Susan Rice withdraws from consideration for Secretary of State

Via NBC News:

Embattled U.N. envoy Susan Rice is dropping out of the running to be the next secretary of state after months of criticism over her Benghazi comments, she told NBC News on Thursday.

“If nominated, I am now convinced that the confirmation process would be lengthy, disruptive and costly – to you and to our most pressing national and international priorities,” Rice wrote in a letter to President Obama, saying she’s saddened by the partisan politics surrounding her prospects.

“That trade-off is simply not worth it to our country…Therefore, I respectfully request that you no longer consider my candidacy at this time,” she wrote in the letter obtained by NBC News.

The letter is embedded at the bottom of this post.

Don’t worry, the kenyan will find another way to reward this woman who so willingly did his dirty work for him.

If he hadn’t had her skirts to hide behind, the whole world might know what an empty suit he is when it comes to foreign policy and protecting our people abroad….

Come on, four years of the same BS and you really think this would be the straw that breaks the camels back? By January 2017 we’ll have barry postage stamps and barry $1000 bills to buy a loaf of bread. The entire democrat political machine just doubled down on stupid because it was easier than admitting they f-ed up.

I want to see more pics of Susan when she was black. I kinda miss the Angela Favis look. It appears girls who looked like that went out with the Fro. But where did they go?

Well it didn’t take long. Andrea Mitchell is already playing the race card by saying the GOP forced out a “woman of color.” Don’t they ever get tired of this or is it just that because they are a mutual admiration society they pat each other on the back and continue. Did anyone ever examine what this woman has done? Her credentials? Or are we simply supposed to accept her at face value because we are told to do so? I am so fed up with the media and its dishonesty.

No: they will never get tired of this. It’s all they got.

Yes: it is a mutual admiration society, because no one else will admire them.

Yes: we examined her credentials, and she is as underqualified as Hillary Clinton.

No: we will not accept her at face value. You’ll notice she is out. Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice — they are each, and collectively all, a house of cards, waiting for the bottom to be pulled out. Let’s work to be sure that happens as soon as possible.

Yes: ALL of us 59 million are fed up with the media and its corruption. But don’t expect it to change without our forcing change WE can believe in.

FIRST: we need to have GOP leaders we can believe in. We don’t. Replacing them is JOB ONE.

See? What was so hard?

Now, let’s get rid of an unappreciative, backstabbing loser named John Boehner, and we’ll really be on the upswing.

Maybe I’m not getting something. Rick Klein tweeted that this was a good day for John Kerry and Scott Brown. I get why it would be a good day for Kerry, and he’s probably short-listed for the SoS position.

But good for Scott Brown? Anybody who thinks Deval Patrick is going to reappoint Scott Brown to the Senate is out of their minds. He’s an Ultra Liberal hack, who will likely try to appoint another individual in the mold of Elizabeth Warren, the faux Native American. Given the opportunity, Gov. Patrick is going to appoint a leftist.

Dem bench in MA is weak, as evidenced by Tammany Hall having to bring in Lieawatha from Oklahoma by way of DC. Deval won’t appoint Scott, probably Paul Kirk or some other hack who wants the glitz and glamor of a Senate seat for a few months but has no interest in campaigning. SB will run again in the special election, as for who the Dems will put up, that’s a bit of a mystery. Remember Liveshot’s term expires in 2014, so whoever wins the special, has to hit the stump again in short order for the full term nod.

This is merely to cover up the shameful conduct of the President himself since the GOP during the Senate hearings would be able to fully ask her publicly about ALL the events of the Benghazi time line. The classic “what did you know and when did you know it.” Obama doesn’t want to be hit in a bank shot using Rice.

Here is what Obama doesn’t want us to hear, there were heros in Benghazi:

Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty killed 60 of almost 200 attackers in an epic 6 hour fire fight. Two men held off almost 200 attackers over 6 hours. HEROS…HEROS…

The incompetent Obama flacks covered themselves with shame by refusing multiple times to allow an AC 130 Spectre gunship to support their defense of the consulate. In a par for the course failure ala Gulf Oil spill, the Obama flacks refused to ask the British who had significant assets in the area for help.

Obama can never acknowledge the true events of Benghazi because it would expose him for the feckless incompetent he is. Now let’s change the subject before he gets a conscience.
