Was hilldawg hacked again? No idea of the validity of the claim although it was posted on 1/11/17.
Hacker Breaks Into Clinton Foundation Server, Finds Millions in Fraud
We’ve been awaiting the highly anticipated Wikileaks announcement for about a week now, but we know that Julian Assange delayed the release of the supposed bombshell files on Hillary Clinton. Apparently that’s too long for another hacker to wait.
Infamous hacker, named Guccifer 2.0 hacked his way into the Clinton Foundation databases and uncovered some of the most damning evidence to date of the Clinton corruption. Here’s his message below and he got impatient and did some digging himself.
“Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it. So, this is the moment. I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and donors’ databases.”

It isn’t just for the Left.
One of the most vital, but technical, items on the Republican agenda is not likely to get its fair share of public attention. On the first day of the new Congress, Republican Representative Bob Goodlatte of Virginia introduced two pieces of legislation that could fundamentally alter the structure of American administrative law for years to come.
The first bill, H.R. 26, the Regulations From the Executive In Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act, languished in three previous successive Congresses, but it has now cleared the House by a vote of 237-187. If enacted, this bill will give Congress a final say on regulations with an estimated cost over $100 million through a mandatory up-or-down vote before they go into effect. More importantly for the day-to-day operation of administrative law is Goodlatte’s other bill, H.R. 5, the Regulatory Accountability Act, which the congressman claims will “wipe out abusive regulation—freeing Americans to innovate and prosper once more.”
Wow! THAT would be MORE revolutionary than ANYTHING Der Donald has proposed.
Don’t mind me, I’m trying to figure out why I can’t code italics, bold, etc., at LI when I can at other sites. Lemme know if I’m using wrong brackets or something….
Are you serious?
Heh…!!! Jewish leaders are backing Kwazy Keith Ellison for DNC Chairwassis. Why? Because they are idiots! Useful or not…
President-elect Donald Trump revealed in an interview with The Washington Post that he’s almost finished with a plan to replace ObamaCare and vowed to have “insurance for everybody.”
Trump declined to reveal the pertinent details of the new healthcare plan, but told The Post in the interview published Sunday night that drug companies will be forced to negotiate on Medicare and Medicaid prices. He also plans to fight pharmaceutical companies over drug prices.
The president-elect insisted that his plan for replacing the Affordable Healthcare Act is all but finished, and added that care would have “lower numbers, much lower deductibles.” He went as far to say that he’s ready to reveal it alongside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan.
“It’s very much formulated down to the final strokes. We haven’t put it in quite yet but we’re going to be doing it soon,” Trump said during the interview with the paper.
Trump insists that the new law will be better despite worries from Congress and the possibility of putting 20 million Americans at risk of losing their health coverage.
“We’re going to have insurance for everybody. There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”
Yep. That’s fascist economics, all right. BIG, and BIGGER government.
“Insurance for everybody is a lie”. That isn’t insurance.
Way to go, dupes.
Regarding YouTube yanking your videos and terminating your account, your latest update says: “I spent much of today downloading over 200 videos from our recently restored YouTube channel, and uploading them to another service for safekeeping, . . . “Is the other service one that is accessible to the public and if so, what is the link?”
President Barack Obama, in his farewell address, struggled clumsily toward that as he shared his concerns that too much Fox News and too many fever-dream Facebook memes are undermining our “common baseline of fact.” He is a lawyer and a politician and, in spite of his reputation, not an especially thoughtful man, so it is unsurprising that he could not quite put his finger on what he was trying to say. Have no fear: It was his last address as president, but I would bet a testicle that he’ll average more speeches per annum in retirement than he did even as a logorrheic president of these United States. If President Obama does not understand why our institutions and the common ground they once represented are in a shambles, he need not look very far for an explanation: He is a man of the Left, and the Left corrupts every institution it touches: the news media, the educational and academic institutions, the cultural institutions, professional organizations, government bureaucracies, everything from National Geographic to the English department at the University of Texas.

The RIGHT ANGLE boys discuss just how easily ObamaDoggle can…and should…be replaced.
Pay particular attention to the points made about how free markets work…so surpassingly well…whenever you let them, and how simple letting them work really is.
This story appearing in The Washington Post is very odd.
The U.S. Army general who heads the D.C. National Guard and is an integral part of overseeing the inauguration said Friday he has been ordered removed from command effective Jan. 20, 12:01 p.m., just as Donald Trump is sworn in as president.
Maj. Gen. Erroll R. Schwartz was as surprised as anyone.
Huh. I wonder what’s behind that…???
