Navigators gone wild

Navigators gone wild

I’ll have more in the morning about the non-fix fix. I’ve been out of pocket all afternoon and evening.

So for now, just sit back and enjoy some move Obamacare navigator fraud via James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas:

Project Veritas caught Obamacare Navigators counseling applicants to lie on their applications, which is cheating the federal government, the American taxpayer, and the countless families who truly need quality health care.

But critics are saying the video wasn’t in context and it was just an isolated incident. Certainly, our encounters might have been isolated, so we decided to visit with even more Navigators (who are funded by your hard-earned tax dollars).

And what did we find? Watch the video below and see for yourself!

Even worse, we learned that many agencies will have access to your private records after you submit your application.

I’ll get flamed for this but I get this. The people working these jobs aren’t making a lot of money and this is a one-on-one environment where people want to be relaxed and friendly as possible. Why would any of them take an antagonistic approach.. they just want to go home after 8 hours and hang their hats.

The legislation is the problem! We can have hours of fun watching these videos but it’s really no surprise to anybody.

I like what O’Keefe is doing but in this instance it’s meaningless in the gigantic scope of Obamacare. It’s a sideshow we all knew would be there…

I think O’Keefe is not so much seeking to blame individual navigators but highlighting that this law is going to foster inevitable and unavoidable waste and corruption.

I have the same reaction as Vince. There is nothing unexpected here.

So, we are all complicit in government fraud, waste, and abuse?

No, we are not. The Democrats are. They passed the law; they rammed and crammed it down our throats and said it had to be passed for us to know what was in it. Well, now we know. The law is a vehicle for voter fraud, identity theft, and the eradication of what it means to be an an American citizen, since anybody anywhere in the world can sign up, and likely receive a subsidy at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Your attitude to this reeks of defeatism. We did not want this. We did not ask for it. We are not complicit in it. We damn sure will vote out those who do not listen to us about it.

I think you’re way too optimistic there, my friend.

Perhaps you’re right. Perhaps I’m hoping THE BIG LIE has revolted and appalled so many that even the LINFOs will get a clue. If voters don’t make these people pay, we will have more of the same and worse, and this time, with our consent.

so if the job sucks its ok to lie about stuff and advise people to break the law.
    got it.

If anyone thinks the left is going to give up this fascist enabling act without a fight to the death, you are kidding yourselves.

It’s on.

All is proceeding as Obama intended. Nothing to see here, folks; move along, now.

drip, drip, drip……

Breitbart was here.

As soon as I heard the word “navigators” about a year and a half ago, I knew exactly what we were in for. It had that empty redolence of technical proficiency combined with the unlimited promise of pretentious and illicit cluelessness that is the stock in trade of modern liberalism.

I easily imagined the eager Obamabot navigators-to-be, plucked from the fertile training grounds of OFA, SEIU, Planned Parenthood and the urban landscapes of liberal largesse, ready to do the bidding of their overlords. The second coming of ACORN, but with more money and a bigger mission.

Vince, Lem, if you both are ok with fraud, waste and abuse, please don’t include my tax dollars in your assessments.

Nothing unexpected? If this is par for the course, we are already so screwed it just a matter of time before the ship sinks completely. Forgot the lifeboats, they’ve already been taken away.

I don’t know about you, but keeping this law out of sight and out of mind is not going to fix it. James O’Keefe is spot on to be pounding this into the narrative on a daily basis.

I keep hoping that people are going to educate themselves on this matter, but obviously there are just too many takers, and people who just want to game the system to be allowed free reign anymore.

The sad truth is that we are just re-enacting the fall of the Roman Republic. Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Vince and Lem didn’t say they were OK with waste fraud and abuse. They were pointing out that the same people who voted Obama into office (twice) were OK with it. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but in today’s America, the people who think the proper function of government is to “give them free shit” outnumber those of us who know our history.

I’m all for exposing these people but the “cowboy” humor distracts from the message IMHO.

Love the title of this article. I almost expect to hear “Navigators caught flashing their boo boos for you.”

The sickest thing for me is that this happened in my backyard. I can drive to almost all of these locations in minutes.

This is ridiculous. These “navigators” aren’t IRS enforcement officers. The people applying are the ones committing tax fraud, not the navigators. Are the navigators mandatory reporters? Are they required to report an act of fraud when it is confessed to them?

Again, it’s the applicants that are confessing to crimes. Maybe the navigators have the same crappy ethics as the applicants, but nonetheless they’re not the ones initiating the fraud, they’re just not arguing with the confessed criminal sitting across the desk from them.

My bet is that project veritas has recorded navigators that informed the applicant that they’re legally obligated to report all income, but the group has chosen not to share any of that footage…

IMHO… It just adds to what we know about the fraud that occurs in all government entitlement programs.
