Biden-Harris ClusterFrack – First They Were For Fracking Ban, Then Polls Shifted, Now They Are Against Ban

Yet they still peddle the false hope of green energy jobs as an alternative to energy industry jobs.

In March, Joe Biden infamously said in a DNC debate, “No new fracking.”  Observers thought this meant . . . well, no new fracking.  This month, as his poll numbers took a nosedive, Biden claims that he will not ban fracking.

This claim, however, is absurd given his embrace of the Green New Deal.  As is stated on his campaign website, under the heading, “The Biden Plan for a Clean Energy Revolution and Environmental Justice.”  I kid you not, that’s the page heading (archive link).

Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework for meeting the climate challenges we face. It powerfully captures two basic truths, which are at the core of his plan: (1) the United States urgently needs to embrace greater ambition on an epic scale to meet the scope of this challenge, and (2) our environment and our economy are completely and totally connected.

Neither the Green New Deal nor “environmental justice,” of course, include fracking.  This is why fervent Green New Dealers like Bernie Sanders insist on a ban on fracking, including joining NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in introducing a bill to do just that.

Biden also stated last year that coal and fracking would be “eliminated” if he wins.  He just doesn’t want “flyover” voters to fully comprehend this before the election.

He’s not alone, his running-mate, Kamala Harris has also reversed herself on fracking (for now, anyway).

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Sunday reversed her support for a ban on fracking, a policy position she held through her failed 2020 presidential campaign.

Harris said on CNN’s State of the Union that she would support her running mate Joe Biden’s recent commitment to not ban fracking, saying that it provides “good-paying jobs in places like Pennsylvania.”

The candidate also said a Biden-Harris administration would “put a significant investment in the good-paying union jobs that we can create around clean energy,” calling any decision between job creation and environmental protection a “false choice.”

Harris endorsed a fracking ban during her 2020 run, stressing its dangers to the environment, and was an early cosponsor of the Green New Deal. As California’s attorney general, she sued the Obama administration for permitting fracking off the Pacific Coast.

In the coming months, we’ll be seeing a lot more of Biden-Harris flip-flopping, pandering to various voters, and outright lying about their true positions on a range of issues from “ending our gun violence epidemic” to “setting up regional food systems” throughout rural America.

Er, fracking!

Searching for the lie that works today.

They’ll say anything, do anything, and sell themselves to anyone.

They are fact-fluid. AND THAT’S A FAT!

IF Biden only plans on being president for a day, resigning and abdicating to Kamala on 1/21/2021, then he AND she can lie with abandon. Notice she didn’t say that SHE wouldn’t ban it, but that she supports Biden who said he will not ban it. She supports him as long as he’s president (1/20/2021) and when she takes over on 1/21, she bans it and says it was Biden’s policy, not hers.

Gotta remember – this is the party who lies saying “it depends on what the meaning of is is”.

Put the question to her: “If Biden resigns and you take over, will YOU ban fracking?”

    Way too convoluted.

Why would they need to jump through hoops to make their campaign promises technically true, when they can just laugh at the people who thought they meant it.

“It was a debate!” after all.

Has she had any work done on her wattle? She should check with Joe’s plastic surgeon for a tune-up or a nip, tuck and tug.

An important woman wants to look her best for a fresh facial.

Don’t believe them for a second, fracking would be gone so quick if they were elected your head would spin.

You won’t be able to complain about anything they do should America go full stupid. They’ve been on every side of every issue so they can always say they were for/against it before they against/for it.

Those are my principles, and if you don’t like them… well, I have others.

Groucho Marx

Is there anyone who believes a woman who started her political career on kneepads, has principles? Anyone…anyone…

Didn’t think so.

It’s the great truth.

Both Democrats and Republicans lie to get elected, they just lie in different ways.

Democrats promise they WON’T do things to get elected, then do them.

Republicans promise they WILL do things to get elected, then DON’T do them.

I have felt for a while that a Trump ad could be effective, showing the Biden contrasting positions and concluding with ….
“If you vote for Biden, how do you know which Biden will show up? With me, I have not changed my positions and am working for you 24/7 delivering on my promises.”

They want a zero-carbon farming sector. I guess that’s the end of cattle, because cows do fart.

I love this: “The candidate [called] any decision between job creation and environmental protection a ‘false choice.’”

If an honest reporter existed (I know, an impossibilty), he or she would therefore ask KAH-muh-luh: “So this means that ‘Having your cake’ and ‘Eating it too’ is also a ‘false choice’, yes?”

My position is unchanged. It is the same as the last person I talked to.

As far as the Trump TV ads are concerned, they are for it

Anybody that thinks green energy is the answer should just look to CA. Our utility is telling us to not use any power between 3-9 PM because the grid is overloaded. This warning has been issued several times this HOT summer in the SF Bay Area. So it is grilling for us and laundry at 6AM 🙁

Look to Germany as well. Their green energy crusade has foundered on high costs and low output, to the extent they are importing wood pellets from the US to burn for energy.

Liberal Playbook: I was against it before I was for it unless I was for it before I was against it.

Well, vile Biden and Harris wouldn’t be authentic Dhimmi-crat apparatchiks, if they weren’t LYING about changing their political positions, conveniently when the polls are telling them that, while their radical, insane, prosperity and job-killing platform might play well in the cushy salons of San Francisco, Los Angeles, NYC and D.C., it doesn’t play well with men and women trying to earn a decent living and provide for their families.

Why would any rational person in his/her right mind believe that these greasy, self-serving, mendacious, power-hungry idiots have suddenly (and, expediently) renounced the very Dhimmi-crat orthodoxies with regard to which their fanatical base of radical zealots, demand total fealty? You’d have to be a moron to buy this line.

Joe Biden: “If you can mine coal, you can learn to program.” Dumbest remark ever. Writing code is like learning a new language and be fluent in it. Then you have to be an expert in the program you are writing code for.

Does anyone at all believe Biden is ‘for’ or ‘against’ anything, except sniffing little girls of course
