Macy’s Drops ‘Mom Jeans’ Plates After One Woman With No Sense of Humor Complains

Macy’s Drops ‘Mom Jeans’ Plates After One Woman With No Sense of Humor Complains

Whose feelings get hurt over a stupid plate?

Department store Macy’s dropped plates with “a series of rings labeled ‘skinny jeans,’ ‘favorite jeans,’ and ‘mom jeans'” as a suggestion for serving seizes after a CBS reporter complained.

SATIRE. How does it work?!

I guess the plates offended Ward because she believes they body shame people? She told The Washington Post she found the labels on the plates “a gross sentiment and also very out of touch with what’s fashionable right now.”

Pourtions, the maker of the plates, explained it used these labels as “a lighthearted take on the important issues of portion control.” The company apologized if the labels hurt anyone.

Pourtions’ describes itself as a company that produces products to help people “take back the power and counter this unhealthy trend” of big portions. I guess the company just wanted to stick out a little and try to use a little humor with its mission.

I’m not skinny. I’m an Italian woman with a big butt and big thighs. I diet and practice good portion control. These plates do not offend me. I laughe considering a lot of females often aim to fit into a certain pair of jeans when they lose weight.

I have a favorite pair of jeans that I use as my target goal for weight loss. Maybe that’s why I like these plates?

Just stop being so offended by every little thing. Stop letting inanimate objects like this hurt your fragile feelings.

Wanna bet a Democrat designed them,
and that a Democrat Macy’s Buyer ordered them?

Macy’s. Pussies.

I look for Macy’s to file for bankruptcy soon.

Twice, recently, this summer I’ve ventured into the largest regional mall just to see what was happening in retail.

The only remaining Macy’s store had dirty, filthy carpeting all over the store and was even promoting their “new” “bargain basement” of marked-down goods – all gathered into one place. However they also had some full price, non-marked down goods mixed in on the same tables as the clearance items.

I still buy most of my clothes from Macy’s, as they offer a wife selection of labels and designers, and, competitive prices. Macy’s in-house labels (Inc., Bar III and Tasso Elba also offer some nice linen and silk shirts and pants, which are great for summer wear. Their knee-jerk reaction to this woman’s egotistical stunt was foolish, but, I do rely on the place for my wardrobe.

Those are actually kinda cute. If Macy’s is too yellow to carry them, maybe some other distributor will.

The problem isn’t drab, colorless people (we’ll always have those); it’s the idea that we all have to surrender without a fight to drab, colorless people. Eventually the world will be rendered drab and colorless, and for what? They’ll still find something to bitch about. So fer crissakes, stop surrendering!

People who are choking the life out of America ought to be EXILED. Obviously including whomever complained about these plates.

GET A LIFE, WOMAN!!!!
AND LEAVE THE U.S.A.!!!!

no wonder they are going under…. snowflake plates?

Macy’s corporate symbols is a big, red, communist star. What do people expect?

Not too long ago, macys was selling a line of clothing emblazzed: “CCCP.”

Macys management must be infested with lunatics.

Leftists are true totalitarians. Devoid of a sense of humor, and, applying their totalitarian sensibilities to everything around them.

These people are dangerous beyond belief.

Read a bit of her twitter, it’s what you’d expect of a liberal wannabe trend setter.
Putting in her preferred her/she in her description. I hope her income goes south soon so she has to find honest work. Breaking boulders would be fine.

I lost 65 lbs by walking my dog 2 miles a day and trading in my dinner plates for smaller ones. Maybe the woman who complained should have bought a set instead.

Pretty poor management turning the decision making to a single fat social justice warrior.

The bullying is the point. Forcing somebody else to shut up is an exercise of power. This reporter will misuse her position again, and soon.

The real sow bellies don’t bother with plates.

I remember going to one of those buffet style places, all you can eat deals, and seeing a guy with several news papers and a portable TV in this booth. He planned to spend the day. 400 lbs+ and he could still walk.

Henry Ford cancels mass produced car when woman complains of the noise.

Thomas Edison closes light bulb production: “too bright!”, woman whines.

Charles Carrier ceases production of air conditioning units: “too cold!, says spokeswoman for National Association of Gals.

Here is a novel idea, I use it all the time. If you don’t like something, don’t buy it! Works like a charm.
