If Hillary doesn’t like you then you’re a Russian agent.

Russia, Russia, Russia!

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed Russia is “grooming” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) to be a spoiler in the election.

Instead of gaining support, Hillary has become a laughingstock. Gabbard’s 2020 opponents even came to her defense against the once-beloved Democrat.

Here is what Hillary said:

Doing a podcast with David Plouffe, a former adviser to President Barack Obama, she insisted that Putin is “grooming” a Democrat for a third-party run next year.

“I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s the favorite of the Russians,” Clinton raved.

She plainly meant Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, as Plouffe said. Never mind that Gabbard ruled out any third-party bid on CNN in August — or that she’s a veteran who put her life on the line for this country.

Pete Buttigieg

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg faced questions about the spat between Gabbard and Clinton on the Sunday morning shows. His answers could also show why he has gained more attention in the latest polls.

Instead of talking about the fight, Buttigieg wanted to focus on the issues Americans actually care about. From The Hill:

Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Ind., told Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press” that he did not want to “get in the middle of” the battle over Clinton’s comments.

But when Todd asked if he was comfortable with Clinton’s critique of Gabbard, Buttigieg said, “No, I’m not.”

“I’m also not going to get in the middle of it because we, as a party and as a country, have to focus on the future,” he said.

He explained to Todd that his party “needs to focus ‘on the task at hand right now,’ which includes defeating President Trump.”

Buttigieg responded in almost the same way when Jake Tapper asked about it on CNN’s State of the Union. He tried to steer his answers into topics important to Americans. From CNS News:

“[I]s it helpful to have the 2016 nominee suggesting that a congresswoman is a Russian asset?” Tapper asked Buttigieg:

“I’d prefer to have the conversation be about policy, about what we’re going to do, and about how American lives are going to be different,” Buttigieg responded. “When it comes to any of my Democratic competitors, that’s my focus, making sure that we make very clear the differences — and there are very real differences among us — and making it clear to voters what their choices are. That’s where I’d like to focus to be.”

Tapper followed up, asking Buttigieg, “Do you think Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset?”

“I don’t know what the basis is for that,” Buttigieg said. “I consider her to be a competitor, somebody who I respect her service.

“I also have very different views then she does, especially on foreign policy. And I would prefer to have that argument in terms of policy, which is what we do with debates and what we’re doing as we go forward.”

Tapper noted that Democrats complain when President Trump “smears people,” so “why don’t Democrats…say that about Tulsi Gabbard? It seems like an obvious smear. I don’t see any evidence she’s a Russian asset. It seems like a wild accusation.”

“Yes, I think statements like that ought to be backed by evidence,” Buttigieg replied.

He then changed the subject to “things that are actually undermining America,” such as “corruption” in the White House and Trump’s “mixing of domestic politics and foreign affairs.”

Robert O’Rourke

Candidate Robert O’Rourke faced similar questions during his appearance on MSNBC’s AM Joy. From Mediaite:

O’Rourke was appearing on MSNBC’s AM Joy Sunday, where Ayman Mohyeldin was filling in for Joy Reid. Mohyeldin cued up a clip where O’Rourke defended Gabbard, saying “Tulsi is not being groomed by anyone. She’s her own person. Obviously has served this country and continues to serve this country in uniform, in Congress, as a candidate for the presidency. ”

“Is it helpful when you have the former nominee of your party criticizing another presidential candidate in the way that she did?” Mohyeldin asked.

While Buttigieg tried to frame his answers around policy, O’Rourke used it to attack President Donald Trump. To his credit, though, he sounded slightly annoyed and did not want to give Hillary’s paranoia more airtime:

“If we’re talking about the country of Russia, there is a Russian asset in the White House right now,” O’Rourke said. “So I think that’s where we as Democrats, really we as Americans, need to be focused right now. Holding that president accountable.”

Mohyeldin noted he didn’t answer the question and pressed him again on the original point.

“You played my response just a second ago. And I stand by that response,” O’Rourke said. “I think I could play into this false media narrative that seeks to pit Democrats against one another over a spurious allegation, or we can focus on the fact that there is a Russian asset in the White House right now doing the bidding of a foreign power against the interests of America.”

“That’s where I remain focused as a candidate,” O’Rourke said.

O’Rourke repeated these same thoughts today:

Andrew Yang, Marianne Williamson, Tom Steyer

Yang and Williamson tweeted out support for Gabbard, reminding people that she has served our country. Also, for the party of women, they should stop attacking women.

Activist Tom Steyer described it “as a sideshow” and he has “enough things to worry about.”

