Deranged media gets Trump advisor Stephen Miller’s 3rd grade teacher to badmouth him

Our sick media is turning this country into a nation of rats and snitches. Even your early childhood is not your own.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSJ-gS7lmyw

So many lines have been crossed by Democrats and their supportive media, I’m not sure there are any lines left.

Stephen Miller, advisor to Trump, is hated by Democrats and other leftists because of his role helping elect Trump and Miller’s strong positions on immigration.

Miller’s condo building has been the subject of protests.

The New York Times investigated Miller’s high school and college years:

Mr. Miller’s journey to this point, outlined over dozens of interviews with friends, classmates and current and former colleagues, is a triumph of unbending convictions and at least occasional contrivance. It is a story of beliefs that congealed early in a home that he helped nudge to the right of its blue-state ZIP code, and of an ideology that became an identity for a spindly agitator at a large and racially divided public high school.

These formative years supplied the template for the life Mr. Miller has carved out for himself in Washington, where he remains the hard-line jouster many of Mr. Trump’s most zealous supporters trust most in the White House — and many former peers fear.

In June 2018, Politico even ran a piece from one of Miller’s 3rd grade classmates, I Sat on the Other Side of Stephen Miller’s First Wall:

It was difficult to make Stephen laugh. I found him difficult to reach at all, and so, it seemed, did most everyone else. He was frequently distracted, vacillating between total disinterest in everything around him—my stories, of course, included—and complete obsession with highly specific tasks that could only be performed alone.

He especially was obsessed with tape and glue. Along the midpoint of our desk, Stephen laid down a piece of white masking tape, explaining that it marked the boundary of our sides and that I was not to cross it. The formality of this struck me as odd. I was a fairly neat kid, at least at school, and I had never spread my things to his side of the desk. Stephen, meanwhile, could not have been much messier: His side of the desk was sticky and peeling, littered with scraps of paper, misshapen erasers and pencil nubs.

Now The Hollywood Reporter has jumped on the bandwagon, running a column by Miller’s 3rd grade teacher Nikki Fiske badmouthing Miller’s 3rd grade conduct, focusing on glue again, Stephen Miller’s Third-Grade Teacher: He Was a “Loner” and Ate Glue:

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/stephen-millers-third-grade-teacher-tells-all-1150549

In 1993, Donald Trump’s senior political adviser attended Santa  Monica’s Franklin  Elementary, where he was “off by himself all the time.”

I can still picture him sitting in my classroom.

Do you remember that character in Peanuts, the one called Pig Pen, with the dust cloud and crumbs flying all around him? That was Stephen Miller at 8. I was always trying to get him to clean up his desk — he always had stuff mashed up in there. He was a strange dude. I remember he would take a bottle of glue — we didn’t have glue sticks in those days — and he would pour the glue on his arm, let it dry, peel it off and then eat it.

I remember being concerned about him — not academically. He was OK with that, though I could never read his handwriting. But he had such strange personal habits. He was a loner and isolated and off by himself all the time.

At the end of the year, I wrote all my concerns — and I had a lot of them — in his school record. When the school principal had a conference with Stephen’s parents, the parents were horrified. So the principal took some white-out and blanked out all my comments. I wish I could remember what I wrote, but this was 25 years ago. I’ve taught a lot of third-graders since then….

This third grade story has been boosted by a HuffPo article about it, in which HuffPo noted that this was just the latest in a string of people Miller knew earlier in life who have turned on him:

Last month, Miller’s former rabbi, Rabbi Neil Comess-Daniels, condemned the “zero-tolerance” immigration policy Miller helped to craft, saying it was “completely antithetical to everything I know about Judaism, Jewish law and Jewish values.”

In August, Miller’s uncle, retired neuropsychologist David S. Glosser, said his nephew “has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country.”

His uncle told HuffPost that Miller likely views certain ethnicities as “unworthy or inherently unsuited to life” in America.

There’s a reason the reporting is focused on eating glue. It’s meant to dehumanize Miller, to suggest he is brain damaged.

