Is there anything Elizabeth Warren can’t do?

Is there anything Elizabeth Warren can’t do?

As reported by National Journal (via TWS)(emphasis mine):

“Every now and again, I meet with someone who’s been very successful on Wall Street, who says, ‘I want to support your campaign because I believe you will save capitalism. I believe in capitalism, and I understand there have to be rules. And they have to be consistently enforced.’ That’s what I think is at stake in this election.”

Saving capitalism….

Not quite as impressive as being the first nursing mother ever to take the Bar Exam in New Jersey:

or the first Native American Senator from Massachusetts:

but still impressive.

She hit .337 in the 1985 World Series too. Must be saving the release of that accomplishment for late October.

Warren fits the bill of qualifications as defined by the democrats perfectly.

Inflated record and qualification, master of obfuscation, outright lying about one’s status as a “minority etc.

The only thing that will save her butt is the large spoon fed liberal voter base in that district.

If this happens, it will only strengthen the decline of America in the heart of the American Revolution where it all began a couple of centuries ago…

One name, Lizzy. Give us ONE NAME. Anybody can make sh!t up, you know, like Indian ancestry, elopement fables, etc.

Ms. Warren, you are to Capitalism what a driving downpour is to a picnic.

More Cowbell!

Wasn’t she the first woman on the moon?

But she is the first woman to make a fool of herself so titanically since Hillary Clinton’s string of showings.

There is at least one thing Lizzie Warren can’t (or won’t) do: tell the truth.

I’m sure she has met plenty of people who claim to have been successful on Wall Street. As she can’t distiguish truth from fiction as it passes from her lips there’s no reason to believe she can distiguish it as it enters her ears.

Lizzie Warren using socialism to “save capitalism” is like Lt. Calley saving the village by burning it.

“Is there anything Elizabeth Warren can’t do?”

Well, hell, NO…!!!

After all SOMEBODY has to save capitalism, and heaven knows…

“You didn’t do that…”

Anybody who would say ” I believe you will save capitalism. ” has led a sheltered life surrounded by nannies and pink pillows. Hello! Elizabeth is out to destroy capitalism. She’ll let you think your corner of the capitalist world is being saved because she is going to use you. If the author of that statement had ever had their lunch or their lunch money taken from them, they would understand.

Considering Elizabeth said somebody said this, was that somebody a real, still living person, or is it a voice in her head?

Oh, I don’t doubt there are any number of Wall Streeters who would say or think that – Jon Corzine, for example. It’s insane, but hey – Obama is President of the United States. It’s a topsy-turvy world.

or the first verified liar running for…….wait….nevermind 🙂

That small business you started didn’t save capitalism, Lieawatha Warren’s Communism did that!

Exactly how does she know she was the first nursing mother to take the New Jersey Bar? As with her claim to be a Cherokee, the actual facts are really not so important. It’s more a state of mind.

It’s absolutely remarkable that Lizzy is being touted as the first woman, perhaps, to be nominated for president by a major party. Absolutely remarkable.

Yep, Lizzy’s qualifications might make her qualified to be a BIA Agent for the DeadWood Tribe but not much else.

I think we need a daily Super Warren comic strip to keep up with Warrens’ increasing incredibleness.

After Mayor Meninos appalling bigoted behavior last week, Saturday night I saw the ad with Ray Flynn endorsing Scott Brown. WOW, is all I can say. Meninos gang tried to say that Flynns endorsement was INSIGNIFICANT but no way. The Catholic vote in MA is being diverted to the Republicans for the first time in my lifetime. Where is the press on that? The Democratic Party platform today, with Barney Franks help, declared same-sex marriage part of the party platform. They alienated all the Catholics across the United States.

The 1% LGBT community cannot lead the other 99% of the population. And especially Irish and Italian Catholics.

They alienated most Christians across the fruited plains except for that small tribe that tells us they are progressive and don’t really believe in God but are Christian nevertheless.

Is there anything Elizabeth Warren can’t do?

Yea, get my vote.

1. Warren’s Ben Tre logic: it is necessary to destroy capitalism in order to save it.

2. “Every now and again, I meet with someone who’s been very successful on Wall Street, who says, ‘I want to support your campaign because I believe you will save capitalism. I believe in capitalism, and I understand there have to be rules. And they have to be consistently enforced.’

My understanding is that Warren is being supported by Wall Street trial lawyers who know she will create more things that financial institutions can be sued for.

It’s true that such people have been “very successful on Wall Street”, but I wonder if Warren isn’t being misleading to the point of lying by omission.

