don't tread 2012 | December 8, 2012 at 3:27 pm

A standard-bearer of the party of irony, the democrats. This modern ‘culture’ creature has been relieved of his responsibilities, with no morals to trip him up; he is just aptly responding to his operating-system parameters.

He paid his rent with what used to be called, ‘poontang’ in the South.

TrooperJohnSmith in reply to Uncle Samuel. | December 8, 2012 at 5:48 pm

In the Marine Corps, it’s still called poontang!

And how idiotic is the continual mantra of the Ebonics-infested, developmentally-arrested, libido-ingested mind:

      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?
      “Know’m sayin’?”

Is Obama going to nominate him as Treasury Secretary to replace Geithner?

This young gentleman, like Trayvon Martin, is another of ‘Obama’s sons’. Obama’s education was also gotten at the beneficience of the American taxpayer, plus a few rich Pakistanis and Saudis.

GrumpyOne in reply to Uncle Samuel. | December 8, 2012 at 6:09 pm

…not to mention that Obama has admitted on network television that he has trouble with math beyond the elementary school level.

The pieces are falling into place..

Ah yes, the forty-seven percenter mentality. 🙁

In an “opposites attract” world …

… their love was doomed from the start.

That was painful to watch.

This is what happens when you systematically destroy the nuclear family with the promise of government cheese.

That young man has absolutely no sense of right or wrong, nor any perceivable notion of why his actions are reprehensible, you know what I’m sayin’?

The fact that he wipes his nose with the entirety of his wrist and hand is proof positive that no one paid any attention to introducing him into polite society. I’m supposed to shake that man’s hand at some point? Yuck. Where’s the hand sanitizer… Never mind, I’ll use a blowtorch, instead.

We are so screwed…

He really, honestly does not understand her reasoning! Is it his ignorance or his moral code? Or both? He really believes that he should be paid for “being me”! And by the way, yeah I do know what you’re sayin! Whitey gotta pay!

Multiply this guy and his former girlfriend by 10 million and you’ve got california. Eisenhowers’ “domino theory” may been correct all along. We just didn’t realize the first domino would be california.

L.N. Smithee in reply to jasond. | December 9, 2012 at 3:52 am

You know that brief feeling of terror when you’re driving in wet conditions and you find yourself hydroplaning and heading toward a guard rail or another vehicle? That feeling that it’s inevitable that you’re going to crash, and it’s just a matter of how badly you’re hurt and how much it will cost you?

That’s what it feels nowadays to be a California resident with no hope of relocating.

Folks, if you aren’t absolutely steeped in what’s happening in what used to be The Golden State, you have NO idea what’s going on. Jerry Brown is trying to create a legacy for himself before he croaks, and is hoping that will include the extravagant, unneeded so-called “high speed rail” stretching north to south. Arnold Schwarzenegger earlier wanted his landmark to be a state-funded multibillion dollar stem-cell research program that has yielded NO breakthroughs, and was the main driver behind the recently-begun job-killing cap-and-trade program that California voters foolishly approved. And Ahnuld’s predecessor Gray Davis, in his haste to buy the loyalty of public employee unions, installed the Sacramento plumbing flushing hundreds of billions of dollars to pension funds based on the expectation that the dot-com boom would never end. Oops.

Add on top of that the fact the Republican Party is for all intents and purposes non-existent in the state after Democrats won a supermajority in the Senate and Assembly. That means that not only can tax increases can be passed by the legislature without two-thirds voter approval, it means those approvals can survive Brown’s veto (which could allow him to position himself as being fiscally responsible when he’s not).

Well, so what, you may ask — Dems are overreaching. Things are cyclical. It will come back to bite them if they go too far. Not so fast (pay attention, it gets into deep weeds here).

As part of a deal to temporarily close a budget gap during the Schwarzenegger fiasco, RINO State Senator Abel Maldonado — who had a speaking part at the 2008 Republican Convention — crossed party lines and cast a tie-breaking vote. He was rewarded by Dem support of his pet legislation — a bill that made California general elections competitions between the top two vote-getters in open primaries. That means that each final vote could potentially be between two candidates of the same party. Guess how well that worked out for Republican candidates.

