A special request in the obituary for Elaine Fydrych

From NJ.com Obituary for Elaine Fydrich (emphasis added):

Elaine Fydrych Runnemede, NJ Elaine Fydrych (nee Szumanski), on August 13, 2015, of Runnemede, formerly of Gloucester Township. Age 63….Elaine was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and was a very talented child, singing, dancing, playing the piano and ukulele. She appeared on local children’s TV shows in the 1950’s and 60s like Chief Halftown and Happy the Clown. Later in life, Elaine discovered her love of the theater, acting and comedy. Elaine became affiliated with the Broadway theatre in Pitman, NJ and appeared in a number of productions there, starting with their opening production of Nunsense as Rev. Mother….Her acting skills led her to do commercials, corporate videos and minor parts in a few independent films. She was a natural at comedy and her standup act was part of a Comcast local comic special in 2008. But her love for the theater and family overshadowed her natural comic ability and found she did not have the time to do it all right and decided to concentrate on the theater…. Elaine requests, “In lieu of flowers, please do not vote for Hillary Clinton” ….

Great request, will add that to my will too.

good deal. Even after death some people keep doing good.

I miss her already and I did not have the pleasure of knowing her when she was alive. RIP and thanks for that obit!

Not a problem.

Wasn’t there another obituary a few months ago in which the person requested this also?

I don’t know about a few months ago, but I recall a obit of a man from the Fall of 2000 who requested a vote for Bush over Gore in lieu of flowers.

Why is this news? Her dying wish does not preclude voting for Sanders, O’Malley, Chaffee, Biden, Gore, Kerry, or whoever else the Dems decide merits the Oval Office. For all we know she was disappointed that DWS wasn’t being considered.

I know this will ring in downvotes mostly for callousness, but there are some serious stupidity implications here.

As you read, try to imagine this as shoe on the other foot for a minute with a true conservative candidate…

-This could start a very disturbing and tasteless trend

-You dying doesn’t automatically render your advice better. In fact, in regards to politics, your death means you won’t have to live with any consequences

-The misplaced reverence for this statement is along the same lines as many other very disturbing misplaced reverence trends in progressive SJW activism:

For example:
A rape victim’s opinion is more valuable regarding the validity of an unrelated rape case due to personal experiences.
A minority’s opinion should supersede the determination of whether or not a particular action is discriminatory over the opinion of the unprotected classes.
