Judicial Watch: Hillary Had “Detailed Knowledge” of Security Risks; More Classified Emails Discovered

“When will the Justice Department act?”

Judicial Watch has taken the lead in pursuing government records of Hillary Clinton’s sketchy use of at least 13 devices for emails while serving as Secretary of State, as well as her controversial decision to set up a private server.

Judicial Watch’s FOIA requests have resulted in quite a few bombshells.  Among them the fact that Hillary sent classified materials via email to her daughter and other such revelations that show the need to reopen the Hillary investigations.

Judicial Watch’s latest batch of FOIA-acquired emails reveals still more classified information sent via email and show that Hillary herself “had detailed knowledge” of the security risks associated with her non-State Department email system.

Judicial Watch reports:

Judicial Watch today released 78 pages of new documents from the U.S. Department of State containing emails of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent and received over her unsecure, non-“state.gov” email system. Three of the email exchanges include classified information. The emails also reveal that Clinton had detailed knowledge about the security issues with in her non-State Department email system.

On March 8, 2011, Hillary Clinton sent classified information regarding Bahrain to Justin Cooper, who reportedly had no security clearance, with instructions to show it to Bill Clinton. Cooper was the Bill Clinton aide, who asked State Department IT specialist Bryan Pagliano to build a server for Mrs. Clinton in early 2009 as she started her new job as Secretary of State.

On August 24, 2010, Clinton emailed Cooper additional classified information to print, including the secretary’s call sheet for Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

In a February 13, 2010, email exchange, Hillary Clinton passed along classified information to Cooper, which originally was sent to Cheryl Mills (Clinton’s then-chief of staff) by U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Carlos Pascual. The classified information included a note from Mexican Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa to Hillary Clinton. In the email to Cooper, Clinton asks him to “look for Espinosa’s note and respond.”

The documents are part of the accelerated schedule of production ordered by U.S. District Court Judge James E. Boasberg, which requires the State Department to complete processing by September 28, 2018 the remaining documents of the 72,000 pages recovered by the FBI in its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illicit email server. These new classified and other emails appear to be among those that Clinton had attempted to delete or had otherwise failed to disclose.

Hillary’s intent to destroy or hide incriminating data shows her knowledge of the lax security of her private server and her understanding of the lack of care she took with classified information.   For example, the FBI reported that her housekeeper had unauthorized access to Hillary’s SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) and routinely printed out classified materials from that location.

Judicial Watch continues:

“The fact that Hillary Clinton and her agents tried to destroy or hide emails shows how she flagrantly and knowingly violated the laws that protect classified information and government records,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “And these new emails refute Hillary Clinton’s repeated claims of having little or no knowledge about her email system.  She clearly was fully in charge of setting up her outlaw email system and overseeing its use. When will the Justice Department act?”

Last year, the FBI uncovered 72,000 pages of documents Clinton attempted to delete or did not otherwise disclose. Until the court intervened and established a new deadline, the State Department had been slow-walking the release of those documents at a rate that would have required Judicial Watch and the American people to wait until at least 2020 to see all the releasable Clinton material.

Prior to the FBI investigation, Clinton repeatedly stated that the 55,000 pages of documents she turned over to the State Department in December 2014 included all of her work-related emails. In response to a court order in another Judicial Watch case, she declared under penalty of perjury that she had “directed that all my emails on clintonemail.com in my custody that were or are potentially federal records be provided to the Department of State, and on information and belief, this has been done.”

In a related case involving emails found on the laptop of disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner, who is the husband of former Clinton aide Huma Abedin, Judicial Watch has discovered that Clinton failed to turn over 67 additional emails, bringing the total to at least 694 emails that Hillary Clinton failed to turn over and further contradicting a statement that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails had been turned over to the State Department.

This batch of emails also reveals discussions between Clinton aides, one of whom didn’t have security clearance, about how to address various “system vulnerabilities” of which Hillary was aware.  At no time in these emails does she mention wiping the server or emails “like with a cloth.”

Fox News reports:

The new emails reveal Clinton’s apparent knowledge of “system vulnerabilities” with her non-state.gov email address.

One email on June 6, 2011 from Clinton aide Justin Cooper, who asked State Department IT aide Bryan Pagliano to set up Clinton’s private email server, warned about “overseas” security issues with her emails and BlackBerry devices.