Funniest thing I’ve seen all week.
The Dept of (racial)Justice says that Chicago’s PD exhibits a pattern of excessive force.
Wow! I bet nobody saw THAT one coming…
According to wikipedia, slightly over 50% of the police force is non-white.
Under the current administration and the MSM, black police are not black people. So if they die trying to save other blacks, it isn’t a problem — just follow Black Lives Martter’s chanting and marches and riots..
Wilbur Ross, Sec of Commerce nominee, calls for industrial policy.
Outright, full-tilt, no blushing.
Interesting incident from several points of view. Andrew might find that worth a follow-up.
I’m going to leave this to Professor Jacobson or other LI poster as they might know more about the validity of the site than I ever would, if he finds it interesting.
US intel sources warn Israel against sharing secrets with Trump administration
Israeli intelligence officials fear that top-secret information that has been exposed to the United States will be leaked to Russia—and from Russia to its close ally, Iran.
These fears, which began upon Trump’s election, grew stronger following a meeting held recently between Israeli and American intelligence officials (the date of the meeting is not mentioned to protect the sources of the report).
During the meeting, according to the Israelis who participated in it, their American colleagues voiced despair over Trump’s election, as he often lashes out at the American intelligence community.
The American officials also told the Israelis that the National Security Agency (NSA) had “highly credible information” that Russia’s intelligence agencies, the FSB and GRU, were responsible for hacking the Democratic Party (DNC) servers during the elections and leaking sensitive information to WikiLeaks, which hurt Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The American officials further added that they believed Russia President Vladimir Putin had “leverages of pressure” over Trump – but did not elaborate. They were apparently referring to what was published Wednesday about embarrassing information collected by the Russian intelligence in a bid to blackmail the president-elect.
Obama reportedly to scrap ‘wet foot, dry foot’ policy for Cuban refugees
Big deal here in South Florida.
The evil clocksucker did it
The basic progressive thesis is that government programs run by massive bureaucracies can improve people’s lives. The emerging thesis of Trumpism seems to be that government action can improve the life of the nation as a whole.
But this is nothing new. Woodrow Wilson, the founding father of American progressivism, espoused the same justification for the creation of the administrative state. Wilson believed that the limits on government power baked into the Constitution no longer applied to the modern era, when government must solve complex problems for the good of the nation by doing “whatever experience permits or the times demand.”
Our massive federal government is an instrument of progressivism, pure and simple. Conservatives under Trump might be losing their skepticism of it out of a desire to harness the powers of the administrative state. But like Sauron’s One Ring, it serves only one master.
Yep. My only gripe with this piece is that he uses “conservative” incorrectly. T-rump supporters are ANTI-conservative.
Good, and about time. This needs to happen in every state.
The reason it’s attractive to build cars in Mexico is NOT what you think.
Gotta love this Hannan guy.
Unless you are too stupid to know what “globalism” really means…
I’m very much ashamed that “It’s different when we do it” applies to T-rumpians as well as the Collective.
Two excellent videos on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, one by Melanie Phillips who some will recognize as a BREXIT backer.
He lost because he’d been a good conservative in a state where crony ag interests didn’t care for that.
Barracula as LBJ, but without the savvy. Interesting.
Trumpism Explained. Once you get past the Newtisms it’s really interesting.
“You have to get it in your head. The current system is broken. It is obsolete, so don’t try to fix it. Try to replace it. Trumpism also means they use modern technology. Trump has 25 million people on Twitter and Facebook. His great realization, which occurred around October of 2015, you can actually reach all these people for free. He decides on Tuesday, let’s do a rally in Tampa. They email, and Tweet, and Facebook, everybody in Florida that’s in their list, and says, hi, I’m going to be in Tampa on Friday at 5 o’clock, and 20,000 people show up.
The other candidates are all buying TV ads. He’s showing up at a mass rally, which is covered live on television. He then has 20,000 people with smartphones who take his picture. They all send it out on Facebook and Instagram. If you figure 40 people per person, a 20,000 person rally, is an 800,000 person system, about twice the size of MSNBC. For free. There’s no exchange rate you can create that makes sense. It’s like trying to compare Polish cavalry and the Wehrmacht in 1939. These are totally different exchange rates.
Trump also understands that you have to be on permanent offense. If you look at the Wehrmacht, the Army of Northern Virginia, and the Israeli Army, they all have the same doctrine. If you are surprised, one third of your forces go into defense, two thirds go on counterattack. You never give up the initiative. That’s Trump. Trump’s core model is, you hit me, I hit back, and I hit harder than you hit. He learned it in the New York media when he was a business man. He’s on permanent offense. He gets up in the morning figuring out, how am I going to stay on offense? He understands that the media has to chase rabbits, so he gives them rabbits to chase, because if he doesn’t give them rabbits to chase, they’ll invent a rabbit.”
