Hillary: “I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about” running

“I will certainly tell you, I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it.”

For months, Hillary has refused to rule out the possibility of running for president. Again.

Tuesday, on BBC Radio 5, Hillary again hinted at the possibility of a third presidential run then said it’s not in her plans at, “this moment.”

From Politico:

“I, as I say, never, never, never say never,” the former secretary of State said on BBC Radio 5 Live. “I will certainly tell you, I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it.”

“But as of this moment, sitting here in this studio talking to you, that is absolutely not in my plans,” Clinton added.

Story Continued Below

Whereas in previous election cycles the field narrowed as the primaries approached, 2020 is different: Democrats continue to join, indicating an unsettled and broadening race less than three months before the Iowa caucuses and as polls reflect shifting support for top-tier candidates.

Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire former mayor of New York, filed for the Alabama primary a day before the deadline last week — possibly in preparation for a full-blown presidential bid. Former Gov. Deval Patrick Massachusetts has expressed interest in announcing his candidacy as early as this week.

Could Clinton be next?

Reporters have doggedly asked that question on nearly every media appearance she’s made promoting a book, “The Book of Gutsy Women,” co-authored with her daughter, Chelsea Clinton.

She has alluded to the possibility multiple times, including in a Twitter exchange in which she quipped back at President Donald Trump, who had urged “Crooked Hillary” to enter the race to edge out “Uber Left” Elizabeth Warren.

“Don’t tempt me,” she responded. “Do your job.”

Clear as mud.

No one wants Hillary to run. No one. See our previous coverage:

    Good one.

“I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it”

    I don’t believe that for a second.

Mostly Republicans. I’d believe that, both in the ones who want Trump to win, and the ones who want Trump to lose.

JusticeDelivered in reply to fscarn. | November 13, 2019 at 9:32 am

More likely is that she is under pressure to NOT run because she is a loser.

They’re mostly dead people, whom she contacts via her Ouija Board. People like Eleanor Roosevelt, and Sir Edmund Hillary. It’s unclear what sort of “pressure” such people could exert on her, but I think it’s safe to say that they themselves are immune to any pressure Hillary might wish to exert.

bank accounts must be getting low…

you’d think having her ass handed to her once would be enough.

Twice. The loss of the nomination to Obama must have been as humiliating as losing to Trump.

But not nearly as humiliating as losing to Trump twice.

OnTheLeftCoast | November 12, 2019 at 7:27 pm

The number of voices urging her to run must be Legion.

Delusional.

Why is everyone laughing? How is she any worse than Liawatha, Knee Pads, Weekend at Bernies, CooCoo Crazy Bloomberg, Green behind the ears Alfred E. Newman. Is Spartacus still in? What a clown show.

I thought Gabbard was going to be it, bravely taking on the establishment in a roll out scripted by the establishment. But she’s now she’s like a house that’s been sitting on the market too long AND her spat with Clinton was so vitriolic that it can’t be repaired and thus made no sense. So unless they plan to throw Clinton under the bus and drive back and forth over her I think it will be Clinton.

And why not Clinton? She still has the machine and the globalists love her. She’s an equal opportunity shyster willing to sell off American to anyone and everyone for pennies on the dollar. She’s likely the one who fed the story of Biden’s corruption to Politico where it first came out. A few weeks of gushing on The View and late night talk shows and tears of joy from Rachel and Chris and the Democrats will accept that she’s their best hope.

“I thought Gabbard was going to be it…”

We noticed. We also told you no way.

It will not be Clinton either.

No way to tell what comes out of this show. It’s best just to point and laugh.

elle in reply to Barry. | November 13, 2019 at 9:38 am

Don’t get too cocky about Gabbard as this isn’t over yet. It’s a chess game and it’s fluid. I do think her recent outburst against Clinton (combined with her siding against her re Bernie) was fatal as the soccer mom pearl clutchers have too much invested in their self-righteous psyches to admit that what Gabbard said about Clinton being corrupt was true and they were complicit in defending it for so long.

As for Clinton, I did not say she would win. I said she is running. The delicious fact is that she IS their best option. If you don’t agree, tell me who is not an equally ridiculous choice?

Barry in reply to elle. | November 13, 2019 at 3:15 pm

It’s over for Gabbard, as it never was. I’ll remain cocky on that.

