Pelosi Barks at Reporter: ‘Don’t Mess With Me When it Comes to Words Like’ Hate

Trump responds: “She says she ‘prays for the President.’ I don’t believe her, not even close.”

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi lost her cool this morning after Sinclair reporter James Rosen asked her if she hates President Donald Trump.

She also confronted him, leaving the podium to wag her finger at him.

From The New York Post:

“Do you hate the president, Ms. Speaker?” the reporter, James Rosen from the conservative Sinclair Broadcast Group, asked during Pelosi’s weekly press briefing at the Capitol.

“I don’t hate anybody. We don’t hate anybody. Not anybody in the world. Don’t accuse me,” she said, leaving the podium to approach Rosen and pointing at him as she spoke.

He then interrupted her, saying he was asking about a charge from a GOP lawmaker during the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment hearing Wednesday that Democrats wanted Trump gone only because they didn’t like him.

“I did not accuse you. I asked you a question. Rep. [Doug] Collins yesterday suggested that the Democrats are doing this simply because you don’t like the guy. I think it is an important point,” he said, referring to the Georgia lawmaker, a fervent Trump backer.

Pelosi then walked back to the podium and continued to lecture Rosen.

The pro-choice Democrat then invoked her Catholic faith:

“As a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate in a sentence that addresses me. I don’t hate anyone. I was raised in a way that is a heart full of love and always pray for the president. And I still pray for the president. And I pray for the president all the time, so don’t mess with me when it comes to words like that,” she said.

Trump mocked Pelosi on Twitter:

To be fair, I’m not sure if TDS is hate, more like a borderline psychosis…

Rosen hit a nerve. Comrade Nancy was off guard.

Nancy is so full of hate – her entire life I believe – there are many it is a legit questions that should be asked.

“Nancy Pelosi didn’t get where she did without major political connections. Her father and brother made it to being Mayor of Baltimore. When Nancy talks about “cleaning the swamp” she could have been talking about her ethically challenged family. Her brother was charged with rape. Her father :

ran for Governor of Maryland in 1954, but was forced to drop out due to being implicated in receiving undeclared money from Dominic Piracci, a parking garage owner convicted of fraud, conspiracy, and conspiracy to obstruct justice

If you think this is just old news, check out her husband. Paul Pelosi is being sued:

California’s sports and political worlds are colliding through the dormant United Football League franchise in Sacramento, with several coaches and employees suing owner Paul Pelosi – the millionaire husband of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-San Francisco – claiming he failed to pay them after promising to do so.

Five employees of the Sacramento Mountain Lions – including former Raiders defensive coordinator Chuck Bresnahan, who held the same position there – say Paul Pelosi, a real-estate investor and businessman, owes them $250,000, according to the suit filed this month in San Francisco Superior Court.

That would seem like pocket change to Pelosi. He and his wife, the top Democrat in the House, are worth $26 million, according to federal financial disclosure statements. Their investments range from real estate around the Bay Area to their vineyard and home in St. Helena.

      https://nalert.blogspot.com/2013/11/nancy-pelosis-family-and-their.html

“If you’re taking flak, you’re over the target.”

Hopefully, the MSM starts to see that they can get “clicks” by actually providing two-sided coverage.

Mess with that crazy a-hole. Mess with her till she explodes.

IMO, she actually did have a private conversation where she said she hated Trump.
She’s been raked over the coals about her previous ramblings; Trump being an ‘impostor’ etc., so she believes the conversation was leaked and the question was another ‘gotcha’.
She’s sensitive on the point that she’s probably been repeatedly told that her big mouth is making the case that the impeachment being is nothing more than personal partisan politics is gaining traction.
So, she went ballistic in high indignation, which no one believed anyway.

These people are not used to being challenged. They’ve been coddled by an adoring press for so long that they can not handle any adversarial questions from a free media. joe biden was challenged by a farmer in Iowa. joe’s response? Got super angry, called the guy “jack,” challenged him to a pushup contest, called him “fat,” and said the farmer was too old to vote for joe. Impeachment is blowing up the democrat party, they can’t handle the pressure.