“All of your older messages will remain on the server. There is a way for me to move everything onto the new device, but the security whizzes have convinced me that this is a horrible thing to do because you also transfer any viruses, spyware and junk overseas providers hide on there,” Cooper wrote in the email. “We also have some new security features and policies [sic] that I would like to add to any new berry you have –the most noticeable difference will require a more complex password. It is a constant fight to keep up with the security measures and unfortunately we keep seeing reminders of why we need to.”

Throughout the FBI investigation, and congressional probes into the private email server, Clinton claimed she wasn’t involved in issues involving the “email system.”

But new emails show exchanges between Clinton and top aides, like Pagliano and Cooper, who helped to set up the servers, discussing backups of emails and the setting up of Clinton’s ipad.

Cooper reportedly had no security clearance.

With Americans’ trust in government at a near all-time low, this is something that the Department of Justice must investigate.  Failure to do so simply reinforces Americans’ growing belief that the rule of law is applied unequally, with the politically-connected enjoying immunity from laws that govern the rest of us.

I think we’re all suffering double-standard fatigue. Hillary keeps flouting the law and the “Justice” Dept. keeps looking the other way.

Snopercod, I think I fear this more than any other attack on our culture and American belief system (well, the one we used to have). If enough Americans realize that there is no equal protection under the law, that the law can be and is used to “punish” political enemies (i.e. the filmmaker blamed for Benghazi), that the executive’s alphabet agencies can and will come after political enemies, that we have no government agency we (the people) can trust (the FBI, I guess, was the last to go), that we are exposed as a people who gave up our rights, our freedoms, our rule of law . . . without even noticing.

Our government of, by, and for the people becomes a government that crushes and dominates its people, providing immunity, benefits, and favor to connected or bribed lawmakers and government officials. That’s not America; that’s Russia, Cuba, Mexico, and every other corrupt, oppressive totalitarian banana republic on the planet. We have to know that our laws apply to everyone. Including Hillary. And Obama.

Sessions will be remembered not for his senate record or for anything else he is doing worthwhile at the DOJ, but he will be rememered as a de facto accessory to hillary klinton, and the as the man who solidified the two tier system of justice started by obama/jarrett.

At some point soon, Trump will face pressure to confront this abomination ocurring in his watch.

President Trump: we can beat north korea, the chi comm, become richer financially and the like, but it means little if we rot from within. Dont be george w. bush: he saved us from external threats, but gave us obama, who had done more to hurt our nation than any foreign enemy ever has.

Hillary klinton and her criminal cabal must be destroyed. Same with obama/jarrett. They must face justice, or America will soob face te likes of them again.

I like Sessions, always have. He’s hard for non-Southerners to read, but he’s the real deal. Trump is the one who said not to go after Hillary, remember? Sessions, meanwhile, has been looking into the Uranium One deal (not called off-limits by Trump) and is not going to give up on doing the right thing. Sessions is far more intelligent and savvy than you give credit. Maybe that’s the problem? Any actual conservative has to be destroyed on the altar of Trump? Heh, just guessing, but Sessions is no Clintonite, and he’s no RINO. Never has been and has not, since taking office as AG, conducted himself as either. Bashing Sessions will get you nowhere in your dream of aligning with conservatives/the Tea Party; Trump or Sessions? Sorry, I’ll take Sessions any day; his record is long and stable; he’s shown again and again that he is moral and ethical. He doesn’t change his spots at the drop of a political poll.

The anti-Sessions crew seems to believe he had any other choice than to recuse himself. He only had the choice not to if he wanted to throw his ethics and morality to the wind and turn the DOJ into DJT’s personal law firm. He made the right choice. The anti-Sessions crew appears to want Sessions to behave with the amoral, unethical, disgusting sleaziness of Holder and Lynch. Here’s the thing, actual conservatives view principles and morals as strengths, not weaknesses, and we would never advocate that something we condemn in our opponent is A-OK if it’s our guy doing it. Such people are vomitous trash akin to the Obots who sung Obama’s praises when he carried on Bush policies they loathed . . . under Bush.

To me, this is not only unprincipled and hypocritical but pure, indefensible garbage, so I’m happy that Sessions refuses to stoop to that level. In fact, he does nothing but grow in my esteem as he manages to protect America and juggle the unreasonable, unethical demands of the Trump White House. That said, yeah, I want the DOJ on this Hillary thing because it’s not partisan vengeance or pettiness; she is a criminal who needs to be held to account. If Sessions’ DOJ does nothing, yes, he’ll drop in my esteem (but not off the map 😛 ).

