Disturbed

Disturbed

There is something seriously disturbed with Lawrence O’Donnell.  Who ever thought we would long for the days of Keith Olbermann.

A lawyer representing an accused has no obligation to present defense evidence on television.  O’Donnell knows that, his outrage is feigned and phony.  O’Donnell is not stupid, he knows exactly what he is doing.

Bill O’Reilly had it right tonight.  MNSBC is stoking violence in the event the facts do not play out the way people like O’Donnell hope.

O’Donnell is utterly despicable and everyone know that. On the other hand, it might have been prudent for him to appear on O’Donnell’s show and point out that he has no obligation – and perhaps has a negative obligation – to disclose anything on the TV show.

I don’t see how it was prudent for Zimmerman’s attorney to refuse to appear on O’Donnell’s show, but future events may show me to be in error.

NOBODY should ever appear on any of those MSNBC shows. Period.

And why did the President speak about Trayvon? Because he was asked a question by a reporter … from MSNBC.

The President has really got to worry that he is being sucked into this morass by the cloud of race-hating race-baiting flies from MSNBC. He has used them in the past, but now they are using him.

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Neo. | March 31, 2012 at 6:37 pm

Maybe…..but there was no real need for him to comment this soon in the controversy unless he was reverting to his community organizer ways. He could have waited, later saying he waited in order to let the investigation be completed in an unbiased way, and looked more like a measured leader (not that a president has any business being involved in this kind of a case in the first place). Instead, he chose to jump in and stir the pot almost as soon as it hit the big time.

Why? I think he did it to stir the pot because he can’t help himself. He’s a racist and an Alinskyite, and he thinks this will inspire blacks to turn out for him in November because he’s showing himself to be on their side, the black side.

sablegsd in reply to Neo. | March 31, 2012 at 8:49 pm

Baloney. He NEVER takes questions after his photo ops. It was a set up, by comrade downgrade and his own personal pravda.

    Rosalie in reply to nomadic100. | March 31, 2012 at 8:34 am

I think that Zimmerman’s lawyer is acting responsibly by not going on any TV show – and that’s a welcome relief. And I don’t think the day will ever come, Prof., that I would long for Olbermann to return. Ironically, I think Bush is the one who kept him employed.

We are witnessing the beginning of another, more vigorous, stage of Obama-fueled racism. Does anyone think we will not have riots in American streets this summer?

Neo in reply to Rick. | March 30, 2012 at 11:57 pm

Civil rights leaders condemn Sharpton’s call for escalated civil disobedience

Sharpton called for an escalation in peaceful civil disobedience and economic sanctions, although he did not say what those sanctions might be.

Turner Clayton, the Seminole County chapter president of the NAACP, reacted immediately to Sharpton’s warning, saying, “We hope that the citizens of Sanford will govern themselves accordingly. We are not calling for any sanctions, against any business or anyone else. And, of course, what Rev. Sharpton does, that’s strictly the [National] Action Network. We can’t condone that part of the conversation, if that’s what he said.”

Clayton said he believes that the expected 3,000 people who will attend Saturday’s march and rally in Sanford will realize the difference between Sharpton’s message and the NAACP’s mission.

“I don’t think they can confuse that,” Clayton said. “It’s just that they will have to make a judgment as to whether they want to follow the mission of the NAACP or follow what the Rev. Sharpton said.”

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Neo. | March 31, 2012 at 3:36 am

The NAACP got burned rather badly by their support for Crystal Mangum, the drug-addled, trick-turning neurotic dancer in the Duke lacrosse case. I think there are a few uncivil rights groups trying to keep an arm’s distance this time, and wisely so. The facts in the case are already turning against them. Pushing a phony narrative just isn’t the sure thing it was before anyone heard of Mike Nifong.

This summer? It won’t end there. Obama losing reelection in this hyper-partisan, hyper-racial environment will mean there will be riots through and beyond the Inaugural of the 45th President.

