CNN Fawns Over Sister of North Korea’s Dictator at Olympics

CNN has found the star of the Winter Olympics, and it isn’t an athlete. It’s Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un’s sister is stealing the show at the Winter Olympics

If “diplomatic dance” were an event at the Winter Olympics, Kim Jong Un’s younger sister would be favored to win gold.

With a smile, a handshake and a warm message in South Korea’s presidential guest book, Kim Yo Jong has struck a chord with the public just one day into the PyeongChang Games.

“I hope Pyongyang and Seoul get closer in our people’s hearts and move forward the future of prosperous unification,” she said in her guest book message, referring to the capitals of North and South Korea.

Seen by some as her brother’s answer to American first daughter Ivanka Trump, Kim, 30, is not only a powerful member of Kim Jong Un’s kitchen cabinet but also a foil to the perception of North Korea as antiquated and militaristic.

CNN’s Bizarre Praise of Kim Jong Un’s Sister at the Winter Olympics

CNN ran an absurd story Saturday afternoon, seemingly praising the sister of one the world’s most evil dictators for “stealing the show” at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

The piece starts off, saying, “If ‘diplomatic dance’ were an event at the Winter Olympics, Kim Jong Un’s younger sister would be favored to win gold.”

As the Daily Caller’s Benny Johnson pointed out, the article even attempts to justify her inclusion at the Olympic games as proof that the brutal regime was somehow a progressive nation.

Babilina Hwang, a visiting professor at Georgetown, told CNN that “Kim Yo Jong is the perfect counterpart to (Ivanka Trump). And it also is a signal that North Korea is not this crazy, weird former Cold War state — but it too has young women that are capable and are the future leadership.” (emphasis added)

CNN goes days without saying a single positive thing about Trump or the first family but they gush over the family of Kim Jong Un. Do they even see how bad this looks?