First, Jeff Sessions is what he is. Many of us are still trying to decide exactly what that is. While his seeming reticence concerning actively investigating HRC is very likely the result of DJT’s attempt to hold out n olive branch to the Lib/Prog/Dems, when he came into office, this does not make him anti-Establishment. He did place the notorious Quisling, Rob Rosenstein in charge of the Trump/Russia collusion investigation and Rob immediately put Mueller, MUELLER, in as SC.

Look, time have changed. The Conservative element of the Republican Party was taken over by the Establishment years ago. The Tea Party never gained any legs, largely due to it being targeted by the weaponized Obama Administration and the Republican leadership. What you have now dominating the political scene is the Establishment, which encompasses the Uniparty, and the anti-Establishment. While a goodly number of rank and file Conservatives, including the Tea Party, compose the anti-Establishment forces, most career politicians are not among that number. Sessions has been in office in Washington [20 years] far too long not to be affiliated with the Establishment.

How well Jeff Sessions prosecutes the cases against HRC, the Clinton Cartel and members of the Obama Administration who have violated the law will determine how he is remembered as AG.

          Fuzzy,

You are so wrong on this.

‘Recusal’ is a judge’s prerogative in a conflict, not a chief law enforcement officer’s: it’s used merely to shift a matter to another judge, fully empowered to hear the case.

When a chief law enforcement officer is faced with a conflict, it’s obvious that officer was involved somehow in the criminality surrounding the conflict – or a family member is implicated in the case, etc. . Klinton and obama aren’t Sessions’ family members – he has NO conflict other than his potential culpability because of his past acts as a senator.

It was therefore incumbent upon Sessions’ in his sworn duty to our country, to resign. He didn’t: he instead decided to ignore – and therefore enable – the horror of a two-tier justice system created during eight years of traitorous rats corrupting our government. Sessions simply decided to stick around and go after low-hanging fruit. NO PRIOR ACCOMPLISHMENT of Sessions excuses him, though it might mitigate the judgment he deserves – a little. But not much. So instead of life, give him 100 years.

Here, Sessions is faced with the greatest, most heinous criminal scandal EVER to be discovered among our elected officials, administrative officials and our electoral process – EVER. There is no precedent for this in American history – not even REMOTELY close. So upon its discovery, Sessions recuses himself, and abrogates his duties – to WHOM? – To the very people suspected of the sedition. Sessions avoids the matter, and it lays dying in the hands of the likes of the corrupt Comey-clone, Rod Rosenstein. What transparent b.s.

EVEN IF Sessions’ intention was honest, his incredible lack of judgment in abrogating his duty to the people who could be suspected of sedition shows the need for him to resign, so a competent, non-conflicted chief law enforcement officer can take office and rescue our Republic. Again: between obama and klinton, comey, etc. , we’re looking at treason, sedition and espionage – and a ton of other felonies.

And what about WaSSerman Schultz and the IT espionage in Congress? WTF is Sessions doing everyday?????

As for Trump ‘not’ backing prosecution of Klinton, remember this: he recently trashed Sessions publicly for ignoring, again, what is most heinous criminal scandal EVER to be discovered among our elected officials, administrative officials and our electoral process.
“Trump slams Sessions, DOJ for not going after Clinton, DNC”
          http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/03/trump-slams-sessions-doj-for-not-going-after-clinton-dnc.html

We are in a crisis in this country: our government has been hijacked by the likes of george soros, enabled by weak compliant weasels like mconnell (and the rest of the GOPe rats) crawling in the Congressional woodwork).

Sessions is a MAJOR part of the problem, and is likely implicated himself – most likely indirectly, but implicated nonetheless by his acts as a senator – in the crimes and sedition, and he must go.

          Quickly.

I want to know one thing. Why, since all and sundry are now aware that the dossier was pure fiction, is Mueller’s “investigation” still going on???

“Trump is the one who said not to go after Hillary, remember?”

If this is the true reason for Sessions’ inaction, then he’s a damned fool. He will ruin his own reputation in order to shield lawbreakers from justice; it’s doesn’t matter if Trump asked him to do it or not. His first loyalty is to the law.

re: “…or America will soon face the likes of them again.”

PRECISELY! The trophy is much more than just Clinton, Obama, Holder and the rest of that ‘wrecking crew’ the Dems supported. In just 36 months POTUS again will be sworn in as President, either Donald Trump or someone else.