        “And why not Clinton?”

I responded to that with my statement. She may jump in, but she’ll have a hard time winning the nomination – Bernie/Biden/Warren are not going to yield.

“If you don’t agree, tell me who is not an equally ridiculous choice?”

I think they’re all ridiculous. That’s why this is entertainment. When they finally select someone I’ll get serious. I have no idea who it will be, or even if it will be someone currently running.

elle in reply to Barry. | November 14, 2019 at 3:07 am

“It’s over for Gabbard” Maybe. If you are right, I’ll happily tip LI’s tip jar in your honor out of joy.

At this point, I have no idea what they intend to do. I think the DNC is in the middle of a civil war between the Obama/Muslim faction and the Hillary/Globalist faction.

I will say that I never in my wildest dreams factored into the equation that Hillary would run again or that Gabbard would be stupid enough to call Clinton the “queen of warmongers” and “the embodiment of corruption”, alienating millions of voters she needs to win. In order for that to be effective, they would have to throw Hillary under the bus and ride back and forth over the top of her. I can see them doing that to Biden, but not Hillary.

I still maintain you are underestimating Clinton’s machine. The voters may not like her, but the globalists do.

Barry in reply to Barry. | November 15, 2019 at 10:46 am

Oh, I don’t underestimate the Clinton machine. It’s very difficult to know the outcome of a corrupt machine operating within the confines of a deeply corrupt party of communists.

My only point, Biden/Bernie/Warren are not just going to step aside.

As for Gabbard, she polls at the very bottom. There is no there, there. It’s not impossible, just near impossible.

For one, she’s got more felonies under her belt than the entire population of Sing Sing.

Hi Elle, Did you see the half dozen articles on Brietbart earlier in the week about Tulsi? Some were exclusive to Brietbart – in particular:

    https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/11/07/tulsi-gabbard-cancel-culture-disservice-country/

    https://www.breitbart.com/immigration/2019/11/07/tulsi-gabbard-to-breitbart-news-we-do-not-have-a-nation-if-we-do-not-have-borders/

The articles were all grouped together when I saw them – she was dressed in a RED blazer and espousing typical Republican / conservative positions. It startled me some – a ‘check in my spirit’ if you will. I don’t think Tulsi would ever be the nominee – but I did wonder if perhaps she’s tag-teaming with Hillary. If she ran as a 3rd party candidate and HRC got the nomination, might Tulsi siphon off enough anti-Hillary votes for HRC to squeak by DJT?

Hillary is prepping the battle space. Today NPR’s Terry Gross interviewed Andrew Marantz, a Clinton apparatchik and New Yorker staff propagandist. They spent a good deal of time talking down Clinton’s alcohol and her health problems. And they put a bow on the conversation by noting how anyone who thinks Clinton has health issues is a far-right Nazi sympathizer.

Often when Clinton has a health crisis her staff report that Hillary was just dehydrated. The following is a howler:

“The real issue is chronic dehydration, exacerbated by her lung problem and Clinton’s reluctance to drink water, which has become a source of tension with her staff.

“She won’t drink water, and you try telling Hillary Clinton she has to drink water,” said a person in her orbit — who described a frenzied rehydration mission that included multiple bottles of water and Gatorade. [Politico] “

OK, call me a far-right Nazi sympathizer … but I’ve seen videos of Hillary doing the latest dance craze … the “bop and drop”.

Hillary won’t drink water … because she really wants vodka or gin … clear like water, just better tasting.

Paul in reply to Tiki. | November 12, 2019 at 8:45 pm

Too much water and her Depends swell up which causes her pantsuit to bulge out. Then she REALLY looks like a pear.

Let’s cut through the fog a second. Hillary Clinton shows the classic signs of Parkinson’s Disease.

Hillary 2020 battle space prep:

Politico calls its own news Fake News:

Today Politico retracted an article from 2017 which stated that Clinton was behind the Ukrainian effort to interfere in the 2016 US election.

https://www.politico.com/news/2019/11/08/ukraine-interfere-elections-testimony-068095

There are many, many, many people who pumped many, many, many $$$ into her ‘charity’, and they’d still like to see a return on that money.

Other than that group, eh, not many, many, many people care to see her run.

