Megyn Kelly Tag

Former FOX News host Megyn Kelly recently revealed on her podcast that she has pulled two of her children out of their private New York City school over what she sees as political propaganda. She even says she is leaving the city. The document she describes, and claims was circulated to parents and school staff, is the same sort of social justice rhetoric we regularly document in higher education.

Megyn Kelly released on YouTube a 42-minute interview with Tara Reade, who has accused Joe Biden of sexual assault in 1993. While Team Biden has gone after Reade for inconsistencies in her story over time, there also have been corroborating witnesses and documents that show she told others about the assault, or at least problems with Biden, at the time and in the early years after that.

Megyn Kelly issued an apology on her show this week after defending the idea of a white person wearing blackface as part of a Halloween costume. Liberals never fully accepted Kelly based on her past work at FOX News. Now her future at NBC is looking bleak. NBC ran a rerun of an episode this morning and a spokesperson said that her show "Megyn Kelly Today will be on tape the rest of the week."

Megyn Kelly's daytime talk show is not doing well. At all. We've covered some of the train wreck here. In what looks like a sad attempt to give her ratings a desperately needed bump, Kelly used the beginning of Monday's show to claim she complained about now former Fox News host, Bill O'Reilly's behavior while both were still employed by the network. O'Reilly was fired months ago over sexual harassment allegations.

Once a rising star at Fox News, Megyn Kelly transferred over to NBC and hosts Megyn Kelly Today, which airs in the third hour of the Today show. However, it has placed her out of her element and the ratings continue to fall. Popular host Hoda Kotb appeared on the show on Thursday, when an impromptu dance party happened. It is one of the most awkward 22 seconds you will ever see.

Earlier today, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly announced she'd be parting ways with the cable news network and heading over to NBC News. Kelly's departure will leave a gaping hole in Fox's prime-time lineup. We’re just speculating here but we’ve picked potential replacements from the Fox News stable of the well-known faces, including news types and ideologues, and one total outsider, Jake Tapper. So, dear reader, we want to hear from you. Who do you think should replace Megyn Kelly?

NBC News has released a statement confirming that Fox News superstar Megyn Kelly will join its news organization:
Kelly will become anchor of a new one hour daytime program that she will develop closely with NBC News colleagues. The show will air Monday through Friday at a time to be announced in the coming months. As part of the multi-year agreement, Kelly will also anchor a new Sunday evening news magazine show and will become an important contributor to NBC’s breaking news coverage as well as the network’s political and special events coverage.

Newt Gingrich appeared on the Kelly File Tuesday night and fireworks flew. Things started out fine with Gingrich offering his assessment of the presidential race but went downhill quickly when Kelly started bringing up Trump's negatives. Like many Americans, Newt has clearly tired of Trump bashing in media. Mediaite has more details:
Newt Gingrich Lost It and Blew Up at Megyn Kelly: ‘You Are Fascinated with Sex!’ Gingrich started to get a little snippy and said we all should just go home if she thinks the election’s over. He insisted that the odds “are pretty good” that Clinton doesn’t win.