If it is a Democrat (such as Cory Booker) then American freedoms will be forfeit. Progressives will strangle this country like few could ever imagine, and the RINOs would merely bleat in the back 40 – out of touch and powerless.

“If it is a Democrat (such as Cory Booker) then American freedoms will be forfeit…”

Amazing, isn’t it? We dodged the TITANIC and fatal bullet of hillary klinton becoming president by inches.

We are ONE election from going right back into the morass.

Unless the swamp is drained NOW: and that means fullest disclosure, aggressive investigations and energetic prosecutions.

Sessions ‘recused’ himself. In other words, he quit, and is dabbling part-time.

          We can’t stand for this.

I have not trusted the FBI since they covered up the assassination of JFK. Ruby Ridge was the final straw, when they deliberately promoted the snipers, who shot Sammy and Vicki Weaver. Mrs Weaver was standing in the door hold a baby when she was shot. There have been other cases, which the incompetence of the FBI to solve crimes has come out too. Case in point, the Lindbergh case.

Agreed, the FBI has had sketchy episodes that call its integrity into question. I guess this last from FBI head Comey is the final straw for many Americans who might have excused earlier incidents as aberrations of some kind. Comey revealed the true depth and breadth of the politicization of the FBI.

The FBI, the CIA, the IRS, indeed, the federal government itself, is dependent on the trust and respect of Americans. Once that is lost . . . all bets are off. They had the responsibility to earn and retain our trust, and they failed. They didn’t just fail in Comey’s case, they joyously threw our trust and respect to the winds in favor of protecting Hillary Clinton.

“The FBI, the CIA, the IRS, indeed, the federal government itself, is dependent on the trust and respect of Americans. Once that is lost…”

Fuzzy: it’s lost – and all bets are off.

This is in Session’s hands. He failed. Most Americans don’t trust him, nor ANY of our government institutions, other than the presidency under Trump.

This was Session’s seminal moment: he could have gone down in history as a great hero, instead of the great hack he is proving to be.

While we’re at it, there’s more on the table, in reference to that rat traitor obama’s buddy, al sharpton:

“In 1983, the FBI launched an investigation into boxing promoter Don King’s organized crime connections and targeted Franzese to introduce FBI undercover agent, using the alias Victor Quintana, to King. Franzese, who had never met King, was first introduced by civil rights leader Al Sharpton. Franzese first met Sharpton through Genovese crime family mobster, Daniel Pagano.[18] Sharpton later helped Franzese with muscle as he targeted the security guard unions in Atlantic City. Quintana was to give the impression that he was buying his way into the boxing world in order for King to reveal his criminal associations, however the investigation subsequently collapsed after Quintana failed to follow through with several hundred thousand dollars.[19]”
          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Franzese

Sharpton’s been a criminal for decades. Not merely a race huckster and extortionist, but a street criminal. He is also a tax cheat on the order of millions of dollars.

How sharpton is walking the streets while eric holder or loretta lynch are no longer shielding him from prosecution says worlds about the DOJ under Sessions.

Among other things, as the sharpton criminality – and the participation in it by the scum of – and alongside of – obama/jarrett is swept under the rug, our government remains completely corrupted, just waiting for the next obama/jarrett/schumer/pelosi/gore/klinton etc. to get into office to reactivate the scheme, under the protection of the likes of the corrupt ny times.

Sure, he’s appearing good on immmigration and MS13 gangs, but Sessions is content to leave the most dangerous, dormant cancer imaginable sitting comfortably in nation’s core. And that cancer will spring back to life – with a vengence – upon the election of a democrat president. With a corrupt ‘news’ media and a corrupt opposition party (the scum of the GOPe), there will be nothing to stop it again, and it will finally destroy our way of life.

A transformative figure like Donald Trump only comes along once in a lifetime. Even if another Trump emerges in several years, it will be too late, because of the inaction of Sessions.

This is similar to when close-transvestite FBI head J. Edgar Hoover was blackmailed by the American mafia, and with Hoover’s direct complicity, the FBI stood down while the mafia grew unimpeded to the proportions it did. The difference here is that the mafia was no running the CIA, the FBI, the IRS, etc etc.

The stench of obama and klinton is getting worse and worse as the sewer covers of their treason, sedition and espionage are opened.

Sessions’ reaction to all this? – Put on a nose plug.