White pantsuit privilege: If Trump did this, he’d be the fascist looking to slaughter the paladins of the pens.

My how are we the little people not to question her leadership. I swear we are watching her deal with the devil fall apart.

OK. How about “loathe, detest, despise, etc.”

Oh, and how about Romans 13? How does that square with your “prayerful” faith?

13 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. 7 Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Any Catholic who supports abortion is at odds with the religion they claim to represent. She should be denied Holy Communion from every priest on the face of the Earth. There is no way to square abortion with the traditional teachings of the Church, and she damn well knows it.

A real Catholic would say, “OK, Roe is the law of the land but that doesn’t mean that I cannot work to change that.”

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to Kevin. | December 6, 2019 at 9:44 am

While I agree with you I highly doubt that would make a big impression on a Cafeteria Catholic like Pelosi as I highly doubt she even attends Mass. If she did there would be too much of a chance of people confronting her with the hard questions like, “You claim to be a Catholic but support unlimited and unregulated abortions. What’s up with that.”. And of course, being a Cafeteria Catholic she wouldn’t be able to give a coherent answer to that question.

And I’m sure you were all about Romans 13 for the eight years of Obama.

By the way, being an elected member of congress, she is as much an ‘authority instituted by God’ as Trump is, so be sure to give her the proper honor and respect due her office as well.

We don’t like her or Obama, but we didn’t try to pull off a coup.

        coolway in reply to Toad-O. | December 5, 2019 at 5:47 pm

Impeachment is a constitutional process to provide accountability to the executive branch. No coup.

          Nice try Pinocchio.

          Correct.
So, too, are due process and innocent until proven guilty.
          Surely, you remember that?

Impeachment is a constitutional process to provide accountability to the executive branch. No coup.

Yes coup. Impeachment, when used for purely political purposes under the guise of “accountability” is a misuse of the process and a blatant attempt to side step the election and to install a president of democrats choice.

Democrats can’t win a fair election so they will replace the president by any means necessary to maintain their power. That’s a coup in my books despite the democrats protestations to the contrary.

re: Obama and Romans 13 …

Perhaps I have an uncommon view of politics and faith. By following the higher standards of the Father, I do not run afoul of the laws of men. For example, abortion is legal, but neither my wife nor I would ever seek one. Likewise pot but I’d never smoke it. It matters little whomever is in charge if I follow Christ. What that proves I believe, is the governments of men are put in place for those who reject the rule of the Father.

As for Obama and being ordained by God? I figure he’s what the nation deserved at the time – Christians and conservatives seemed indifferent or just slept through those elections. They woke up in 2016 and are more informed and engaged now than they have been in a long time. That I suspect is what Pelosi and her ilk fear the most.

About that, I’m reminded of what Christ said about the church – He said that the “gates of hell would not prevail against it”. If the church is at the “gates” then the church is on the march against the hordes of hell and they have retreated and closed the gates behind them to keep the church out.

Obama was a necessary wake-up call. How I hope and pray the time is at hand for overcoming all those who have worked evil. I really am tired of all their lying, wickedness and witchcraft.

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to coolway. | December 6, 2019 at 9:23 am

I certainly didn’t like Obama. But I didn’t attempt to corrupt the Electoral College. I didn’t go and assault democrats. I didn’t throw noxious substances in the faces of those that didn’t agree with me. I didn’t silence those that supported Obama that spoke publicly in front of audiences. I didn’t declare a “Resistance” against the legally elected president of the United States. I didn’t threaten Obama with treason and the death penalty. I didn’t attack the First Lady. I didn’t attack his children. I didn’t invent insane Russian conspiracies to explain the Republican loss. I didn’t spend three plus years attempting to find something, anything to use in a bogus impeachment process to remove the legally elected president solely because I didn’t like him. I didn’t invent insane Ukrainian “quid pro quo” conspiracies. I didn’t confront and harass Obama appointees in public places like restaurants. I didn’t advocate the violent overthrow of the federal government. I didn’t . . . . should I go on?