      JackRussellTerrierist in reply to McCoy2k. | March 31, 2012 at 3:39 am

So, let them riot. Protect yourself and your loved ones. That’s what the Second Amendment is for. Buy lots of ammo.

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Rick. | March 31, 2012 at 3:49 am

If obathrud thinks race riots this summer will help him win in November, he’s more delusional than we realized.

I think his mental stability is in question. Rolling the dice by encouraging blacks to riot is the act of a truly desperate man. He’ll go over the edge when it backfires on him. But…..this is the thinking of a Community Organizer – rabble rouse, exhort racial strife and hegemony from the oval office. “We won.” Yep. Another brilliant strategy for America brought to you by the Community Organizer-in-Chief.

    Scorpio51 in reply to Rick. | March 31, 2012 at 4:32 pm

I think we can take that to the bank.

sablegsd in reply to Rick. | March 31, 2012 at 8:53 pm

“Spontaneous”, simultaneous riots in every major city.
OWS and flash mobs were/are trial runs.
Then comrade downgrade will be “forced” to declare martial law. There will not be an election.

Mr. O’Donnell, will you ask Trayvon Martin’s family who is paying THEIR lawyers? If not, why not.

I’m waiting.

As CNN’s Wolf Blitzer would have said (when Bush was President) …

Current TV ends their relationship with Keith Olbermann … how is this bad for the President ?

BannedbytheGuardian | March 30, 2012 at 9:44 pm

By the time Obama went on summer holidays to Martha’s Vineyard he was down & out. Even Michelle had deserted him for several weeks to go to a fat farm.

As whispered before – it is Michelle & Jarret that have to pummel him into combat when he gets despondent. During the campaign in NC he did not want to go to an evening campaign event -Jarret & MO rounded him up & said ‘ You want to win don’t you?”

At MV Jarret took him sulking up a long unsealed private road that led to the boss of MSNBC for a visit on a Sunday morning.

No doubt this boss promised that MSNBC would aggressively not just be an election promoter but that it would validate him at every turn.

On return he had his anti depressants working & his advisors crafted The American Jobs Bill. A sure lunatic bill but a boost sort of like Prednisolone .

Since then it has been MSNBC hit after MSNBC hit out against any dangers to Obama.

With Trayvon they have succeeded beyong their wildest intentions. But they are in unchatered territory now.

Never have I seen this anywhere in any land. I don’t know what is next. They have let no retreat.

They’re looking for the Arab spring, but what they are going to get is the American people turning so hard and so fast away from this President that he will be lucky to leave office without his own sycophants trying to kill him.

I used to watch MSNBC very regularly, that is until 2008.

The entire channel has gotten deranged, it is pure trash. Its not a “news” channel, it is just an arm of the deranged left.

Once upon a time, I liked O’Donnell.

I thought he was one of the more even handed voices in the media.

And then I saw him go stark raving mad when interviewing one of the Swift Boat veterans. Spittle was almost literally flung from his lips as he screamed at a decorated veteran for calling the traitor, John Kerry, a liar.

Tamminator in reply to creativegeek. | March 30, 2012 at 10:26 pm

How could you listen to him? He’s openly admitted that he’s a socialst, aka communist.

creativegeek in reply to Tamminator. | March 31, 2012 at 2:26 am

      Consider the timeline.

John Kerry ran against Bush in 2004…and that’s when the Swift Boat Veterans were the hot topic of the day.

So it’s been about 8 years since I thought O’Donnell was sane. To my knowledge, he didn’t profess his communist tendencies until it came en vogue.

Olbermann Without A Sense of Humor” Now The Face of MSNBC

Ahh yes, feel better now..

I can’t imagine that a renewed OWS along with a repeat of the summer of ’69 would bode well for Obama’s reelection.

Tamminator in reply to janitor. | March 30, 2012 at 11:18 pm

But they are too stupid to realize that.
    Bring it, OWS.

