Just one more unnerving thing about Obama. I noticed in the Israeli documentary his wedding ring was not traditional.
The fact he was married by Wright is obnoxious. But the ring that he chooses to symbolize his commitment and relationship is obviously vastly different from the norm. Maybe it’s some legitimate xenophobia. I don’t know much about Indonesian culture and that’s unnerving. But you can’t get any more personal than marriage. I feel pretty uncomfortable bringing it up. It’s the fact he chooses to symbolize that personal act of marriage with and Indonesian ring. I get that he doesn’t respect the sanctity of traditional marriage.. But Really?? The guy has a fat diamond in his traditionally designed Indonesian wedding ring.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just about appealing to that liberal multicultural ego.
