Former Presidents Band Together To Help Hurricane Victims
“We’ve got more love in Texas than water”
We’re used to seeing these pleas from a montage of living Democrat and Republican presidents, but this is the first such ad to feature Obama.
The five living former U.S. presidents have expanded a previously announced national fundraising appeal for Hurricane Harvey victims to include Americans in the path of Hurricane Irma, the most powerful Atlantic storm on record, which is projected to make landfall in Florida on Saturday and then move up the eastern seaboard.
. . . . The “One America Appeal” was to launch Thursday with a public service announcement, “Our Friends in Texas,” during the NFL’s regular season opening game on NBC. A second PSA addressing the devastation from the back-to-back hurricanes will launch over the weekend.

On Tucker Carlson yesterday, it was mentioned that Bush 41 had set up the account such that ALL the overhead is covered, and so 100% of the donations will go directly to relief.
No matter what mistakes he or Bush 43 may have made in office, the Bushes are a class act.
I am reminded of a comment Obama made after running his harsh, hostile anti-Bush 43 campaign. He was asked if he could name positive aspect of Bush’s presidency, what would it be. Obama gave the most backhanded compliment ever. Obama said the amount of direct foreign aid Bush directed to central Africa was something positive, BUT Bush should have channeled the aid through international organizations such as the UN. Obviously Obama did not like that worthless UN bureaucrats were deprived of skimming their cut off the top.
Sorry, but I’m not donating money to anything Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Barack Obama are involved in.
Pray tell, how much of their OWN MONEY are Clinton and Obama donating??? I don’t fault either Bush or Jimmy Carter, since their net worth is nowhere near Clinton and Obama, but both Clinton and Obama have PARLAYED the Presidency into great wealth and they give little to nothing of their money to charity. FRAUDS! It was all about the Benjamins, wasn’t it, boys?