America is tired of this bullshit.
And they will vote to stop it.

I’ve been hearing this silly meme from the agitators about perhaps Trayvon, having noticed that he is being followed by an armed man, considers the new FLA stand-your-ground law, and comes to the conclusion that he can legally ‘defend’ himself against said armed man by attacking said ARMED man with his fists.

Okay.

This is wrong on so many levels it boggles the imagination. Where do they come up with this crap?

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to quiznilo. | March 31, 2012 at 3:56 am

They’re desperate now because the case is turning against them. They are now well into the sleight-of-hand attempts to say black is white, 1+1=3, the sun rises in the west, etc., to try to convince people this was a white-on-black racial assault of a sweet, young boy.

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to quiznilo. | March 31, 2012 at 4:26 am

How’s this for a counter-meme: Trayvon was so pissed about being suspended (and maybe getting an ass-chewing from his dad whom he was sent to stay with), that he decided to vent his anger by capitalizing on an opportunity to give a beatdown to a lone hispanic who was following him with the plan of claiming self-defense because the guy followed him and attacked him?

I wonder if Obama and ODonnell have gotten their instructions from Vladimir Putin on this. Racial strife and social upheaval are in the Communist playbook however, so maybe Vlad can trust them to act somewhat independently which eliminates the danger of open microphones.

BannedbytheGuardian in reply to arnonerik. | March 31, 2012 at 12:06 am

No Not all roads lead to Moscow as Napoleon & Adolf found.

Vladimir Putin is smart like an Arctic Fox but America can only be brought down by itself.

The Russians predicted the USA would fall by 2010. There has been lots of tri age & bandages but they were not that wrong. If you look at it America did lose it in 2010.

2010 found a conservative resurgence but the Congress has not been able to stem the flow. The senate has become too powerful for the little 2 year guys in the House. And now the Executive is stronger than the House also. Now everything is the T Party ‘s fault even the Credit downgrading!

The world wide educational testing has shown a steady decline in American school kids maths science & English over the last 20 years. This has got to be contributing to the wider population’s inability to grasp the situation.

I grant you America still rules the social world but the political analyses skills of young aMericans are dismal . Compere the quick wit & universal comprehension by the Taiwanese animators. Leaves SOUTH PARK FOR DEAD.

1. A longer version of that video, almost fifteen minutes, is here. I’m not a mental health professional but I agree with Bill: O’Donnell seems pathological. It’s even more evident in the long video than in the truncated one. If around him, I would be assessing how to protect myself or how to leave (which Zimmerman’s attorney did).

2. Although he is sympathetic to Trayvon Martin’s family, Charles Blow comes across as a voice of reason.

I’m seeing an eerie repeat of the buildup to the ol’ Rodney King riots: the media creating the good-guys and bad-buys; the snapping back when they’re caught doing it; the expectation that “the people might do something drastic (hint, hint!).”

Anyone here ever read Dante’s “Divine Comedy”? There’s a level in the Inferno reserved for the sowers of discord – the people who just like to watch others pummel and destroy each other.

It’s always struck me as interesting that journalists say, “I’m working on a story.”

A story. Perfect description.

Tamminator in reply to RKae. | March 31, 2012 at 1:14 am

The media love to sit and watch the minions kill each other.
Like the Romans enjoyed the Christians devoured by lions.

it has become a running joke in our household that, whenever some thug perpetrates some horrendous crime, some family members will, inevitably, get their faces on camera to attest that their criminal relative “be a good boy”. they allege to be completely unaware of his criminal history and his collection of automatic weapons but are anxious to relate his fondness for puppies and cotton candy. i would put more stock in the martin family’s account of the teen’s personal qualities if this were not such a cliche defense.

Right on point regarding MSNBC and its program hosts, O’Donnell and Sharpton, but don’t forget to point out CNN’s fine contribution to this media lynching, earnest rabble rousers like Soledad O’Brien who was in fine form tonight on CNN.