It was bad enough when Democrats and the media went after Brett Kavanaugh’s high school yearbook and behavior. Given time, no doubt the media and Spartacus would have come around to examining Kavanaugh’s early childhood years. Even though he’s on the Supreme Court now, it still may happen.

We are dealing with a sick media, one which thinks it’s appropriate to explore not just college behavior, but 3rd grade behavior. They are turning this country into a nation of rats and snitches. Even your early childhood is not your own.

This accounting is a laughable tale. Anyone who brings this up should be laughed at to their face.

The left is at war and all they have are blanks that make noise.

I wet the bed ’til I was 8. I can never run for political office.

Our system is becoming a sad joke.

    You lost my vote.

Clearly, I know the next thing I will find out about you is that you wrote letters to Santa Claus, believed in the Easter Bunny, and, gulp, had licentious out of control birthday parties replete with chocolate cake and ice cream ending up with rude games like pin the tail on the donkey and bobbing for apples. And at the end, I bet you sunk so low as you opened your friend’s birthday gifts to you too.

Why, I bet you even went out on Halloween night looking like an axe murderer too.

How dare you be a kid, when you were a kid!!!

Pathetic. When you have nothing big to discuss, you focus on the small. Sad.

Escaped from RI | October 11, 2018 at 9:34 am

Gotta love the Democrat Propaganda Apparatus/MSM. They can find out that Stephen Miller ate glue in the 3d Grade, but they can’t find any written record that Barrack Obama existed before he showed up at Harvard Law School.

notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to Escaped from RI. | October 11, 2018 at 1:10 pm

The Dems also can’t find any real work of research Barry Obama did for that review, let alone any articles he actually authored himself.

    Lazy Bum comes to mind……..

I can see the cross-party legitimacy attempt now. This just in…Joe Biden reportedly did NOT share his choc/van swirl pudding pack with his Hispanic classmate, Juanita, in 1st grade. Down with cis white male privilege!

Trump advisor ate paste when he was eight. He’s unfit because he must be mentally challenged! College student smokes pot, snorts coke. We must make him president!

I don’t know Miller but if a man can get the left to chase down his third grade teacher to write hit pieces about him than that’s a man I like. He’s obviously doing something right because the left is obviously terrified about him.

casualobserver | October 11, 2018 at 9:40 am

I’ve been saying it for a while. The left – and therefore the media – want to make anyone associated with or supporting Trump to experience as much “unpleasant” pain as they can. They want everyone to know you could be subjected to the most agony you can experience. It is their own form of torture. It’s so much more than a mob of rats and snitches. It’s a calculated and deliberate effort to stigmatize and shun and in some cases a focused effort to impact finances. Anything that leaves a permanent and person, everlasting scar it a bonus. A welcome bonus.

I see the media is already attacking Nikki Haley about her debt “as she steps down”. They probably use is as screen for speculating why she is leaving, but they really just want to make sure they take a shot at her early before she enters politics again.

1) Quite a few kids like to eat glue, who cares?

2) Some children march to different drummers, quite often that means they are loners and quite often they grow up to be smart cookies. High intelligence often leads to children being loners, because they advance much faster intellectually than other children, they have little in common with them. I understand this because I was one of those children.

3) There is a rational reason that Israel keeps most Palestinians out of their country, the same applies to America for both illegals and Muslims.

4) Obviously, the Rabbi is liberal and projecting his liberal views.

5) While I am not Jewish, I do hold the Jewish culture in high regard. That does not mean that there are not some who have the heads stuck where the daylight does not shine.

I just can’t imagine that anybody other than my mother can remember much of anything about my childhood. A third grade teacher from back in the day when a 32 kid classroom was the norm? I don’t think so. Miller’s being Forded.

Carl in reply to Merlin. | October 12, 2018 at 7:19 am

Well, there are indeed some folks with memories that are extraordinary. I am 82 now and two years ago my wife and I moved into an old people’s home (“Senior Living” at its finest) and a new acquaintance here, seeing my somewhat unusual name, asked where I went to kindergarten. We were classmates!! She knew!

