Palestinian Leadership Plans to Foil President Trump’s Peace Plan by Inciting Mass Protests

Palestinian leadership has a “clear and unwavering position” to reject President Trump’s peace proposal, says spokesman for Palestinian Authority president Abbas.

Never missing an opportunity to miss an opportunity, Palestinian leadership has decided to thwart U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace plan by inciting mass protests, media reports suggest. “Palestinian officials warned over the weekend that US President Donald Trump’s plan for Mideast peace, which is expected to be announced on Tuesday, would spark a new wave of mass protests in the West Bank and Gaza Strip,” the Jerusalem Post reported.

Even before the details of the peace deal are made public, the Palestinian Authority has emphatically rejected the U.S. initiative. The Palestinian leadership has a “clear and unwavering position” to reject President Trump’s peace proposal, declared a spokesman for the President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.

The UK’s Sky News reported the Palestinian unrest that began after the Friday’s Islamic prayers:

Tensions spiked in Jerusalem as Donald Trump stated the contents for his “deal of the century” will be released by Tuesday.

Israeli security forces have clashed with Palestinian worshippers as they arrived at Friday prayers at Jerusalem’s Al Aqsa mosque.

Palestinian leaders had, last week, called for mass attendance at dawn prayers at holy sites in Jerusalem as well as throughout the West Bank and Gaza.

But tensions spiked around the mosque, which is located in Jerusalem’s old city on what Israel calls Temple Mount, as news leaked on Thursday night of the contents of Donald Trump’s “peace plan” for the region.

The American president has indicated that his long-awaited plan for peace between the Israelis and Palestinians will be released before Tuesday next week.

President Trump has offered a wide-scale economic and developmental plan to get Palestinians to work with him on the peace initiative.  In July 2019, the White House proposed a $50 billion economic plan. The ten-year plan seeks to create millions of jobs for Arabs living in the region. “I’m sure they maybe will act negatively at first, but it’s actually very positive for them. But they have a lot of incentive to do it,” he said on Thursday.

The U.S. president is expected to release his Middle East peace plan by Tuesday. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the opposition leader Benny Gantz will be at the White House on Tuesday to discuss the proposal.

Washington’s peace initiative has been received positively on the Israeli side. “An opportunity such as this comes once in history and cannot be missed,”Prime Minister Netanyahu said on Saturday. “Today, we have in the White House the greatest friend that Israel has ever had; therefore, we have the greatest opportunity that we have ever had.”

Support for the Trump peace plan cuts across party lines in Israel. “Trump’s peace plan is one thing most Israelis will agree on,” the Bloomberg columnist Eli Lake noted on Friday. “Few things can bring together Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the leader of Israel’s main opposition party, Benny Gantz. President Donald Trump’s long-awaited peace plan is one of them,” he added.

While Israelis welcomed the prospect of peace offered by the Trump plan, the Palestinian leadership is responding to the proposal with the usual outpouring of rage and violence. Their position, in fact, has remained unchanged since the Arab leaders issued their infamous “Three Nos” at the summit in Khartoum (Sudan) to the Israeli peace offer of 1967: “No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with it.”

True to character, PLO chief Yasser Arafat rejected the Camp David peace offer in 2000 in which Israelis had agreed to 90 percent of the Palestinian demands, unleashing instead the bloody Second Intifada, a campaign of terror and suicide bombings that killed over a thousand Israeli civilians and maimed thousands more.

From the days of the British Mandate, Israel has agreed to almost every single peace proposal tabled by the world powers of the day.

Now would be a time for the Palestinians to show some good faith for a change. With President Trump’s peace plan on its way, the ball is once again in their court. For sense to prevail and peace to return to the region, Palestinians must rid themselves of their vicious and corrupt leadership.

Why does every president think he can solve the Middle East, when everyone before him has failed? Why do they keep proposing “peace” plans to people who prefer strife?

Mr. IRV, President Trump is merely affording the jihadist idiots ANOTHER golden opportunity to put-up or shut-up. They reject massive economic rehabilitation in favor of hatred for anyone who offers reasonable/peaceful solutions to their self-destruction, thus ensuring more misery for the folks under their control. Don’t expect the pali’s to act any differently than the dem fools in our own country.