I wonder if MSNBC and its cohorts, like CNN, will be televising the public execution of the person towards whom this targeted media hate has been directed? Well, will that be a public hanging, a firing squad, or perhaps they’ll resurrect “Old Sparky?”

Lastly, the memories of those days of rage back in 1968 certainly seem to be causing expectations of something bad happening down in Charlotte or perhaps Tampa later this year but what about the other terrible aspects of that miserable year? Do these merchants of hate realize what they are fomenting, the high level of heat making a bad situation almost unbearable?

Given the massive irrational levels of hate spouting across the airwaves now, MSNBC, CNN, and others, it doesn’t seem to be unreasonable to expect massive civil disorders this year and who shall profit from that? Or, is that the master plan after all, what our “elites” expect?

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Doug Wright. | March 31, 2012 at 4:13 am

There are only two things I fear in connection with all this: 1). That the special prosecutor will cave to political pressure, thereby sacrificing George Zimmerman at the altar of political correctness; 2). That Holder will use his power and bully pulpit to distort any rioting and prosecute only whites who attempt to defend themselves or quell the onslaught. There is plenty of evidence to suspect that Holder would indeed use the power of his office to retaliate against whites in the event of organized black-on-white confrontations, thereby sacrificing even more whites in the name of Black Power.

Trayvon Martin covered by stand your ground law? Huh? Is he being charged with something?

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to edgeofthesandbox. | March 31, 2012 at 4:06 am

Uh, no. Trayvon’s dead. The poster was speculating that maybe Trayvon went after Zimmerman because he thought he could under the Stand Your Ground law.

Personally, I doubt that any 17 yr. old “youth” who is in the 10 day-suspension echelon of kids is likely to have ever even heard of the SYG law or even know what a “law” really is.

I suspect he was debriefed. If you recall, school officials confiscated a bag of woman’s jewelery and a screwdriver from his bag. He had several tattoos and tough boy twitter account. Stand Your Ground is probably something that he and his friends talked about.

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to edgeofthesandbox. | March 31, 2012 at 4:21 am

Correction: The poster was commenting on the silly suggestion that Trayvon was operating under the SYG law, or thought he could under the circumstances of being followed.

This is all orchestrated prelude to a long, hot summer that will – if cards are carefully played – provide an opportunity for our beloved gummint to come up with an excuse to do something dramatic and “save the day”, thus ensuring the peoples’ gratitude and “Fo mo years”.

Professor Jacobson says: “Who ever thought we would long for the days of Keith Olbermann.”

Nobody.

O’Donnell: WMD

Inciting people’s fears and racial prejudice to invoke segregation and hatred (ala Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Lawrence O’Donnell, Spike Lee, Obama, MSNBC et all) is completely at odds with MLK’s life purpose. It is more in line with the lynch mob known as Eric Holders’ DOJ division of Black Panthers.

Where are the BSRMs other than C.L. Bryant?

to avoid the horrible riots that WILL occur after Obama is soundly defeated this November the administration is deflecting the blame by stoking the fire of racism. If “white” America doesn’t take the bait OWS will step in and provide the needed violence for Purple Lips to enact “posse comitatus” and suspend the November elections, essentially kicking the can down the road to stall for time. America, first off…keep a camera handy. secondly, don’t take the bait. thirdly, buy a gun and keep your ammo safe.

Uncle Samuel | March 31, 2012 at 7:59 am

The mortician says Trayvon’s hands and knuckles had no bruises or lacerations as though he was in a fight.

Is it possible to deck someone, breaking their nose, then jump on them grab their head beat it on a sidewalk without damaging your hands?

I sure hope there are photos of Zimmerman before the paramedics and/or hospital cleaned him up.

This case is being tried in the media and by the black street….like OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson…but this one is uglier.