The left is in a mode of total character assassination for anyone they can that involved with this administration.

This is depravity brought on by mass insanity. The left has gone off the deep end. I have a few left leaning friends, and they are now saying you are guilty till proven innocent. That what you did in early years comprise what you are today. Fortunately, I knew them since as far back as I can remember. I brought up stupid things they did, and one was always looking to fight anyone he could. I asked if that should disqualify you from getting your pension? I also knew them to drink and do some heavy drugs. Should that be part of you current career record and disqualify you for your position. They said it doesn’t count for them because they aren’t public officials. They cannot see beyond their hatred.

I also called them out for their hate, and they claim it is love of this country and them hating the dictatorship of Trump. You cannot make up a tale that gets more disturbing into the depths of mental illness associated with their politics these days.

God help us if the left ever gain control of the House or Senate.

You know, I tried to parody the media with a ‘Judge K was abusive! Kicked mother in ribs before even being born!’ blurb once that I thought was far enough out there that even blithering idiots could not possibly take seriously.

It appears I have underestimated the amount of ‘blithering’ in the media.

Another fail. These turkeys can’t even smear anyone competently.

Everybody of a “certain age” KNOWS that school paste was dynamite! Great stuff. The only thing better than chewing on chunks of paste was inhaling over the mimeographed handouts when they were fresh from the machine. They exuded some sort of vapor which was the high point of elementary school life. Kids nowadays who are given ordinary photostat Xerox-type sheets have no idea what they’re missing. And I’m sure that old paste is illegal now . . . it probably gives your desk cancer, at least in California.

I’ve never heard of Miller . . . but he sounds like a great guy.

    zennyfan in reply to tom_swift. | October 11, 2018 at 1:36 pm

Ah, the memories. If we weren’t meant to eat paste (dunking our rulers into the giant jar in the art room was our secret delight), why was it mint-flavored? I wonder if eating, or probably just chewing, dried glue is a bit like chewing gum — and maybe it stays in your stomach for seven years!

Both this article and HuffPost assumed that his former rabbi, when he said, “[his immigration policy] was completely antithetical to everything I know about Judaism, Jewish law and Jewish values,” assumes that this “rabbi” in fact knows anything about Judaism, Jewish law, and Jewish values. Since he is a Reform rabbi, whose connection to Jewish law and values are negligible — since their concept of Judaism is mostly made up out of whole cloth — then his criticisms are invented virtue signaling as well.

The Friendly Grizzly in reply to Chgolaw. | October 11, 2018 at 11:05 am

I forgot who said this, but I agree: The Reform sect of Hudaismn is thge Democrat party with holodays.

Full disclosure: I was born into the Reform sect. I walked away from the entire thing by the time I was 20.

On what does the Rabbi base his views? My read of the Law (Torah) shows a people whom G-d instructed to drive out or exterminate all foreigners in the land He gave to them. He instructed them not to marry non Jews (remember Phinehas, anyone!?!) If this Rabbi is for open-borders, diversity and inclusion and all that, he isn’t reading the TaNaK.

Hurricane in reply to Chgolaw. | October 11, 2018 at 1:37 pm

In the book of Nehemiah (assuming it’s part of the Torah) there is a great deal of wall-building going on.

Immolate in reply to Chgolaw. | October 11, 2018 at 3:15 pm

In the Pentateuch, God sometimes ordered the Jews to kill every man, woman and child in the city they were attacking, along with all of the animals. The fact that the Jews were perpetually surrounded by the various “ites” was more about their disobedience of God than their living in his will.

Miller’s response should be that he was testing the glues to see which was best for building future walls. You push us, we bitch slap you, etc.

At first I thought this was just so ridiculous and childish that it was funny. By the end I became horrified by this trespass into Miller’s life. Some people, like the Rabbi and the Uncle, should just learn to keep their stupid mouths shut.

Isn’t the teacher’s statement a violation of FERPA?

