The Obama administration is weighing the release of blind Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman — the spiritual adviser to the 1993 World Trade Center bombers — in a stunning goodwill gesture toward Egypt that has touched off a political firestorm, officials said yesterday.

The Egyptian government “asked for his release,” an administration source told The Post — and Rep. Peter King (R-LI) confirmed the request is being considered.

Under this Administration, the U.S. tries to give a red light to Israel stop it from protecting itself against potential nuclear attacks by Iran, but conveys no red lines to Iran, that it cannot cross in its development of nuclear weapons. Tim Wolfe, Schakowsky’s opponent in the Ninth Congressional District, believes that America needs to stand up for its principles, its allies and our personnel who are in harm’s way.

SCHAKOWSKY GETS FOREIGN POLICY ADVICE FROM A FELON

Robert Creamer is best known for his conviction on bank fraud for a series of check-kiting schemes that caused bank shortfalls of at least $2.3 million. It is thus deeply ironic that he invokes trust in his discussion of Mitt Romney’s supposed foreign policy limitations (published in the progressive blog, Huffington Post, which conveniently omits Creamer’s criminal record).

Although Creamer argues that Romney lacks “guiding principles”, no one is likely to “trust” Creamer’s judgment except, perhaps, his wife, who happens to be Representative Jan Schakowsky. Since she was on the non-profit board when his crimes occurred (and signed the IRS tax filings jointly with her husband), she may be the only public official inclined to take his recommendations seriously!

Tim Wolfe, Schakowsky’s opponent in the Ninth Congressional District, trusts Romney more than Creamer OR Schakowsky, and recommends that you do the same.

I don’t know if you have seen anything regarding this one little part of the Mother Jones video no one seems to want to talk about: Romney’s laser-like focus on the nation’s outrageous debt and the role of the Federal Reserve in this mess.

Romney: [The] former head of Goldman Sachs, John Whitehead, was also the former head of the New York Federal Reserve. And I met with him, and he said as soon as the Fed stops buying all the debt that we’re issuing—which they’ve been doing, the Fed’s buying like three-quarters of the debt that America issues. He said, once that’s over, he said we’re going to have a failed Treasury auction, interest rates are going to have to go up. We’re living in this borrowed fantasy world, where the government keeps on borrowing money. You know, we borrow this extra trillion a year, we wonder who’s loaning us the trillion? The Chinese aren’t loaning us anymore. The Russians aren’t loaning it to us anymore. So who’s giving us the trillion? And the answer is we’re just making it up. The Federal Reserve is just taking it and saying, “Here, we’re giving it.” It’s just made up money, and this does not augur well for our economic future. You know, some of these things are complex enough it’s not easy for people to understand, but your point of saying, bankruptcy usually concentrates the mind.

Romney knows the biggest enemy of the welfare state is M-A-T-H. The One just pretends MATH doesn’t exist.

Biden said, “Osama is dead and GM is alive!” The DNC in Charlotte, NC, did a lot of “spiking the football” about killing the hero of the Islamic radicals rioting in front of the consulate in Libya and in front of our embassy in Cairo.

Weren’t there signs at the riots saying, “This is revenge for killing Osama Bin Laden!”? I think so. He was their hero, their inspiration – and Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Hussein Obama KILLED HIM! A hero of the Religion of Peace! His actions do not comport with his words.

Hasn’t Obama authorized the military to cooperate with Hollywood in making a film about the killing of OBL? Won’t that do a lot more to spark riots across the Middle East and the Muslim world in general than an obscure 12-minute unwatched Internet movie trailer?