The sentence, “I will certainly tell you, I’m under enormous pressure from many, many, many people to think about it.” is ambiguous. It could mean people are pressuring her to run, or it could mean she wants to run but people are pressuring her to reconsider that idea because it’s crazy.

She’s Running.

The giveaway is that she’s got a book out right now & she’s done all the things that candidates do before they announce a run.

What she means is that people are putting a lot of pressure on her NOT to run.

You also speak to the dead…

She is not going to run. She just misses the spot light.

I have so many questions about these people…

1. Are they Clinton Foundation donors still hoping their investment might turn out to be worth something?

2. Are they Trump supporters?

3. Are they actually just messages from 2016 from Wisconsin Democrats which she is just now reading?

Of course she is under enormous pressure to get back in the game.

Hillary and Bubba took hundreds of millions of dollars of corrupt money.

The donors want quid for their quo.

This is just part of the run up to declaring. She wants to pretend to have been drafted, running for the sake of the country.

No one on Earth will believe it except Hillary herself, but that’s good enough for government work.

If that bitch runs again, will she at least change her name to Stassen?

Are any of these people pressuring Hillary to run again Democrats?

Hillary: Just a flesh wound! (kicking Trump again)
Trump: Look, STOP that!
Hillary: Chicken!!! Chicken!!!!!!!
Trump: Look, I’ll have your leg!
(Hillary continues her kicking)
Trump: RIGHT! (He chops off Hillarys leg with his sword)
Hillary: (hopping) Right! I’ll do you for that!
Trump: You’ll *WHAT*?
Hillary: Come ‘ere!
Trump: (tiring of this What’re you going to do, bleed on me?
Hillary: I’m *INVINCIBLE*!!!
Trump: You’re a looney….
Hillary: Hillary Rodham Clinton ALWAYS TRIUMPHS! Have at you!!
(hopping around, trying to kick Trump with her one remaining
leg)

The pressure group is; Bill, Chelsea, Uma and if allowed to vote as a felon, Carlos Danger.

Heh. I doubt Bill wants to go through that again; he knows how to win it better than she ever will, but she won’t listen. She didn’t listen last time, and dollars to donuts, she wouldn’t listen this time.

Whoever’s going to get in will need to do so pretty quick to meet primary and caucus deadlines, so we’ll know soon enough. Unless her fantasy world includes some crazy convention stunt . . . and I guess it could.

Subotai Bahadur | November 13, 2019 at 12:10 am

I still give better than 50% chance that she will be installed as the candidate by the DNC POLITBURO and Superdelegates after a “deadlock” and thus be able to forego the entire primary process. Democrat voters, like their Communist idols, have no voice in policy or candidates/officials. They will do as they are told.

Subotai Bahadur

The only pressure this POS has is around her ankles.

There may be a few crooks who want their bribes back, but as usual, the POS is deluded.

The bullet America dodged by virtue of the heroism of Donald Trump is greater than any atomic bomb.

Hillary Clinton belongs at the end of a rope. Every POS who facilitated her treason belongs at the end of a rope. Every POS who stands in the way of her or them dangling at the end of a rope belongs at the end of a rope

Translation: Democrats are in an absolute panic because NONE of their candidates are viable.

Somebody grab Hildegard, she is off her meds and playing “A Beautiful Mind” the home game again.

Comanche Voter | November 13, 2019 at 8:14 am

The enormous pressure she feels is really just gas in the Democrat Party lower intestine. She’s waiting to be excreted to relieve the pressure. Get enough Super Delegate votes and she’s right out there.

As others have commented on Witchy-Poo’s ‘people urging her to run’, if she is breathing, she’ll run. We’ll be suffering from her’s and Vince’s spawn until 2080.

“Hillary, w ehear you’re thinking of getting into the 2020 race. Well, THINK AGAIN.”

Quite honestly I don’t think that Hillary talking about running for President is automatically about running.

Hillary has learned painfully that once she isn’t a candidate for President and Presidential power isn’t going to be possibly running through her not even hardcore Democrat will pay her any attention.

Without the threat of being in the race Hillary isn’t a player and part of the conversation.

Notice how we all have to hear what she thinks again when there is a possibility of her running.

would suggest the ” enormous pressure ” she’s describing as coming from many ” contributors “(including soros, of course)to the clinton foundation who’ve delivered an ultimatum: ” get yourself elected or pay-up! “–and not necessarily in coin of the realm
