The 2022 midterm elections are still over a year away and a lot can happen between now and then. Democrats are already sounding the alarm to each other. Naturally, they are not talking about changing anything on a policy level. They're just concerned about their messaging.

Democrats are beginning to worry that Vice President Kamala Harris could hurt their chances to retain power in the 2022 midterm elections. This was entirely foreseeable. Harris was so unpopular in her party that she dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary before anyone voted.

Democrats know their time is limited. The 2022 midterms are fast-approaching, and Republicans are likely to recapture the House, the Senate, or both. This is why Democrats are trying to cram as much as possible into every bill on the table. Their massive budget bill even includes amnesty for illegals.