I certainly didn’t like Obama. And I made that perfectly clear to people. But I realized that he was the duly and legally elected President. And that was the end of it. Unlike the mentally unhinged democrats that have never forgiven Trump for winning the election against “that woman”.

I will respect the office of the Speaker of the House. But I will never respect the current holder of that office.

Leftists are so brittle.

Find the weak spot. Then fire away.

I believe she prays to Satan for negative events to happen to Trump.

All this from a woman who says she prays for President Trump and is a good Catholic.

160 lbs of vomit in a pant suit.

Oh, I believe she prays for Trump. It’s who she prays to and what she prays for that I question.

2smartforlibs | December 5, 2019 at 3:21 pm

From open borders to baby killing to Trump this woman is all about HATE.

I’m sure she also doesn’t hate the millions of victims of abortion, which her faith considers sinful but she supports with every vote she casts in the House and ever ruling she makes from the Speaker’s chair.

I look forward to the video mashups sure to follow that mix her words here with her vile words in front of Leftist audiences where she cannot spit bile fast enough for them.

Let there be no doubt. The Left hates Trump. They hate his hair, they hate his wife, (wives), his children, his businesses, his tweets, the air that he breathes, and the shadow he casts upon the ground. They want to see him dead, in jail, bankrupted by fines, exiled to the moon, or all of the above. And yet… he took the job, he continues to *do* the job, and I sincerely hope he will do the job until January 2025 when he passes it to President Pence. Never thought I’d say that back in Nov. 2016.

God bless him.

The word “hate” is probably inappropriate in this context: I’d use something more like “disgust.” Trump’s crudeness and outsized personality does seem to cause some to react to him with disgust.

Nonetheless, whether it’s hate or disgust, the question “Democrats wanted Trump gone only because they didn’t like him” remains a very good question, for much of the opposition to Trump appears to be based on a visceral dislike of the man, yet that inevitably raises the question of whether an emotional response to a President you just really, really don’t like is the prime mover driving this impeachment drama.

And that Pelosi et al can only deny. For if they did not, they’d have to come right out and claim that “I don’t like that man!” is (and should be) sufficient grounds on which to impeach an American president.

I’m offended she threw the Catholic card. Isn’t she supposed to be pro life?????

Lucifer Morningstar in reply to Yamamma. | December 6, 2019 at 9:49 am

Sure. That’s her claim. But in reality she is a Cafeteria Catholic who thinks that she can pick and chose what doctrine to believe. And unfortunately, the church hierarchy has a tendency to ignore the blatant hypocrisy of people like Pelosi and don’t call them out on their views.

Only right-wingers hate. The Left is full of love and compassion. And Islam is the religion of peace.

“As a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate in a sentence that addresses me.”

As an advocate of abortion, you may claim only that you are a failed Catholic.

Nothing wrong with disliking a president or his policies. What’s interesting is derangement, when you become so overwhelmed with feelings that you act against your own interests.

As an ex-Catholic with 13 years of Catholic education including four of Jesuits, I never observed any lack of hate around the Church. Didn’t Hitler grow up Catholic? Perhaps he’s somebody Nancy can emulate. It certainly looks that way lately.

The old girl is off her meds—and off her rocker. She should be tucked into bed with a glass of warm milk and a plate of cookies.

Democrats are the Party of Hate, but don’t admit it because they are also the Party of Lies.

Bark? Nay, bray.

And never a whisper by the media that President Trump takes not a penny for doing this savage job.
The cost has been so high for himself and his family
He donates every penny to charity, every penny. Pretty sure the insane facists never Publicize this, they don’t want any positive vibes out there for him
Obama and Clinton were always looking to squeeze millions from the post, Trump has lost millions, by the time he is done, probably billions in his private holdings that he worked to create his entire life
Well I can say hate
I hate these pieces of sh!t…

“As a Catholic, I resent your using the word hate”. I am a fervent abortion advocate, but killing unborn babies is not hate.

Just keep the Grey Goose flowing!
