“Give me your tired, your poor/Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”

Or if they are not available,

“Give me some chick who likes to have her image captured on an iPad while protesting corporate greed.”

What a pic! it looks like she was eaten by a wolf and then shit down a cliff….

Just read a quote by then gubernatorial candidate Ronald Reagan said to describe the mid-1960’s hippies:

“Act like Tarzan, look like Jane, and smell like Cheetah”

I’m (stealing) borrowing this, with a link to your blog, for use on my blog.
It’s just too good!
Thank You,
gfa

I think this woman has her sign wrong, XOM paid over $75 Billion in taxes in 2009, over $7 Billion of which went to US governmental bodies, either federal, state or local.

The reason it looks like they had a negative income tax for 2009 is because of the way GAAP requires that line to be reported, there a mash of all tax related transactions during the covered fiscal year, which includes some holdovers from the prior years, because it takes so long to figure out actual liability in any given quarter. Individual income tax liabilities to the federal government are confidential.

I wish these people would stop pretending to understand accounting just because they figured out you can get 10-K’s online.

I guess those pirate flip flops looked better in the catalogue.

Say, aren’t those the ankle bracelet things for house arrest?

Ah, yes. She’s one of us for sure.
I wonder how much she paid in income taxes in the last 10 years.
I wonder how much of my tax dollars goes to support her because of some imagined disability or unemployment “compensation”.
Get a job, then get a life.

It’s funny, and it’s easy to discount the public face of this, the Trust Fund babies playacting at being tough activists.

But don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. There are big fish behind this – and this is the horse they intend Obama to ride into re-election.

They telegraph these things – Stephen Lerner laid out the roadmap (on tape). The first target was to be JP Morgan Chase – remember? That was delayed because Glenn Beck exposed it, but it was not derailed. Michael Moore kicked it off in Wisconsin – the meme is “There’s plenty of money. They have it, it’s ours, we should take it.” Roseanne Barr, today, calling for the beheading of bankers and ‘rich people’ who won’t give up their wealth.

The plan includes encouraging students not to pay student loans and homeowners to renege on their mortgages.

All of these things are being brought to fruition. The celebrities play their part, trying to look like populists. These poor young dupes are like the timber protesters, the Pepper-Spray-Eight. They will bear the pain, the manipulators will then benefit.

Anarchy will serve as cover for Obama. They’re trying to gin up rage – the “American Spring” it’s euphemistic title. This is another stunt like sending his “Working Families Party” goons out by the busload with their pitchforks and torches.

Connect the dots. And don’t let it succeed.

“Roseanne Barr, today, calling for the beheading of bankers and ‘rich people’ who won’t give up their wealth.”

Given her net value compared to mine — she should volunteer her neck for the headsman.

Commission of fraud by authoritarian interests funded through involuntary exploitation (e.g., taxes) represents the highest form of corruption. The protestors should have joined the Tea Party in D.C.

Just make an announcement that Apple, Nike, Verizon, Panasonic, etc., are having a one-day 75% off sale at a factory outlet mall about 100 miles away and they’ll all be gone right quick.

[…] if you are a spoiled rich kid with an attitude and a handy IPad that the world “owes” you something, that doesn’t matter. You want to “do something”, and […]

Isn’t there something seriously wrong with a President who seeks to gin up rage? Pit his countrymen against each other? Foment riots? For his own aggrandizement?

Shame. There’s a reason why they use that word. It applies to them.

Shame.
