First it was “targeting” congressional seats.

Then, it was opposing gay marriage.

Now, as The Other McCain reports, not publicizing one’s (alleged) bisexuality.

“I gave Ellen Page a decent chance to come out with the truth,” Topitschnig posted on V-Generations. “Two months ago, I mentioned her in my LGBT article and made it pretty...

As Althouse reports and Instapundit distills, concerning a violent protest:

…people seem to have acquired the idea that the usual rules don’t apply if you’re propelled by righteous anger against a demonized a political opponent. You’re “well-motivated” so what would otherwise be crimes become mere breaches of “decorum.”

One thing I’ve noticed while...

A followup to Professor Jacobson’s Turkey Roundup:

Hot Air reports:

According to Turkish press, as quoted by Ynet, the Turkish air force will be fitting its F-16 fighter jets with new IFF systems, which will not treat the signal from an Israeli IFF transponder as friendly, and will thus facilitate more efficient attack.  The...

First McArdle on Gardisil:

As it happens, the arguments in favor of Gardasil are pretty strong:
HPV causes most of the cervical cancer in this country.  Gardasil and Cervarix, the two approved HPV vaccines, protect against the two most common strains, which together cause about 70% of cervical cancer in this country, as...

While a perfect storm allowed Republicans to capture NY-9, possibly the most Jewish congressional district in the country, further progress in gaining Jewish support for GOP candidates will require confronting very different mechanisms than simply emphasizing support for Israel.

As best explained in the book Partisan Hearts and Minds, members of both parties  have...

You know what Jews really don’t like?

Jews for Jesus. I have a lot of Jewish friends, and they almost all go banana-sandwich over this. They don’t like the invitation to conversion. They do react as if what is being discussed is nearly a hate-crime….

But a bunch of dirty-tricksters are playing...

Constitutional amendments are oddly popular these days in Republican circles: A Federal Marriage Amendment, a Balanced Budget Amendment, and a constitutional amendment banning abortion have all been part of either congressional proposals or presidential candidate promises.

This is a mistake.  Controversial issues such gay marriage, abortion, or massive budget changes are by...

Well, kinda-sorta.

Glenn Beck was in Israel recently rallying Christian Zionists with his “Restoring Courage” tour, and while most of the discussion about his trip was the usual anti-Christian-conservative rhetoric from liberal Jews who don’t want to be associated with “those people,” Beck’s trip marked a pioneering moment towards a very different...