The grateful Schwarzenegger also appointed Maldonado to the Lieutenant Governor position replacing John Garamendi, who left after winning the retired Ellen Tauscher’s Congressional seat. Maldonado thought with the top-two system in place and his advantage over any challenger as an incumbent, he would be a shoo-in for election to a full term when his centrism and Hispanic heritage was factored in. Then, former S.F. Mayor Gavin Newsom, having earlier realized he couldn’t beat Brown for Governor, jumped late into the Lt. Gov. race, and soundly defeated Maldonado.

Undeterred, Maldonado ran for a newly-drawn Congressional district vs. ensconced liberal Dem Lois Capps. Despite L.A.’s NBC affiliate’s declaration that his top-two gambit was a success because he might not have faced Capps in November otherwise, he still lost — as did nearly every Republican on the ballot facing a Democrat. Maldonado hoist himself with his own petard twice! More importantly, because of his selfish ambition, chances that a Pub will be able to supplant any important official in California anytime soon are slim to none.

That’s a primer for you folks in the forty-something remaining sane states. Learn from California’s mistakes so you won’t have to suffer them yourselves. Meanwhile, I’m working on a petition to change the state bird from the California Golden Quail to the Coal Mine Canary.

It is a dissociation of risk which causes corruption. It is dreams of instant gratification which motivates its progress.

The landlord is the one really screwed. He/she invested their time, money and energy and has received nothing in return – not even what is due. This is not social justice. It is exactly the opposite – progressivism.

The rest of us are screwed, too, when you see the ROI of our taxpayer monies.

Freddie Sykes | December 8, 2012 at 5:04 pm

In 2008, too few people asked what a community organized did. Their main role is to encourage a sense of entitlement, resentment and division.

Those are is the methods Obama has continue to use as president.

For both him and his former girlfriend scamming is a lifestyle.

She was being sued for rent she did not pay (apparently on a lease she signed) after trying to scam the landlord, while he had scammed her with his “I’m your man. Why should I pay rent? Aren’t I givin’ you your money’s worth baby?”

And he was also scamming the government.

But then the government was scamming the taxpayers so I guess everyone was just paying it forward.

The question I have is, who can I, the taxpayer, scam?

TrooperJohnSmith | December 8, 2012 at 5:34 pm

Just after LBJ signed “The Great Society” into law, he reportedly said to his buddy Lester Maddox, “Well, now I ‘spect the n*****s is gonna be votin’ Democrat for the next two-hunne’d years!”

Affirmative action + welfare = this guy.

But we have a bigger problem: fascism —
Obama’s attack on rural America, based on their vote:
http://thefinereport.com/2012/12/the-lefts-attack-on-rural-america-our-presidents-attack-actually/

The worst one in that video was “Judge” Judy. She was supposed to be deciding the issue of whether the male owed the female rent money. Relevant facts would have been what was the agreement between the two, and did each of the two parties honor their end of the agreement. She was interested in everything except the relevant facts of the case.

jdkchem in reply to Anon Y. Mous. | December 8, 2012 at 6:39 pm

Had little miss Sandra Julia Shabazzzzz had said “Yes ma’am I paid rent every month from Sept. to Jan.” Judge Judy would have judged in her favor. Did you miss that part?

Eliot Ness in reply to Anon Y. Mous. | December 9, 2012 at 9:59 pm

It’s a binding arbitration, not a court case. Judy did the right thing, walking off

Please — get over yourself. This is a 7 minute clip from a 1/2 hour arbitration reality show the main purpose of which is entertainment, but anyone with any common sense knows that you can have no idea what other questions Judge Judy asked from a 7 minute clip. Secondly, the “relevant” questions are whatever the judge says they are — anyone with the smallest knowledge/experience with tribunals knows that (and questions as to character to help determine if someone is trustworthy/truthful in a “he said, she said” case are extremely relevant). Third of all, your “ironic” quotes around “judge” are misplaced — while Judy Sheindlin is the star of the arbitration reality show known as “Judge Judy” she served as a judge in NYC for more than 10 years (and just like former Presidents, Governors, Senators, etc retain their title out of respect, so do former judges) — anyone raised in civilized society knows that.

Where. Do. I. Sign. Up?

Where do I go to get 70k to help pay for an education AND 436 a month for RENT on top?

Good. Grief.

I’m more of a “help those to help themselves” kind of guy. When folks are talking takers and stuff, I get a little pissed that they are lumping a lot of deserving people who will be worth the assistance and that we at least should try to help them. But this guy (and his cohort) are just amazing. They do not understand economics.

Every teacher and principal he ever had should be taken out and horsewhipped.