“A lawyer representing an accused has no obligation to present defense evidence on television. O’Donnell knows that …”

Knowing and caring are two different things. After the carnage of this week’s Obama hearings, maybe they’re still a bit shell shocked. Hard to believe the Democrats couldn’t have put forth a better defense than the pratfalling performance of Obama’s Solicitor General. Verrilli did everything but slip on a banana peel out there. NBC has been BREITBARTED – exposed for selectively editing Zimmerman’s 911 call to feed racist storyline – http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-TV/2012/03/30/NBC-Deceptively-Edits-Zimmerman-911-Call

Midwest Rhino | March 31, 2012 at 11:02 am

O’Reilly seems to get one thing wrong, when he claims the SYG law is clouding the issue. That has nothing to do with this case, except those that oppose that law want to use this incident as argument against it.

Zimmerman reported on his 911 call that Martin initially was wandering, “up to no good”, THEN came toward him … then turned and ran. Did Martin notice Zimmerman was on the phone, so decided not to confront at that point? It doesn’t seem Martin was just walking straight home, or Zimmerman wouldn’t have even called 911.

If Martin had just run “home”, surely there would have been no confrontation. Zimmerman only had a minute unaccounted for, he HAD been following, but after talking to 911 there is no indication he continued to follow. In response to the dispatch saying “we don’t need you to do that (follow)”, Zimmerman says OK. Was there any way he was going to try to run this kid down? He says the kid was running away from him, toward the back entrance (where his Dad’s gf lived, apparently)

So Martin must have doubled back at some point, with some intent other than going home … and even the girlfriend indicated Martin spoke first “why are you following me” (at least that was her claim, I believe after conferring with the lawyer). Zimmerman’s father says it was more aggressive “you got a ‘effin’ problem?”

But it was when Zimmerman went for his phone (according to Zimmerman) that Martin struck first. More than one witness said Martin was on top attacking, and police seemed to confirm that.

Everything I see confirms Zimmerman observing from a distance, till talking to 911. Martin initially turned toward Zimmerman, then ran (after seeing he was on the phone?). Now he approached Zimmerman a second time, after he was off the phone, and initiated the confrontation.

It seems completely implausible that Zimmerman outran this athletic kid if he was racing back to his Dad’s gf’s place. But if he’d attacked a bus driver, and after reading his aggressive tweets, and considering the witnesses observing Zimmerman being beaten … it is perfectly reasonable that Martin attacked and beat Zimmerman, and didn’t stop even when a witness observed them, and with Zimmerman screaming for help.

This is the wrong guy delivering the blows to be a Rodney King story. If further facts clarify this, it will be a blow to the integrity of major media, and to the Sharptonesque race baiters. Obama played the black empathy card, but couldn’t bring himself to condemn the New Black Panthers’ bounty, even as it made national news.

Before Obama went to the nation and claimed his son would look like Trayvon, did he know Trayvon had gold teeth and tweeted like a gang banger? Did he know about the marijuana? It was weeks after the actual death … surely the POTUS has resources to check that out before going so public? Or is it just a slip shod operation running our country?

JackRussellTerrierist in reply to Midwest Rhino. | March 31, 2012 at 6:23 pm

It all boils down to the special prosecutor’s spine. Will she cave into leftist political pressure, since there never is any counter-balancing pressure from the right and the center, all of whom clearly see this for what it really is, or will she stand HER ground and keep her integrity intact?

Will she Nifong Zimmerman, or will she at least act in her own best interest by thinking twice about Mike “Buffoon” Nifong’s fate?

I pray that the anguish and suffering of the three Duke lacrosse boys and that of their families serves a larger purpose than it already has by teaching prosecutors and public alike to take heed of constitutional protections and truth. Obviously, a lot of the media didn’t get the message.

As a side note for those who don’t know, the Duke lacrosse accuser, Crystal Mangum, is in jail awaiting trial on murder charges, her second serious offense since the Duke lacrosse boys were declared innocent by the state attorney general, inasmuch as no crime even occurred.
