Best. Political. Ad.

Best. Political. Ad.

I’m not sure this qualifies for the “Ever” award (I’m still partial to this), but it is a fantastic commercial.

Fantastic.

Fantastic, and I almost put another word before that.

The Murphy response? To criticize West’s military record involving the now famous incident when he zealously interrogated a hostile.

Good luck with that, Murphy. Terrorists just killed our Ambassador, and you are going to attack West’s interrogation techniques?

I LOVE Allen West! Whenever I meet a political candidate, I ask them one question that tells me just about everything I need to know: “How can I pray for you?” Allen West has given me the best answer so far. He answered, “Wisdom. Please pray for me to have the kind of wisdom found in James chapter 3.”

Good googly moogly, talk about a TKO. More, please.

Excellent ad. Romney’s campaign should hire the people who made this ad. We face a stark choice in the November election. Romney’s ads need to make clear to voters exactly what that choice is. Stop pussyfooting around.

Reminds me of McCain’s “I was tied up at the time” comment on Woodstock. Which was, by far, the best thing he ever said.

Yes, an excellent ad by West who, by any standard, is a true American hero and we are blessed to have him as a U.S. Representative. In a less politically correct time, Alan West would have been promoted for the incident in which he threatened an adversary in Iraq to protect his troops.

In my opinion, Alan West has the most fundamentally correct principles and adherence to those principles of any politician. He he can articulate them concisely and persuasively and he knows history and can readily summon evidence to support his positions.

West in 2016 0r 2020!! Depending.

Actually, its brilliant in its simplicity and it goes to the character of the two men. Who to chose indeed? I agree with Observer. Romney needs this West’s ad team.

[…] The Allen West ad is about leadership and the American people deciding who is needed now for the crisis at hand. THAT’S WHAT THIS AD IS ABOUT – and this ad can easily be used as a template for Mitt Romney ads and Mitt Romney specifically (as we stated above, more on this next week as we provide our best debate advice). […]

Murphy attacked West on the gun shot past the terrorist’s head to make him talk so West could keep his men safe?

ROFL!!!!

This was the same incident that brought West to America’s approving attention cuz West didn’t hide it but went on right after to tell his CO what he’d done?

ROFLMAO!!!

Go ahead, Murphy! Remind Americans of what a genuine standup tough straight shootin’ guy Allen West is. Great way to defeat him.

Well, another type of “Ever Award” might have been secured yesterday by Mary C. Curtis’s piece about Elizabeth Warren in the Washington Post yesterday.

I don’t know who or what Mary C. Curtis is, but she is Exhibit A for the proposition that we live in a GREAT country, because an addled-brained and feeble-minded person like her would have starved to death a long time ago in just about any other country. Somehow, I suspect that this “journalist” or “columnist” is the reason why that Buddhist Monk self-immolated himself outside the Cambodian embassy in Saigon in June 1963. Sure, Mary C. Curtis may not have even been conceived, let alone born, yet, but that monk knew what that something wicked this way comes. Strike that, something extremely fatuous or disingenuous. Guess the Washington Post is as determined to wreck its franchise as the New York Times and Harvard Law School are to continue wrecking theirs.

Memo to Ms. Curtis – Frankly, it was a stroke (no pun intended) of genius for someone to mock Ms. Warren with a Tomahawk chop. If Ms. Warren does not respond, then, maybe she is not even 3.125% Native American or does not care about Native American’s sentiments. If she does respond to it, then we have a person who felt, at some point in her life, that it was relevant that she was not 32/32nds European descent, but only 31/32nds European descent, and 1/32nd Native American (which we will assume, arguendo, is 100% correct), and therefor entitled to call herself a “person of color.”

Love it!

Col. West is on my list. Tomorrow.

It’s simple. If you have to go to war and you have to fight, who would you rather follow up that hill in the middle of nowhere, Murphy or West?

‘Yo, Murphy…Focus, Little Dude: Buuu-Byeeeeeeee…!

Allen West is literally one of my favorite politicians. A few things I’d like to point out in regards to the Iraq Interrogation incident:

If it’s about the lives of my soldiers at stake, I’d go through hell with a gasoline can.

And, from Allen West’s own statement:

There was no attack and no further attacks have emanated from the town since the apprehension of Mr {redacted} his named associates.
I accept full responsibility for my actions and accept any punishment. I acted in the best interest for my Soldiers and yes myself. The night of this action I informed COL {redacted} what I had personally done firing my weapon. I also had Mr {redacted} examined by my PA, {redacted} who reported back no serious injuries or bleeding on {redacted}. The following day at my Battalion update brief I informed by Battery Commanders, 1SGs. and staff of my actions This was not to boast but rather personally accepting responsibility and to not attempt to conceal my actions.

Although there are some cases of clear cut wrong-doing in combat zones, this is not one of them. Personally, I don’t like to question the actions of Soldiers in combat, it takes away from the ability of our leaders to think on the spot and do what was best for their Soldiers. Allen West believes what he did was in the best interests of his Soldiers, and he was completely forthcoming about his actions with his leadership. To the outside world his actions may seem cruel, but in the eyes of his Soldiers, he risked his own career to keep them safe, and he didn’t even injure anyone in the process. You’d have to be a special kind of idiot to vote for that trust baby over Allen West. Steadfast and Loyal.

Patrick Murphy’s next ad: “Um, uh… I’m a Cherokee!”

This country needs a few thousand like Allen West serving in responsible public positions.

Whatta guy!

Brilliant ad. Once again, Allen West shows that the best course of action is to stand up for what you know to be right.

The man West interrogated was an Iraqi policeman, who was probably innocent. West supervised a beating, and then pushed the man’s head into a barrel, mock-executing the man by firing a gun off beside his head. West has since said “It’s possible that I was wrong about Mr. Hamoodi.”
