Fireworks!

Six Democratic presidential hopefuls take the stage at Drake University in Des Moines, IA.

It begins at 9 pm EST on CNN.

CNN won’t livestream it on YouTube, but you can stream it on its website.

Steyer wants to claim a state of emergency on climate on his first day.

FREE CHILDCARE.

Uh, is Bloomberg okay?

Sanders really thinks Medicare for All will solve all the problems!

Not good for Klobuchar. Also…her eyebrows.

Warren fired back:

Bernie adamantly denies saying a woman cannot be president.

Uh, excellent reason to vote for Steyer.

Warren can’t get over her obsession with industries.

Klobuchar wants to concentrate on Iran

They’re trying to make themselves seem as more anti-war than the others.

The handshake between Warren and Sanders!

The candidates who qualified:

  • Former Vice President Joe Biden
  • Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg
  • Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
  • Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
  • Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
  • Billionaire Tom Steyer

Biden leads in national polls, but the latest Iowa poll has him in fourth place. Sanders has the lead at 20% with Warren in second at 17%. Buttigieg is barely behind her at 16%.

But despite being in first and second place, fireworks may explode between Warren and Sanders after the sexism fight on Monday.

Warren claimed Sanders told her in 2018 a woman could not win the presidency.

Sanders denied the claim, calling it “ludicrous.”

We covered the fight between Warren and Sanders:

Social issues that the majority of Americans do not care about took over the majority of the previous debates. However, the killing of Iran terrorist Qassem Soleimani may force these people to address foreign policy.

Impeachment might come up since the trial should start next week. On Wednesday, the House will vote to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

Must shield my eyes…so bright…so white!

Couldn’t get anyone to replace Soleimani, eh?

Klobuchar in it for the money? What’s she polling 3%?
Time to leave the stage to the other fascists amy.

And don’t forget even Perez is calling the democrats in the party racist.

DNC Chairman Tom Perez: It’s Voters’ Fault the Debate Stage Lacks Diversity

According to Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez, voters are responsible for who lands on the stage. And it’s voters’ fault that the stage lacks any diversity.

“We’ve set forth a clear set of transparent, inclusive rules,” Perez said during an interview on MSNBC. “We set those rules out in advance. And it’s for the voters to decide.”

Just tuned in. What’s with klobuchar’s eyebrows?

Politburo meeting to decide who will be the Chairman of the Communist Party.

Medicare for All ends all premiums.
Medicare for All ends all deductibles.
Medicare for All ends all co-pays.

If “Medicare for All” is anything like current Medicare, then all three of these statements are dead false.

We really don’t care…

Warren was really going for the firm, vigorous, manly handshake.

Holy shit you guys missed the keynote line of the night.

They asked Bernie if he’s denying he told Warren that a woman couldn’t win.

Answer: That is correct

LITERALLY TURN TO WARREN

CNN: Sen Warren, what did you think when Sen. Sanders told you a woman could not win the election?”

I mean holy shit, you’re just going to let Bernie basically call her a liar, and just pretend he said it!?!?!?

The hackery is REAL. I mean I said months ago they weren’t going to allow Bernie to win the primary, but I didn’t think it would be THIS bad.

Does environmental fascist Steyer plan to start a war Day 1 against China and India, or just against American citizens?

“Medicare for All ends all healthcare.”

I wouldn’t go that far: I’m sure quality healthcare would still be available to those who can pay princely sums for it, and for the well-connected (such as members of Congress).

But “Medicare for All” would surely end Medicare, as Medicare is based on the assumption that everyone (other than Medicaid) will pay more for everything than Medicare pays. Paying current Medicare rates for everyone would require an extreme contraction of the U.S. healthcare system, as the current system could not come close to paying its bills on everyone-pays-Medicare-reimbursement rates.

Which is why those currently receiving Medicare could and should be mobilized to oppose this, for it is they who have the most to lose.

And that’s even before pointing out the obvious, that Medicare presently includes premiums, deductibles, and co-pays. And, umm, is it really necessary to point out that one purpose of deductibles and co-pays is to prevent over-utilization (because people invariable over-utilize anything that’s absolutely free)?