You know, both sides can play this game.

I mean, if the left really wants to go with this tactic, then BOTH sides ought to play it.

Start with making it cost the people making these statements to the media:

“I’d heard that this teacher was inappropriate with some of her students.”

Many kids ate glue as kids, it was organic back then. I never developed the taste.

Valerie in reply to Mark. | October 11, 2018 at 11:14 am

It smelled so good, all nice and pepperminty, and it looked just like the filling for a peppermint patty. I knew it couldn’t possibly taste like a peppermint patty, and I had friends that said it tasted good. So, I tasted it. It tasted like paste. And that was the end of that, for me. Third grade sounds about right.

The story leads me to question the ethics of the teacher more than any supposed wierdness in Steven Miller.

Is it really necessary to point out that teachers are there for the students, and not the other way around? Why would you become a teacher if you despise children so much you’d save a grudge against a kid you didn’t much like for thirty years, and then unload your ancient grudge to a reporter?

The only relevance the story would seem to have is that a teacher outed herself as unfit to teach. It can’t reliably tell us much of anything about that third-grader (let alone the adult). Although it does show us that some teachers obviously despise children, and especially children who may sometimes “march to a different drummer.” Which apparently can’t be tolerated in schools that demand near-total social and political conformity.

Immolate in reply to Albigensian. | October 11, 2018 at 3:22 pm

Thank you. A teacher speaking ill of a former student, except in a criminal matter, is equivalent to a psychiatrist spilling the beans on a patient, with the aggravation of the victim being a child (and in this case a grade schooler.) It is completely unacceptable and should be subject to sanction and severe penalty. When did people start becoming insensitive to those who shelter and protection they were responsible? Unacceptable. Shame on her.

Satire is dead.

FWIW, I attended Franklin Elementary as did my kids.

I asked my son if he remembered this teacher and he did. His best friend was in her class. My son said, “She’s really weird and a complete bitch.”

Just more priming the pump to destroy trust among people, which is the salient characteristic of a totalitarian mindset, building a society filled with informers ready to denounce you to the authorities should you deviate from the party line (if you don’t denounce yourself first). A free society cannot survive such a way of life.

Just read the many authors who have written about life under Soviet domination, such as Václav Havel.

The dilemma that we have is that when things are uncovered about us that are less than stellar we tend to be embarrassed and are not comfortable with the discovery. But when the exact same thing happens to a Dem it is an enhancement to their profile in the political world! Things like being a Communist when you were young would be devastating to us but to a lib, aka obama/brennen it is a sign of growth. Groping an underage teen was bad for Kavanaugh but then Sparky Booker actually wrote an article about his victory over a 15-year-old girl reaching his “Mark”. Blumenthal lied about his service in Vietnam but the People of Connecticut thought that was ok for their state AG and soon to be Senator. Ted Kennedy killed a woman by abandoning her in his wrecked car and that got him not only re-elected but made him a Dem candidate for POTUS against Jimmah. You see the problem we face by trying to do to them what they do to us? We all know/knew that hillary is a crook and so does the left but they spend all of their time looking for something that Trump has done that is crooked. We just can’t win!

JusticeDelivered in reply to inspectorudy. | October 11, 2018 at 3:23 pm

But we can and have won, and that is why they are psychotic.

“Blumenthal lied about his service in Vietnam…”

Being a bit picky, he didn’t serve in the Republic of Viet Nam and so it would be more accurate to write “Blumenthal lied about serving in…”. The above construct carries an implication that Stolen Valor Blumenthal actually served in-country, but lied about what he did while there.

Seems to me that if a teacher can’t reach a boy she says had no problem academically that problem was that she was incapable of challenging him intellectually.

I tend to think she’s not a very good teacher and that was the case since what kind of a teacher bad-mouths one of her students 25 years later with this kind of poppycock?

DouglasJBender | October 11, 2018 at 11:31 am

I think an important detail is being overlooked here: What flavor was the glue?