From the annals of “fake news”…
**Newsrooms chase blindly after Trump’s tweets, and reporters are left simply parroting whatever the New York businessman says. Considering the incoming president’s penchant for falsehoods, exaggerations, untruths and flat-out lies, this simply won’t do.
The latest example of an unfortunate media misstep involves newsrooms moving too quickly to repeat Trump’s boast that he was involved in Sprint’s decision to add 5,000 new jobs in the United States.
“So we just had some very good news,” Trump told reporters Wednesday. “Because of what’s happening, and the spirit and the hope, I was just called by the head people at Sprint, and they are going to be bringing 5,000 jobs back to the United States.”
“They have taken them from other countries. They are bringing them back to the United States,” he added.
The problem with Trump’s post-election boast is that Sprint’s plan to create these thousands of new jobs has been in the works since at least April 2015, two months before the president-elect even launched his campaign.**
I’d like to think this is fake news. I really would. But it’s Seattle.
Seattle voters ensured the city would be the first in the country with democracy vouchers when they approved Initiative 122 in 2015. The “Honest Elections” measure authorized a 10-year, $30 million property-tax levy to pay for the program.
People not registered to vote can obtain vouchers as long as they live in Seattle, are at least 18 years old and are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or green-card holder. The voucher-program application for nonvoters is available in 15 languages.
Daniel Hannan is the anti-Trump…a free-market BREXIT guy who understands economics and liberty.
Wisconsin John Doe probe will never be over for furious Democrats.
Multiple courts have ordered the probe shut down, and in October the U.S. Supreme Court made quick work of rejecting a petition for review by Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, the Democrat who launched the politically motivated probe in August 2012.
But the John Doe case is never over in the minds of liberals like Assembly Minority Leader Peter Barca, D-Kenosha, who can’t let go of a burning disdain of Walker or the pounding the Republican governor and his fellow conservatives have given the left over the past six years.
Last week, WisPolitics.com reported that Dems are criticizing calls by Republicans to investigate the leak of “John Doe II documents” in September to liberal British newspaper The Guardian while passing over conservative activist Eric O’Keefe for disclosing details of the probe.
Chisholm and his assistants also are furious that documents showing the partisan nature of the investigation were obtained and published by Wisconsin Watchdog and the Wall Street Journal.
When is that going to end? When is Chisholm going to be sued and charged criminally?
The term “fake news”, as I’ve pointed out, is nearly useless as things now stand.
Megan points out ANOTHER set of problems…
Trump began his public life as a creature of the tabloid press in New York and is now a creature of social media. He was an incompetent casino operator and hotelier, but he understands publicity and has a genuine gift for it — without that, he’d just be another Fifth Avenue doofus who inherited a $200 million real-estate portfolio from his dad. There will be a day or two of headlines with the words “Trump,” “deal,” “Indiana,” and “jobs,” and that suits Trump. The emptiness of the deal will be documented and lamented by the 0.4 percent of Americans who follow these things closely. The Carrier bailout is awful, of course. It is a case of two politicians’ using public funds to bribe a business into doing things that benefit them personally and politically while creating no real long-term economic value. Pence, who dropped his free-market principles like the world’s hottest potato once he got within sniffing distance of presidential power, can burnish his populist credentials at the taxpayers’ expense, and Trump can get ready to flit on to the next publicity stunt.
Yep. It’s all kabuki with Der Donald. Except when it isn’t, like the T-rumpulous New Deal, and a 10% tax hike for every consumer in America by executive order, as he’s threatened.
Thomas Sowell is one of the great minds of our time, and himself a “great communicator” and explorer on several fronts of the human experience.
He’s saying goodby to writing a regular column, and that will be a loss for all conservatives.
If you’ve ever served on a jury trial before, you understand the almost immediate yet very temporary bond that ties 12 strangers together who are randomly chosen from each of their private lives to fulfill a solemn public purpose.
As our deliberations came to a close, it appeared we might have a hung jury.
That’s when Tillerson began to speak. Humbly, delicately and without an ounce of condescension toward those who disagreed, he began walking us all through the details of the case. I even recall being moved by his thorough explanation about the nature of doubt and the standards set forth by our justice system.
With great patience, this man who strikes multibillion-dollar deals with foreign heads of state brought our scrappy jury together — to bring a sexual predator to justice and to deliver justice for a scared and deeply wounded little girl.