It isn’t just Hillary. It’s anybody and everybody connected to the Clintons, something they’ve managed to pull off their entire careers.

      Its called organized crimme.

With the Crying Boehners being the vanguards of our constitution for the past decades, this mafia in out government has grown to horrifying proportions.

We do have hillary klinton to thank, though: but not for her unbridled greed, arrogance and her incredible incompetence, the lid may not have blown.

Corrupt leftists need to be imprisoned. Crying Boehners need to be shown the exit.

Rule of law or bury Chelsea. Your call bitch

Judicial Watch is being polite it’s called FELONY Knowledge

Being ‘polite’ is from the GOPe playbook: its a cop-out.

‘Outrage’ is the appropriate reaction: its harder because you have to back it up, but it works better. Just ask the left. Or Hawaii air rais warden jamie lee curtis.

DieJustAsHappy | January 20, 2018 at 5:02 pm

Two peas in a pod. Bill lied with regards to the safety of women around him. Hillary lied about the same with regard to “mails.”

CaliforniaJimbo | January 20, 2018 at 5:12 pm

Honestly. Felonia Pantsuit belongs behind bars for her carelessness. When I was in intel, even thinking what she did would have earned me a nice long stay in Leavenworth without a Chelsea Manning operation.

It wasn’t carelessness. I’ve been involved in, let’s say a couple if similar cases. I was an SSO, which stands for Special Security Officer. Which means when you got your TS I’d read you in. If the government decided you had a need to know, I’d read you into those compartments.

And if NCIS wanted to make a case against somebody for violating the Espionage Act they’d come to me and make copies of my paperwork and log books. And they’d say “Thank You” and if a traitor tried to play dumb, if it was a jury trial, the judge would tell the jury not to believe a word of that bilge. And remind them of the exhibits and tell them this was a trained intelligence professional and that the defendant is lying.

Nobody gets this kind of treatment. No FBI agent let alone the director makes excuses like maybe this individual was unclear on the law or they didn’t know what the law was and maybe they didn’t know what the laws was.

That’s the first f***ing excuse these violators try. And it never plays for anyone else. It’s why I kept meticulous paperwork. NCIS never buys it once they saw my records. And Neither does the FBI, or the judges.

I may yet vomit, as maybe more than most I have inside knowledge of just how much the government is lying for Hillary. And I know I’m not the only one. People, they think you’re stupid. And and even if you didn’t have a clearance in the military or as a defense contractor I know you’re not.

IndependentDem in reply to Arminius. | January 21, 2018 at 4:19 am

Everyone should read your comment. I am a career diplomat at State, so you know the level of clearance I hold. Had I done a fraction of what we have knowledge of what Hilary did I would be in prison, and rightly so. Come was a dirty cop, serving at the highest levels in a dirty administration, and that is why Hilary is walking free today.

Every government employee or contractor with a security clearance is aware of the security risks and the penalties for violations, Hillary and her staff not excepted. This was done deliberately and with knowledge of its illegality.

I’m so stupid and badly informed that I still believe Trump is leading a choreographed operation.

Don’t tell your enemies your plans.

It’s unclear whether AG Sessions is incompetent or corrupt, but the one thing that’s certain is that he isn’t doing his job.

Why won’t McConnell allow him to be fired, do you think?

Justin Cooper the SySOP of Clintonemail.com wrote:

He’s talking about the security of the Blackberry not of clintonemail.com, which was probabl;y the most secure email account in the history of email, it being secure not only against hackers (who could not use techniques that would work on Yahoo or Gmail like a dictionary password attack, phishing, or a backdoor password reset, and whose activity would be almost immediately detectable – even the Stuxnet virus would not work because the server was guarded by the Secret Service with very limited access to it) but it was also secure against subpoenas from whatever source, whether a grand jury or a Congressional Committee, and from Inspector Generals * or any kind of future inquiry or commission.

* In fact, during the entire tenure of Hillary Clinton as Secretary oif State the State Department did not even have an Inspector General, which was longer than any Cabinet agency had gone without an Inspector generral since they started having Inspector Generals, in the second half of the Carter Adnministration.

Sammy Finkelman | January 22, 2018 at 2:31 pm

We also have some new security features and polices that I would like to add to any new
berry you have — the most noticeable difference will require a more complex password.

To the Blackberry.

Sammy Finkelman | January 22, 2018 at 2:32 pm

All of your older messages will remain on the server.

Even though they won’t be on her new Blackberry.
