Now we can dare call the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups a conspiracy

Now we can dare call the IRS targeting of Tea Party groups a conspiracy

The notion that a few “low level” local IRS employees went rogue is false.

The timeline appendices to the Inspector General’s report, released by ABC News, detail a far reaching conspiracy to target Tea Party groups with the knowledge of numerous supervisory and compliance persons within the IRS.

The timeline is embedded below.

You can now dare call it a conspiracy.

This appears to ramify across agency lines, too.

The Labor Department and other agencies need to be investigated.

Look for it to reach DHS as well. Remember the “fusion center” reports that had the same keywords to identify “domestic terrorists”?

Are we really supposed to believe that the “smartest man in the room,” The “Chicago Jesus,” the “Magic Negro” had some part of his administration running rogue for 3 years without somebody calling the White House to find out what was going on ?
Are we to believe that President Obama had been hoodwinked ? Been had ? Been took ? Been led astray, run amok ? Been bamboozled ?

Obama says first learned about the IRS controversy from news reports.

Notice that this says virtually nothing. Which reports ? When ??
There were reports of the Tea Party being audited since when ?

“Obama says first learned about the IRS controversy from news reports.”

      Uh-huh.

Remember Hillary’s telling about how the Clintons both learned about the Monica Lewinsky scandal?

She had Bill coming back to the bedroom in his PJs and slippers after picking up the morning paper on the White House’s front porch, and, reading the headline said, “Honey, you’re not going to believe this …”

Obama is now a LAME DUCK … no doubt about it.

This went on for 3 years, and just now he finds out what his administration is doing ?

The smartest man in his own mind

On both the IRS and Benghazi, I listened thinking…

“How stupid does he think we are?”

I was appalled at how crappy these lies were.

What did Eric Holder know ? .. and when did he forget it ?

    The EPA must be investigated.

Now that the camel has his nose under the ‘big tent’, I would also like to see how the RINOs and the Democrat party got together and marginalized several Tea Party people – starting with Mrs. Palin.

Yes, let everyone groan, but for some reason anyone associated with the Tea Party has been systematically marginalized with the assistance of Carl Rove and the RINO contingency of the Demokrat Apparatus. Does anyone wonder why the libs and RINOs are a bunch of gun grabbers?

March 2010? Over three years ago! What at this point does it matter now?

Its still going on. There are still at least 17 Tea Party groups that haven’t been able to get 501(c)4 status approved. Some going on 2 years after initial application.

All of these groups were trying to gear up for the elections last year. Not receiving non-profit status put a severe damper on donations.

This is an outrageous abuse of power.

Impeachable offense. The Impeachment articles drawn up against Nixon included this same charge, except in his case the IRS refused to do it and there was never a connection proved going back to Nixon himself. Here, we already have the proof they did it. Extensively and over several years, and we already know it extends to upper management, at least.

This kind of abuse of power is how republics turn into dictatorships. Its how people like Hugo Chavez make themselves ‘president for life’, with elections to legitmize their rule but those elections are nowhere near free.

Everyone involved at the IRS, and their supervisors, should be terminated and prosecuted. *Should*. Of course, they’ve already anounced that no one has been disciplined in any way and they don’t seem to be inclined to punish anyone ever.

    Unethical? Yes. Intolerable? Yes.

Impeachment requires a showing that the President was involved directly, and the required proof will be a signed executive order, or testimony by more than one witness.

I don’t see either of those as happening. Further, I don’t think Presidential involvement would be necessary for something like this to happen. There are strong indicators that this administration is rotten, but I just don’t see the proof being developed from this conduct.

It could be bigger than I think, though. There’s a local radio station that doesn’t carry requests or much commentary. It did carry a very short summary about this story, followed by Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth.”

Funny how the left doesn’t have a problem with the politicization of the IRS… when they are in charge.

Not so much a conspiracy as typical leftist bullying.

Leftists punish dissent – always have – always will.

PC means Punitive Conformity.

When comparing this IRS “adventure,” it should be noted that the Nixon White House reportedly looked at tax returns of individuals. They never directly went after anybody using IRS personnel, as the IRS has already admitted in this case.

This is much worse than anything Nixon did with the IRS.

REMEMBER – IRS targeting Conservatives is bad – but it’s also an attempt to cover Benghazi and the Obama administration of forcing the US taxpayer to fund and abet Al Queda and Islamic terrorism at home and abroad!

A little history, here. There was a time when Air Force officers that were masons got favorable treatment with respect to promotions. Masons don’t like Catholics. There was some DISfavor operating, as well.

Small-minded people of marginal competence are a perpetual danger in a large bureaucracy. When they run amok, they need to be limited in their activity, and some of them need to be terminated (fired, not killed. This is the US).

We’ll know the extent of the conspiracy when we see how many people are removed from their positions.

This was one of the articles of impeachment raised against Nixon.

The Republicans in the House should do two things right now:

1) Start talking about impeachment…but don’t actually do it.

2) Come up with legislation to slap the IRS down – ideally embracing truly radical tax reform.

Oh, and they should specifically always talk in the context of “The Obama Administration’s targeting of opposition political groups through the IRS”.

This is a serious scandal and the Republicans need a spine for once. Impeaching Obama isn’t going anywhere, at least yet. But they can make him pay a major political price, but only if they do something concrete.

So make him defend the IRS and the current tax structure, now.

Instead of vowing to fire those individuals who abused their official power in such an outrageous manner, Obama says that the IRS will be held “accountable”. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? Nothing. The “IRS” is not a person, and does not care if it’s blamed or “held accountable”. What’s he going to do, spank it?

“Mistakes were made” but not by me…

Pirro does a very nice job of nailing Pres. Side Show and the Obami here.

Just because your paranoid doesn’t meant they aren’t after you! Joseph Heller, Catch 22

All of a sudden, being a conspiracy “nut” isn’t so nutty. This conspiracy theory has a far more factual basis than the anthropogenic global warming theory….

Obama should appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and prosecute any one who broke the law.