There is no possibility of any peace plan being accepted, never has been, and won’t be as long as the present Palestinian leadership keeps control. Fatah (the PA) and Hamas (Gaza) are terrorists. Their hold on power depends on keeping their public incited against Israel, and maintaining support for the “struggle” to take back everything “from the river to the sea”. Peace with Israel would destroy their basis for existing, condemn them as traitors in the eyes of their propagandized population, and put them out of business. They don’t want peace, they want power.

the Paleostinians are never going to agree with any “peace plan” that does not contain the destruction of Israel and the Jewish people as a integral part.

you cannot negotiate with 7th Century barbarians who want to kill you.

a corollary to that is that you put rabid dogs down, not take them into your home and try socializing them.

The only peace plan which will work is a no charge 95% population reduction plan. We most certainly should not be flushing any more money into the palestinian cesspool.

“Even before the details of the peace deal are made public, the Palestinian Authority has emphatically rejected the U.S. initiative. ”

Well, of course they did… The scorpion cannot change its nature

Infantile jackboots following their totalitarian, supremacist and belligerent ideology of hate, “Submission.”

But, of course, the failure to achieve peace must be blamed on the Jews, for having the gall to resist and defend themselves against Arab Muslims’ perpetual hostility, jihadist imperatives and genocidal aspirations.

Perhaps, if the Jews begin flying airplanes into buildings, taking hostages and beheading them, driving trucks into crowds of pedestrians, gang-raping women, and, murdering critical writers, filmmakers and artists, then, they’ll finally be as popular among Leftist dhimmis and Dhimmi-crats, as Muslims currently are.

If hatred and spite have gotten them an offer of many billions of dollars, on top of the other billions dumped into the region in the past, why would they change?

Fine. Let them reject it, even without seeing it. Then when the fur flies after the next Iranian poke of the tiger, they will have to face the fact that they had a chance to avoid all that will happen, but took a pass.

They will blame everyone else, but down deep they will finally get an idea of how badly they f**ked up.

I wonder at what point Israel and the USA will finally realize that no peace with the Arabs is possible. Arabs living in regions to be annexed will have to be relocated to Arab countries.

Uh, dumb question, cats: What exactly is the damned plan, anyway?!

if the sun rises in the east there will be violent protests by moon god worshipers.

Anytime I hear of one of these peace plans it reminds me of Slick Willy offering Arafat anything he wanted and more. Arafat’s response was NO. Tells you what a plans up against

If any of these proposed “peace plans” involving Israel mention a period of 7 years, get ready for the Rapture:

Daniel 9:20-27 [NKJV] —

“20 Now while I was speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God, 21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, ‘O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. 23 At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision’:

24 ‘Seventy weeks are determined
For your people and for your holy city,
To finish the transgression,
To make an end of sins,
To make reconciliation for iniquity,
To bring in everlasting righteousness,
To seal up vision and prophecy,
And to anoint the Most Holy.

25 ‘Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

26 ‘And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.’ ”

Just another glaringly obvious move that the Palestinians don’t want peace. They want to conquer, using sympathy for their impotence.

Only one side of our country is gullible enough for that, and many of them are starting to wake up.

Dear Pres. Trump: It takes two to tussle; it also takes two to make peace. If the PA doesn’t want to take advantage of your administration’s proposals for peace, don’t waste anymore US tax dollars on them.

There is no plan these terrorists want, except to completely destroy Israel and all the Jews. Negotiations with savages are silly.

It is not in American interests to support genocidal bigots. It should be American policy to exterminate same, as is expedient. Start with Abbas and the rest of the PLO/Fartah terrorists.

Send all that money to the Kurds in Northern Iraq. I’m sure they will be more than happy (and grateful) to take it.

The Palestinians are a truly tiresome, unsympathetic crowd. Other than a bunch of preening activists in Western universities, does anyone with any sincerity give a flying shit about these unwavering perpetual victims?

The Middle East will be peaceful when they’ve all killed everyone in the Middle East, and not a moment sooner. Kudos for trying, but don’t waste too much political capital on a guaranteed losing venture.

The PLO is a one trick pony or is it a jackass??
