, the country of 10 million people has some of the lowest numbers of new coronavirus cases — and only 14 virus patients in intensive care.

I would strongly urge President Donald Trump to confer with the Swedish public health experts, as that model seems to be working out better.

I would strongly urge President Donald Trump to confer with the Swedish public health experts, as that model seems to be working out better.

There is precedent of sorts for him doing so. A recently deceased Supreme Court Justice sought guidance in foreign law; no reason PDJT can’t seek guidance from foreign agencies.

/For Dusty Pitts: did I get the scowl right in my new avatar?

The CDC is a fully owned subsidiary of the DNC.

DNC…WHO…neither cares for what’s best for America.

What difference at this point does it make?

Now correct your idiocy, lying and malpractice about hydroxychloroquine, before you kill more thousands.

    HCQ, the border guard, Zn the scalpel, and AZ to douse the inflamed “protestors” in a Planned Pathogen protocol. And close Planned Parent, a foreseeable bad choice through cross-contamination of men and women at greatest risk for infection and disease progression.

The CDC is a highly political organization, as is every other government agency on the planet. As such, much of its “scientific” positioning is heavily influenced by internal bias. And, these agencies do not reflect the aims of the current President. They are composed almost entirely by people installed by leadership sharing the ideology of previous Presidents, all of whom were far more liberal.

So, the vast majority of the CDC wants to continue the oppressive COVID restrictions. It wants to push a political agenda as being science-based. But, as the populous becomes more COVID savvy, it is having a hard time doing that and still maintain any credibility. What to do? Float a trial balloon to gauge both popular reaction, media reaction and the reaction of senior administration officials. So, a new claim that COVID is airborne, rather than the largely proven aerosol mode of transmission, is floated on a Friday, where no real action will result from its release, but, which will still generate the desired reaction from the targeted groups.

Now, why the claim of airborne transmission? Because, if the virus is transmitted as free floating viral packets, on the air, rather than piggy backing on aerosol water droplets, this would justify closing all schools as well as continuing or re-instituting draconian lock downs of businesses and other venues, including polling places. The hype surrounding covid and the draconian response to it is a total political scam. It always has been. If it continues much longer, no one will be able to wear a lab coat on the street without being chased down and hung from a lamp post. You can either be a scientist or a political shill. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Ahhhh…

So the AIRBORNE guidance was a DRAFT??

And “Science” blew it away on the winds of a closer examination?

Innnnnteresting…

Based on the spread in diverse geographic regions (e.g. hot and humid), the spread in nominally distanced spaces (e.g. cruise ship, multi-unit structures), and the spikes following implementation of restrictive mandates, they mischaracterized the primary transmission mode, which is likely to be contact (e.g. fecal). The epidemiology follows the same evolution in disparate jurisdictions.

The masks do not restrict aerosols, have limited utility to block droplets, and may be counterproductive in general use to control contact. Physically distance when symptomatic (e.g. coughing, sneezing). Wash your hands, especially after contact with black holes… whores h/t NAACP.

Not soon or good enough. Every media outlet, paper and digital, have led out with how Covid can be transmitted via air. Even our State put out an alert on the “Up Date”. Who do you trust..Not CDC and not your State’s DOH. Collusion to keep everyone confined to “down on the farm”.

Hmmmmm…… Anyone else see this?

The US govt last week updated the survival rates (i.e., IF infected) for Covid19: 0-19 99.997% 20-49 99.98% 50-69 99.5% 70+ 94.6% Didn’t see it reported much.

Please stop pretending that it is possible to compare.

Things which must be taken into account when comparing countries or states in terms of their success in minimizing the effects of COVID-19:
* Population density
* % Black population (higher mortality)
* Average age
* Island (or nearly an island)
* Cultural norms of conformity
* Strong states vs. Federal govt.
* Vitamin D exposure
* HCQ use
* When they got first infection
* How open the borders
* How seniors are cared for
* Sex rates and number of partners
* Fake news effect
* Privacy limits
* Data credibility
* Lying about contact tracing
* Which “type” of coronavirus dominated
* Comorbidities
* Population distribution
* Transportation mechanisms
* Average BMI
And of course you have to wait until the end of the coronavirus everywhere to know how a country performed overall. Infections are likely to return to most places that have it under control.