Everyone is Sick of Hillary’s Russia Obsession

ROLLING STONE

Everyone Hillary doesn’t like is a Russian agent. Actually, it’s not just Hillary. It’s a lot of the Democrats.

Rolling Stone, the leftist publication that provided a glowing profile on one of the Boston Marathon bombers, tore into Hillary and her counterparts. Matt Taibi wrote:

Everyone is foreign scum these days. Democrats spent three years trying to prove Donald Trump is a Russian pawn. Mitch McConnell is “Moscow Mitch.” Third party candidates are a Russian plot. The Bernie Sanders movement is not just a wasteland of racist and misogynist “Bros,” but — according to intelligence agencies and mainstream pundits alike — the beneficiary of an ambitious Russian plot to “stoke the divide” within the Democratic Party. The Joe Rogan independents attracted to the mild antiwar message of Tulsi Gabbard are likewise traitors and dupes for the Kremlin.

If you’re keeping score, that’s pretty much the whole spectrum of American political thought, excepting MSNBC Democrats. What a coincidence!

He also pointed out the other Democrats:

This witch-hunting insanity isn’t just dangerous, it’s a massive breach from reality. Trump’s campaign was a clown show. He had almost no institutional backing. His “ground game” was nonexistent: his “campaign” was a TV program based almost wholly around unscripted media appearances. Trump raised just over half the $1.2 billion Hillary pulled in (making him the first presidential candidate dating back to 1976 to win with a funds deficit). He didn’t prepare a victory speech, for the perfectly logical reason that he never expected to win.

Even if you posit the most elaborate theories of Russian interference (which I don’t, but of course I’m denialist scum), what happened in 2016 was still almost entirely a domestic story, with Trump benefiting from long-developing public rejection of the political establishment.

Rather than confront the devastating absurdity of defeat before an ad-libbing game show host who was seemingly trying to lose – a black comedy that is 100% in America’s rich stupidity tradition – Democrats have gone all-in on this theory of foreign infiltration. House speaker Nancy Pelosi even said as much in a White House meeting, pointing at Trump and proclaiming: “All roads lead to Putin.”

All? Seriously? Is this ever going to end?

New York Post Editorial Board

The New York Post editorial board stated Hillary “has gone full cuckoo” in order to stay in denial over losing in 2016.

The board reminded readers that Gabbard ruled out running as a third party and she served our country.

The writers basically laughed that Hillary cannot comprehend that anyone would choose to run third-party without the backing of Russia.

In conclusion:

In short, she’s doubling down on the actual reason why she lost: her palpable contempt for most Americans.

The amazing parrty is the IDIOTS on teh left claiming ” well SHe never denied it.” Does it need to be?? It’s ABSURD prima facia.

2020 Democrat candidates: We’re sick of Hillary!’s Russia obsession.

Public: Hear hear!

2020 Democrat candidates: We want to focus instead on our Ukraine obsession.

Public: (groan)

This time tweaking the nose of the Hildibeast has had no apparent repercussions. Hillary has been formally retired from the race. The sun has set on the Clintons. Tulsi will be in line for VP this time around. Mayor Pete is second in line for VP. Now for that first place contender… hum.. none of the above so far…

remember the democrats are masters of projection, Hillary is queen of the heap

WHAT IF the Dem insiders, or that brilliant politician Hillary Clinton (I mean that in the strongest terms, she is brilliant) think Gabbard is the party’s best shot against Trump, and so they make a ridiculous story about her to get her mega sympathy and blowback points?

Because that’s what I suspect is actually happening.

And personally I don’t think Gabbard is much different from electing a Squad member (please describe a difference between them on foreign policy or much else) and so I think this has to be blown into the open so it doesn’t get traction.

It used to be that Biden was the front-runner. Now Ukraine has taken him out, so it was going to Warren. And Warren was not going to win the general. So something had to be done.

(sorry one more) see now people are saying Gabbard may qualify for the next debate. No way that would have happened without Hillary’s “wacky”, “random”, “crank” comment.

That picture of Hillary makes her look like a real space jockey, but she isn’t. She’s one of the sharpest criminals ever to disgrace public service.

I’m still hoping for another Supreme Court seat vacancy. I can foresee another roooskie conspiracy to shift the dems off into another abyss.

You don’t suppose Hillary thinks the R stands for Russian do you?!?

Lord knows the D in her case stands for Dingbat.

With this, Tulsi may well become a very serious contender.
Hillary just did her a favor.

I hereby present the all laughingstock ticket for 2020: Clinton-Delecto. With so many worthy candidates vying for the title, that is quite an accomplishment.
