Blog Bash Blogger of the Year

I am pleased to announce that I received the award for Blogger of the Year from the National Bloggers Club last night at the Blog Bash 2014 event held near the CPAC conference.

Legal Insurrection was well represented at the event — from left to right — Me, Laurel, Aleister and Bryan.

Congratulations Professor and team! I really appreciate you all.

Outstanding news! Congrats!

Well-deserved! Congrats, Prof!

Congrats, Prof. J.! Certainly, well deserved.

Outstanding! That is a major award!

A very fitting and long overdue award for the top team in blogging. Many more to come, for sure.

Thrilled to see Legal Insurrection so honored! Congratulations Professor Jacobson, Mandy Nady, and everyone on our team of happy Insurrectionists!

Congratualtions.

Great Team – Great Work – Great Blog

Well Deserved – Congratulations

Yay! Well deserved.

The blog posts are excellent. When LI latches on to an issue, that issue gets covered in depth.

But even more noticeable, the Prof and team are creating new models. LI now has a group of contributors, has added features like editorial cartoons (Branco rocks!) and spun off the new blog CI.
This blog is a path-blazer in several ways.

This site is one of my several daily go-to sites and has been for years. Congratulations, Professor Jacobson, and well done LegalInsurrection Team one & all!

YAY!!! Congratulations!! Your blog is the first one I go to every morning!! (Not to mention numerous times throughout the day, also!!) Keep up the Great work!! And Thank You for giving us a place to go where we can feel like we are with people that think like we do.

Many congratulations and much appreciation for this terrific website!

E X C E L L E N T & W E L L D O N E!!!

Congratulations to the Professor who disseminates a dose of sanity from the heart of the ten square miles of political insanity known as Ithaca NY. My go-to blog.

Excellent!!

Usually, posts noting accomplishments like this great and well-deserved award received by our host are like catnip for trolls, but I see not a one in the thread. I’ll take a stab at it….

Oh, so ‘informing’ the public on current issues in a ‘fair’ and ‘balanced’ way is really a competition, huh? Not about TRUTH, huh? All about ‘winning’, isn’t it? Any chance THAT jams a little bias into your content? Unique hits over honesty! Market share over justice!

And why does one blogger need to be ‘better’ than another with you tea baggers? Isn’t all truth the same? Why reward this one over that one for speaking it? IT’S BECAUSE YOU CONSERVATIVE BASTIDS DON’T SPEAK THE TRUTH. Yeah! Seeing right through this. You bums reward each other for demonstrated skills at REPUBLICAN PROPAGANDA.

And how are all the other bloggers supposed to feel? Your award only tells them what they apparently are not, because they didn’t win. How can you enjoy your ‘achievement’ knowing the burning pain and disappointment it causes in the others? Oh, the shame. The FCC needs to regulate against these annual ratings and force the National Bloggers Club to issue annual Participation Trophies, each identical to the other and without status rankings, so that ALL may enjoy the feeling of accomplishment. Then the FCC should impose the Fairness Doctrine on the internet, in coordination with the IRS.

You tell ‘im, Henry. And another thing… how do we know this guy’s got standing to be opinionizin’ about American politics? Is he even American? Anybody here seen a birth certificate? We’re supposed to believe that “William A. Jacobson” is an American name?

Cool! Congrats Prof. You deserve it. God bless to you and yours.

Much R S P E C T for your hard earned award!

Congratulations!

Well deserved, and needed proof that one can succeed in blogging with real substance instead of gimmicks and pandering.

Awesome! Congrats!!

Congratulations, the recognition is well deserved. Nevertheless, I continue to suspect that LI preaches more to the choir than it makes new converts.

“Beautiful dress, mom. You look great! Too bad about that huge wart on your nose.”

There’s nothing classless about your opinion, but certainly in your choice of when and where to share it.

      1. The blog proprietor has more than once regretted the limited size of his audience. And anyway,

      2. I don’t believe in grade inflation.

        1. I’ll supplement my two cheers with an observation: it might be useful to have awards recognizing people who spread the conservative message to skeptics and people who haven’t heard it. Best Conservative Evangelist, with categories like Blogging, Press, Radio, Television, Policy Analysis, etc. Ditto for libertarians.

        2. To repeat: Congratulations to WAJ et al for well-earned recognition…but you can do better.

This is great, Prof. Nice to see you get some recognition for you and your team’s work!

Congrats! Well deserved.

Much R-E-S-P-E-C-T !

Congratulations! Your work is truly appreciated.

That’s cool, William!

It was always true in my web world , but it needed to be said, “Yous guys are the bestest.”