What the hell do they teach in school anymore? They don’t teach math, or reading or english or literature or history or economics or science it seems.

What do they teach kids?

    Casey in reply to jakee308. | December 9, 2012 at 9:50 pm

jakee, that’s what I’m asking myself. 10 years ago I went back to school to get (finish) a degree in Systems Analysis. $436/month for rent & $70k in grants/etc and I would have ended up with a degree and money in the bank! Instead I ended up with a degree and no offers (was 44 when graduated, 53 now), not to mention a bunch of debt.

I’m obviously the wrong skin color. 🙁

SoCA Conservative Mom in reply to jakee308. | December 9, 2012 at 10:41 pm

He also gets $1000 per month stipend. So, $22K year tuition, $437/month rent money, and $1,000 for God knows what… comes out to $117,732 in the 3 years he’s scammed the system. Did you see the look in his eye when Judge Judy pointed out that the govt had wasted $70k on him. You could just see he was surprised at the amount he got but that he wished he had the cash in his pocket instead of an “education.”

When you’re handing out the beatings, include everyone in his family, starting with mom and then the sp*rm donor. Mom should be horsewhipped for allowing her son to believe so highly of himself that his time and attention is worth being supported for his entire life by the govt and every female that crosses his path. Am I the only one that can predict that his sp*rm donor was pretty much absent from his life, well, except for the day of the month the welfare check arrived at his baby mama’s mailbox? Go ahead call me a racist. I would say the same thing about anyone with his attitude. You learn it from a young age.

What do Timothy Geitner (taxes) and the defendant (rent) have in common? It’s not YOUR money it was given to you for a purpose and if you don’t use it for that purpose, no matter the reason, GIVE IT BACK IT’S NOT YOUR MONEY !!!

    jakee308 in reply to Oldfogey. | December 8, 2012 at 7:20 pm

we actually would be better off giving everyone a check like McGovern talked about then this pile of programs that don’t really check a persons eligibility or their claims because they don’t have the manpower or time to do so.

They spend more than what gets to the “clients” to administer these programs.

Just give everyone over 18 a check every year for 12k and tell them that if they want any more money they have to give up their check and their privacy and the right to live where they want to.

See how fast they could figure out how to get by on 12k all of a sudden.

I knew this guy who worked as a contractor for the Social Security Administration.
He told me that at the end of the year, it they can get their books to close within a few hundred million dollars that they think they are doing just great.

But the better story was about how they would go out to find out what happens when checks aren’t cashed. In one case, they sought out the man and found him at a trailer camp. They knocked on his door and introduced themselves. After talking a bit they asked him if he had received SSA checks for the last few years and he replied “yes.” The asked why he didn’t cash them, he replied that he had “gotten back as much as he had put into the the system and stopped.” Then then said ” no, no,no, you can cash them .. they are yours,” he replied “no, he had gotten back what he put in.” They then asked what had happened to the checks ,, he opened a drawer and there they were. They asked why he kept them then, he replied that he figured eventually that “the SSA would figure it out and come for them.”

Not that the election didn’t prove it, but I knew we passed the rubicon when I heard this caller on Rush saying that for the first time in his life (he’s 45), he finally understood that government money wasn’t “free” : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=XNI1_SWFTK8
~sigh

Over two decades ago, I wrote that I would be hunting, if I were a young black man…

I’d be hunting the people who tried to steal my manhood, and had successfully stolen the manhood of others like me.

Of course, the addled, dependent child of female persuasion in this clip has never had the need to be an adult, either.

What a waste of humanity.

Is that a striped beige & brown cardigan ?

Please tell me I am only seeing the top half & there are no buttons .

It’s both moral and intellectual decay that’s destroying us. I had a girl who worked for me who gave away products to her friend. I caught her and confronted her about her stealing. She never would admit that what she did was stealing. I rehearsed it like she was three years old, point by point, and she refused to admit that she was wrong. She has a Ph.D. in biology. Welcome to the post-modern world, where nothing matters.

If I find the time, I will post on YouTube a fresher case from Judge Sheindlin’s courtroom that illustrates the evaporation of family values among too many (but NOT “all”) black Americans.

Let me interject at this point that I am a black man myself.

A proud Obama voter, no doubt. Where’s my Obamaphone at? I needs to make me a call.

That’s the whole problem with our society right there. Our country has created a generation of losers living off the winners. Sad to say but I think another civil war may be the only way to fix this.
