Tip of the iceberg nationally?

Elections officials in Philadelphia discovered that a glitch allowed hundreds of illegal voters to cast ballots in the last decade. From Philly.com:

Commissioner Al Schmidt blamed that on what he said was a PennDot glitch that enabled legal permanent residents to register to vote at kiosks when they applied or renewed for driver’s licenses or registrations.

Only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote, but those in the country legally are able to obtain driver’s licenses in Pennsylvania.

It was unclear how many noncitizens might have registered to vote at PennDot offices statewide, or how many of them had cast ballots. A Pennsylvania Department of State review is underway, but the department said late Wednesday it had records indicating 1,160 people statewide since 1972 had requested cancellation of their voter registrations because they were not citizens.

President Donald Trump often pointed to Philadelphia when voter fraud came up. He has claimed millions of fake votes occurred, but while that number has not been confirmed, this revelation from Philadelphia obviously shows that there’s a problem:

Three hundred and seventeen voters have contacted the City Commissioners, which oversees elections in Philadelphia, since 2006 to have their registrations canceled because, while they were in the country legally, they were foreign citizens ineligible to vote.

Schmidt’s data date back to 2006 because that was when Pennsylvania started using the Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors, which provides reliable statistics about voters in the state.

Of the 317, Schmidt’s office has documented 220 — either through direct contact or via an attorney — who were registered to vote from 2006 to 2017. Forty-four of those people voted in one election while 46 voted in more than one election.

All of the 317 registrations have been canceled, Schmidt said.

Schmidt stated that “155 of the ineligible voters registered as Democrats, 23 as Republicans, and 42 as Independents or members of smaller political parties.” Philly.com continued:

Schmidt and his staff traced the problem in Philadelphia primarily to legal residents who are not American citizens, visiting PennDot offices to obtain or update driver’s licenses. That accounted for 168 of the 220 people who contacted the City Commissioners to cancel registrations. The 52 others registered to vote by other means, Schmidt said.

“For the majority of these people, it’s completely plausible to believe they thought they were eligible to vote,” Schmidt said, because they were offered the option to register after giving PennDot documentation that they were in this country legally but not citizens.

The 220 had legitimate immigration documents that gave the ability to apply for driver’s licenses. But during the process of applying for license, they are given the option to register to vote due to a 1993 federal law “what went into effect in 1995 to help encourage voter registration by pairing it with the process to obtain a driver’s license.”

The Washington Times pointed out that illegal voters have been in other states like Virginia and New Jersey:

In each of those states, the PILF [Public Interest Legal Foundation] obtained records of persons who’d had their voter registration canceled because they admitted to being noncitizens, and then matched them up against voting records.

Logan Curchwell, a spokesman for the PILF, said the findings should spur changes to the 1993 National Voter Registration Act, commonly called Motor-Voter, which forced states to sign voters up while obtaining driver’s licenses.

“DMVs should never be in the business of offering voter registration to Green Card holders. The time is now to have a substantive discussion about rethinking Motor Voter,” Mr. Churchwell said.

He said it’s not just voter integrity that suffers. Those immigrants who later try to seek citizenship could have their applications delayed or even denied for voting illegally.

“He has claimed millions of fake votes occurred, but while that number has not been confirmed,”

I could swear this had been more or less confirmed in the past few months in addition to the revelation in NH. Regardless, ithe only reason it hasn’t is because no one is bothering to look.

People are looking but the MSM, the Democrats and the RINOs all ignore or attack any evidence.

Good example: Chicago had approx 15,000 more votes cast than registered voters. They yawn: only 15,000?

But do the real math. What is the average voter turnout for registered voters – 60-70%. So if 70% of the registered voters voted, than means 30% were fake votes on top of the 15,000.

So Chicago alone had hundreds of thousands of illegal votes.

    Not evn counting California…

Every single even cursory investigation has revealed huge amounts of vote fraud and its ALWAYS heavily Democratic.

If we don’t change it, nothing will change.

But the squishy RINOs in Congress are never going to even pretend to do anything about it.

