It is the liberals who are guilty of inbreeding. They have never had an original thought. It is easier to tear something down than to build it.

They’re gonna hate it when we take this country back! I can hardly wait. Maybe the next President can countrify Hail to the Chief and have it played by banjos at every event. Ha ha ha.

Off-topic, thanks for the Video of the Day featuring Styx, what a lovely treat!

That is SO funny! A couple of years ago, my Long Island relatives (who are Jewish and liberal) raved on about listening to country music in Central Park. Being from rural Virginia, I was a bit shocked, since that is “red neck music” around here. When I asked what they liked about it, they just went on and on about how great it was, how young they felt when they were listening to it, and how “you have to keep up with what’s going on in the world” since it’s very popular since the crossover hits with Shania Twain, etc.

Maybe that explains Liberalism? If they listen to country music, perhaps that bumper sticker is saying….. Just thinking out loud….. Nah. Maybe country music is what could penetrate that brainwashed crowd.

Hmm. Music. Why not? Nothing else seems to get through. And, after all, the 4th of July is usually accompanied by country music; and Harvard says that 4th of July parades make Republicans……

Oh, well. Logic, reason, syllogisms; no matter what you try, how twist and turn it, liberal leftists still emerge intact.

There is no rest for the wicked. Happy 4th of July Professor!! All the best to you and your family this Independence Day.

As one of the 3 people in Franklin, TN who actively dislikes C&W music, I got a real laugh out of that.

Tregonsee, I wouldn’t expect you to like C&W music; Rigellians only know about sound as a scientific phenomenon, according to the First Lensman.

Reader Linda gets offended a little too easily. That was a stupid, bigoted bumper sticker, and one should not be “offended” by stupid bigots, but treat them with the contempt they deserve.

[…] Legal Insurrection, another worthy recipient of your Liberty, if you need motivation just remember, this is what they think of […]

Southerners, Christians, and Jews: liberals’ approved targets for hate and bigotry.

The car is probably owned by a Country Music fan. We tend to make fun of ourselves (i.e. Redneck Yacht Club, Redneck Woman, etc…).

Oxrock, the driver was sitting in the car when I took the picture. Age 20-25 and appearance I’d describe as New Age. Not a blue jeans and t shirt guy.

David Epstein accused of having 3-year relationship with adult daughter
Typical liberal dysfunction.

I like country music but come on: It’s sure got a higher CQ (“crap quotient”) than many other forms of pop music.

Now if you like “real” country music, roots music, you could do a lot worse than listen to … the fabulous Justin Townes Earle, everybody!

I thought Crazy was the theme song for Hilary’s 2008 campaign, at least the first part of it.

The theme song for the latter part was this for country folk (yes, Patsy again, after all Hilary said she wasn’t Tammy), or this for rockers.

Oops! I messed up the link back to Viator’s previous comment (Crazy) and can’t figure out how to edit it.

I was Franklin last weekend. That country music keeps a lot of people employed. From the looks of things it keeps a lot of people employed very well.

Last year I hiked The Appalachian Trail. I loved East Tennessee .

I wonder if that person realizes that he’s basically advocating eugenics.

What is most funny about this is that those “inbred” people are far more careful about consanguinity than the “sophisticated” people in the northeast. People in more remote, cut-off areas were downright paranoid about such things.

Apocrypha: I heard that Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt were not allowed to (whether they wanted to or not) book a single room in Hot Springs. By Arkansas law they were not allowed to be married and unmarried couples could not book a hotel room together back then.