I didn’t vote for Trump. This is not an endorsement of Tillerson for secretary of state. I’m sure that the coming days and weeks will be filled with speculation and political discussion over this clearly controversial pick. I certainly appreciate those concerns and the process that ensures significant scrutiny for this important position.
But during a recent news show, I heard the term “corrupt” applied to this man who I spent five days with back in 2007.
All I know is that this man who holds one of the most powerful positions in the world and clearly has the means and ability to side-step his jury responsibilities, served as a normal citizen without complaint or pretense.
I’ll take this woman on my side over obama anyday.
Captain Or Ben-Yehuda of the Israeli Defense Forces has cemented a legacy that will endure well past her lifetime. The young, decorated IDF Captain was in charge of a company of soldiers when they were violently attacked by nearly two dozen terrorists near the Egyptian border.
Due to her leadership and bravery, she and her men were able to survive.
Despite suffering from a gunshot wound, Captain Ben-Yehuda managed to get on the radio and call for backup, administer first aid to her driver and return several magazines worth of gunfire back at her attackers.
After she recovered from her injuries, a special awards ceremony was held in which a surprise guest showed up, Captain Ben-Yehuda’s mother. A decorated IDF soldier in her own right, she presented the award to her daughter.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!
The T-rumpians have gone full FDR New Deal. Start at about 36.
Nothing political, just something fun! Guy gets rid of his old truck in one of the best ways possible.
One of the best parts comes at the end so be sure to stay tuned the whole way through!

Newsweek Writer Going After Twitter User for Allegedly Causing Seizure
December 19, 2016
On Dec. 15, after a truly contentious interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, an anonymous Twitter user tweeted at him an image of a strobe flashing at rapid speed.
According to a court filing on Monday by Eichenwald, the user — under the handle, @jew_goldstein, “sent this image with the intent of causing a seizure, as evidenced by the words Doe typed onto the strobe, ‘You deserve a seizure for your posts.’ Doe succeeded in his effort to use Twitter as a means of committing assault, causing [Eichenwald] to have a seizure which led to personal injury.”
That ALSO needs a LI write-up.
That needs a write-up on LI.
From Forbes contributor and industry expert Robert Laszewski: “To have an orderly transition, I think Republicans need to reimplement the risk corridors by February or March. That is the only chance they have. I don’t think there is a single Republican member of Congress who has thought about this. I’m reading all these quotes and they’re completely blind to the fiasco on the individual market that they’re about to create.”
PLEASE read my post (which excerpts two of Laszewski’s posts):
Yep. As I noted.
But I am a conservative. AND I think critically.
Well, seems like the Department of Energy is refusing to cooperate with Trump’s transition team on it’s questions.
Bad move DOE. Keep this up and you will soon find out the meaning of the phrase: “you don’t cross the boss!”
Just leave it vacant, and zero out its budget.
Buried on page 1,404 of the National Defense Authorization Act that passed last week is a provision that would disband the bipartisan board of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, the independent U.S. agency that includes Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Free Asia and the Middle East Broadcast Networks.
The move — pushed by House Foreign Affairs Chairman Ed Royce as a way to streamline the agency — concentrates control into a powerful CEO who is appointed by the president.
Michael Kempner, a Democratic member of the board who was appointed by President Barack Obama and was a Hillary Clinton donor. “No president, either Democrat or Republican, should have that kind of control. It’s a public jewel. Its independence is what makes it so credible.”
Want to bet that Kempner thought it was all good when he figured hilldawg was going to win? Or that it was “independent” under obama admin?
Making a degree worth less at every opportunity.
Eastern Michigan University administration provides update on Black Student 10-Point Plan
Presentation to Black Student Union provides status report, shows progress in several areas
by Geoff Larcom, Published December 09, 2016
YPSILANTI ………..President Leigh Greden provided an update on the status of efforts to implement the Black Student 10-Point Plan. Some areas of the plan have been completed, others show significant progress, while others remain under review.
#3: “A course on Black studies will be built into the curriculum of every major.”
Black student leaders are working closely with faculty administrators to explore curricular options to further this goal. There are well-understood challenges in attempting to incorporate Black studies into every major. For example, it may be difficult to incorporate Black studies into certain natural science majors, and doing so across all majors will require revisions to many courses.
I noticed that you do not have a tag for “FAKE NEWS”. Since it seems to be a hot topic now, could you start one?
However, I would limit the use to examples of fake news, with links, of course. For the 2018 election, we’ll have examples readily available to cite.
