DeVos has Final Vote on Monday After Senate Advances Her

The Senate woke up bright and early Friday morning to vote on President Donald Trump’s education secretary Betsy DeVos to advance her to a final vote on Monday.

She advanced with a 52-48 vote, but her confirmation vote will not come easy.

The Treasury Department has announced new sanctions against Iran after the regime performed a ballistic missile test earlier this week. From CNN:

The Treasury Department said it was sanctioning individuals and companies connected to Iran’s ballistic missile program and those providing support to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Qods Force.

Swedish photographer Lennart Nilsson produced magnificent photos of unborn babies for Life Magazine and the book A Child is Born, changing many minds on abortion.

Nilsson passed away at the age of 94 this week.