Gee, out of 300 million people, the propaganda wing of the Democrat party and liberal American has managed to find a classmate of Miller who either did not like him, or whom Miller didnn’t like. and a Rabbi who disagrees with Miller’s stance on immigration while attempting to wrap himself in the Torah. Now, I’n sure that if they tried, they could find several contemporaries who don’t like Miller. I’m sure that they could come up with a Christian clergyman who would trash Miller [I believe that Rev. Wright is till available for that]. This is all so much BS, probably designed to sell advertising and newspapers and gain the kudos of the delusional liberal/progressive left.

    notamemberofanyorganizedpolicital in reply to Mac45. | October 11, 2018 at 1:18 pm

Those Haters on Miller were found to be DUI.

    (DUI – Democrat Undermining Ignoramus)

“At the end of the year, I wrote all my concerns — and I had a lot of them — in his school record. When the school principal had a conference with Stephen’s parents, the parents were horrified. So the principal took some white-out and blanked out all my comments. I wish I could remember what I wrote, but this was 25 years ago. I’ve taught a lot of third-graders since then….” I read that and could not stop laughing. Even the principal could not handle the comments as being rational. I bet he bought white out in gallon containers just to save the school from utter humiliation if her lunacy was known.

I heard that he was a breech baby that gave his Mother an infection. What a disgrace Stephen was!
His wet nurse wrote me a letter back in July and told me that he used to try to bite her nipples. But she couldn’t remember where their home was, who drove her there or even who was there. She had contacted other wet nurses to verify that it was actually Stephen that had done this and they had no recollection of even being in a nursery with Stephen. When asked later though, she was 100% sure it was him.

There are only 2 types of glue that are or were allowed table use in 3rd grade, common library paste and Elmer’s White Glue. Both are extremely safe and nontoxic. Common library paste is quite edible, as every 3rd grader once knew.

Geez – my 3rd grade teacher was the lead bat among old bats. The one student she openly praised in class was always quiet and never spoke unless called upon. Two years after me, my brother had the misfortune to have the bat for 3rd grade. Early in the year, he was caught in a lie and for the remainder of the year, was known as “liar” with her. Bless my mom – she not only confronted that teacher but complained to the principal about her several times.

In hind sight, all my teachers from K-5 were women. The nasty teachers were old, single and childless – the better teachers were married and/or had children of their own.

Immolate in reply to MrE. | October 11, 2018 at 3:31 pm

Interesting story. I was an Army brat, so always moving. When I lived in Swanton, Vermont, probably aged 8 or 9, I had a female teacher who decided I was her “pet.” I was a bright kid, but a loner, being new and never having put down roots anywhere. She would favor me embarrassingly most of the time, but when she got mad, I became the object of her rage. Not sure if that’s a standard MO for that kind of teacher, but I hated it.

JusticeDelivered | October 11, 2018 at 5:35 pm

Being wrongly subjected to litigation is persecution, punishment by stealing time and costing them money.

I really don’t care if someone is homosexual, but I do object to this kind of activity. They need to be punished, not because they are homosexual, rather because they are obnoxious pricks.

And yet, we can’t see Obama’s college grades.

Perpetual adolescence and infantile spite are all that the Dumb-o-crats have to offer the country.

Oh, to be charitable, I suppose they are also offering tribal Balkanization, job-killing taxation and regulation and general totalitarian edicts and ethos.

Agree with immolate above. This is a breach of professional ethics and this teacher could be sued for what she has done today, not what she thinks she remembers from years past. IMO, his family has a reasonable expectation of privacy from professional educators and caregivers.

It so happens that the events related are innocuous, but they certainly were not, in the Kavanaugh case.

The problem is they attack someone when they were 8 years old and they don’t see anything wrong with it. A leftist writer today was complaining that President Trump’s rallies won’t be televised anymore. She thought if people saw the rallies they would be enraged as she was and people would turn on Trump. She couldn’t seem to fathom that Trump went from rally to rally day after day building up his base. The rallies did the impossible and led him to the Presidency. It’s incredible that the left has no idea how regular people think.
