2020 Democratic presidential hopeful former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg has hired many people to say nice things about him on social media.
Supporters of President Donald Trump do this for free, which has given the world some of the funniest videos.
This is the latest one and I dare you not to laugh.

Um, no. Nobody “fact-checked” whether there were actual crickets. Obviously there weren’t. The fact-check was over whether the other candidates were actually stunned into silence by Bloomberg’s question, as the ad implies (hint: they weren’t). The comparison here is to Katie Couric’s infamous fraudulent video in which she is shown asking the pro-gun people a question, and instead of showing their answer the editor spliced in a different clip in which they were sitting silently. (There is a big difference, though: The pro-gun people did answer Couric’s question; the D candidates didn’t answer Bloomberg’s question, they just changed the subject.)
The Trump ad with Pelosi is not like this. Of course she didn’t spend an hour tearing the speech; everyone can see that it’s the same clip repeated several times. The point of the Trump ad is that these were the words she tore up. And that is perfectly true.

If he really wants to put himself over the top, he’s gotta, just gotta,get the most famous social influencer of them all, Elle Darby.
A rich man’s version of “please clap”.
Bloomberg is tone deaf. He has surrounded himself with yes men and while most people tend to keep people who agree with them around, Bloomberg wouldn’t stand any straying from his line.
This created the bubble world he, and most of the left, occupies.
He is left with lame billboards (did you see MiniMike put up a billboard about how Trump likes his steak?) and trying to polish the turd that has been his political record.
The thing about polishing turds is they are still turds, and the harder you have to rub to polish them, the more foul they smell.
Bloomberg might have done well with numerous business, but he is very beholden the China. And while success in business isn’t luck, there are aspects that are lucky. I think MiniMike is a success despite himself, as he seems to think he is an aristocratic genius who knows how you should live your live better than you. You would be hard pressed to remove the smell of the turd from that.
True, all that.
Bloomberg reminds me of that old saying.

I wouldn’t fret too much. It’s pretty obvious what Mini is trying to do, even the public can see. The options are i) he drops out and tries to prop up an equally unpopular candidate, or he stays in and loses in the biggest, hugest, most historic landslide in the history of falling rocks.