That’s how I know Hillary do not win even the “popular vote.”

The Dems were manufacturing more fake votes then ever in their history.

The Dems just underestimated the tens of millions of extra fake votes they would need to overcome the real American’s votes……

We have a two-tier justice system in America.

Which tier does this fall into?

There is a reason why Obama sicked the IRS on the True the Vote folks. There is a reason why those IRS agents are still being protected and still persecuting conservatives.

Yes, this is just the “Tip of the iceberg nationally.”

As Richard Dreyfus said in Jaws, “This was no boating accident.”

And this was no “glitch” either. It was a deliberate and—far worse—excruciatingly obvious plan to industrialize voter fraud. And it worked.

Just how well it worked, we don’t know yet.

You are absolutely correct. My 2nd career was in computer and microprocessor engineering. Whenever somebody uses the word “glitch,” it is in the middle of a lie to cover up either incompetence or a deliberate unethical or illegal act.

I have no doubts of this, probably much greater numbers. Many of the Dems schemes, Motor Voter and same day registration comes to mind, foster fraud. Also the reluctance if not outright refusal to look into irregularities cause me to suspect wrong doing. If you don’t look, you will not find.

This can’t be true. We have been assured that only the Russian government, wait… Russian affiliated hackers, no wait… people who might be Russian, or affiliated with the Russian government, or using tools used by Russian hackers can influence the US election system. Our registration system is so secure that it is impossible for any non-citizen residing in this country to cast a vote to which they are not entitled.

Pay no attention to those people behind the curtain. Remain calm and prepare to engage Russia.

“Philadelphia discovered that a glitch allowed hundreds of illegal voters to cast ballots”

To paraphrase the response that was given in the perhaps-apocryphal story about a customer who called tech support to report a bug in a certain company’s software, “That’s not a glitch — it’s a feature!”

The most corrupt our counrty hsd ever been.
Save for trump and the conservative caucus, wr have become a banana republic. only inertia has staved off complete disaster

Is the guy in the photo voting or taking a leak?

Crap like this is why the democrats don’t want any kind of investigation. If you want an investigation you are a racist, white supremacist, bigot, women hater. And you are mean! 🙂

Rhode Island has a population of just over a million people. According to the US Census Bureau, that means we should have in the vicinity of 592,652 voters. But we have 781,770 an overage of 189,000 registered voters. That comes out to be 20% fraud. That is not insignificant.

This doesn’t mean all 781,770 voted, just that they’re registered to vote. The potential for fraud is great. Remember, I’m talking about RI here. We’ve had dead people voting back to the privateer days.

Forty-four of those people voted in one election while 46 voted in more than one election.

44 + 46 hundreds of voters

    44 + 46 != hundreds of voters

Math is hard: 44*10 years= 440. And of course, that’s by no means all.

SDN: Math is hard: 44*10 years= 440. And of course, that’s by no means all.

That would be votes then, not voters per the headline.

About 700,000 votes were cast in Philadelphia County, so that would represent about 0.01% of the votes cast in 2016. Extrapolating nationwide, that would be about 20,000 ineligible votes in 2016. There are other sources of error that swamp this number, such as voting restrictions put in place to reduce minority turnout.

1 – no voter id required
2 – automatic voter enrollment with DMV paperwork

the genius of the founding fathers EC (which DummyCraps want to get rid of) means that to win National elections, you must win in small states as well as large, so getting EVERY vote in CA,NY which will give large numbers, but not even visiting small states, means losing nat’l elecion.

we are a large diverse electorate and pols need to attract a wide variety of people.
what is going on in europe with Brussels decing what member states HAVE TO DO, is causing the breakup up of the EU.
see brexit and poland, hungary refusing to take in muslims.

Note that these numbers are just the ones who were honest enough to ask for their registration to be cancelled once they found out they were ineligible. It’s likely that these people honestly never knew this earlier, and can’t be blamed for the illegal votes they cast. The ones who know they’re ineligible and don’t care, and the ones who still don’t know they’re ineligible, must number many more.