3. What does saving capitalism have to do with representing the Massachusetts? Warren is a dangerous demagogue who views the Senate as a momentary steppingstone to national power.

The Brown campaign should point out that either Warren is nuts or she is running for President. As it were, Only one candidate in the race is running to represent the people of Massachusetts. The other is a carpetbagger with eyes firmly fixed on national office.

The Brown campaign should ask why Obama didn’t appoint Warren to head the capitalism-saving agency she created.

4. Rumor has it that she may keynote the Democratic convention. That might tip the scales in the MA Senate race, but I suspect and hope that it would also reveal to the country at large what a power-hungry radical she is.

    5. Just as Obama made people miss Bush, President Warren would make people miss Obama.

Hopefully we won’t put that proposition to the test.

This is mentally disturbed. The woman is delusional.

Maybe she is, but she’s selling her stuff to the Mass. voter. And at the moment she and Scott Brown are basically neck and neck.

Obviously that says very little for the Mass. voter. Then again, the Mass. voter has a history of fecklessness. E.g., McGovern in 1972, Fat Boy Ted Kennedy for more than 45 years. Yikes!

This seems to be her response for the flak she is getting from her association with Obama’s “you didn’t build that”.

But Warren said, “Now look, you built a factory and it turned into something terrific, or a great idea? God bless. Keep a big hunk of it.”

I guess she means a hunk of the profits, but she didn’t say “most”, so can she define what a “big hunk” is, exactly? After all the risks and troubles, Warren will graciously bestow the capitalist with the right to keep a third of the profits, the rest is hers?

What if the union gets in the factory, and tells me they want a big chunk of my factory profits, of they will break it? What if Obama takes me to court for going to a right to work state? What if the EPA shuts me down on bogus rules, because I gave money to a Republican candidate? What if Obama declares a moratorium on my production, just because he can?

Do public unions need to be regulated, or just private enterprise?

TrooperJohnSmith | July 30, 2012 at 10:06 pm

Can she pee standing up?

Sorry, I went there.

Juba Doobai! | July 30, 2012 at 11:11 pm

The simple and very obvious answer that Scott Brown can and should make to Warren’s assertion that emulating China’s model of infrastructure spending is what America ought to do: a video depicting the ghost cities of China. Lots of money spent on roads, government buildings, housing, malls, lighting … but nobody lives there.

The difference between capitalism and communism is this: capitalism acts to meet demand; communism shows a field of dreams only works where there is demand.

She’s fantastic…she’s excellent…she’s phenomenal…she’s superb…she’s..she’s…..a liar. Yes, that’s what she is. A liar.

Steve Burri | July 31, 2012 at 7:29 am

After all, she IS 1/32 capitalist.

Lieawatha can’t save capitalism alone. Somebody else has to help her along the way. What a bunch of BS from the party of BS. How people can believe these idiots is beyond me. Once a liar, always a liar.

Warren will “save” Capitalism just like the fox in the White House is trying to save us chickens (and our economy).

Don’t you just love it when these clueless Liberal voters try to rationalize about the reasons that they always for the Donkey Party candidate. They need to go to a business college next time and re-take Logic 101.

I think that there is a useful bumper sticker somewhere out there with the phrase “She-Lies-A-Bit Warren” on it. Her name describes her perfectly.

Henry Hawkins | July 31, 2012 at 1:22 pm

Wherein I = Intellect and E = Emotion:

I over E = Sanity
E over I = Insanity

The reader can decide whether uber liberals allow their emotions to overrule intellect.

Obama was considered The Great Orator based not on the content of his speeches – they were all boilerplate liberalism heard one thousand times before – but on his ability to generate emotion among his listeners/supporters. Four years later, the bolierplate content remains the same, but no longer generates the emotional response because the passage of time and establishment of his record has allowed intellect to catch up with emotion among listeners.

Consider the list of libs who most frequently make the media: DWS, B. Frank, C. Schumer, etc., and until last year, A. Weiner, et al. They all try the same thing – appealing to emotions rather than pitching a logical, reasonable argument. Most times there is no logical, reasonable argument, but they still go for the heart strings every time. It ain’t working anymore and the 2010 midterms especially showed it. So, logic and reason rarely apply, and emotional appeals are no longer working. What to do, what to do? LIE, LIE, LIE… and that’s what we’re starting to see now, the last resort of the scoundrel politician.

If things continue the way they are going, Elizabeth Warren may be the only Democrat at the National Convention.
