Prager University Has Been So Successful That the Panicked Left is Now Trying to Copy the Model
The all new ‘Gravel Institute’ is named for Mike Gravel, a leftist Democrat who ran for president in 2008 and believes 9/11 was an inside job.

Prager U. reaches millions of people with informative videos about politics, history and culture. Their outreach has become so effective that the left is now offering a version of their own.

New Left-Wing Platform Seeks to Copy PragerU And Its Success
In an effort to counter the wildly popular PragerU, a group that posts free market, conservative videos on social media, the left-wing Gravel Institute launched today with a short video claiming that PragerU’s is “a huge stream of lies that pours into every computer in America.” Gravel vows to “beat [PragerU] at their own game” by “presenting leftist ideas and refuting right-wing lies,” the organization asserts.
Narrated by Bob’s Burgers and Archer star H. Jon Benjamin, “How to Defeat PragerU: Introducing the Gravel Institute,” was released today and outlined “a big problem on the internet.” The video focuses on PragerU specifically, which is a conservative media group that produces short videos covering political, social, and historical topics.
The Gravel Institute mentions the prolific success of the company, stating, “one out of every three Americans has seen one of their videos and 70% say that Prager’s videos changed their minds.”
While not referencing specific “lies,” The Gravel Institute believes PragerU’s success to be problematic because “it is pulling people toward the Right.”

If you paid close attention, you heard Benjamin say that the Gravel Institute is going to supposedly expose lies from Prager U. and offer a more truthful view of the subjects.
Oh and speaking of truth, you ought to know that Mike Gravel is an avid believer in the 9/11 truth movement, which espouses the theory that the attacks of September 11th were an inside job.

Gravel has spent a long time calling for a new investigation into the 9/11 attacks**,** and, less absurdly**,** condemning the war on terror. For instance, in 2008, he told Democracy Now, “90 percent of what the government does is held secret. It’s a whole cult. And that’s the thing that is really strangling our democracy, that we just don’t know what’s going on.”
In more recent years, he’s gone a lot further than that: “There’s no question in my mind that 9/11 was an inside job,” he said on Kevin Barrett’s Truth Jihad Radio in 2016. “We killed 58,000 American servicemen in the Vietnam War and all they did was die in vain. What’s so unusual about killing 3,000 more in order to develop the grist for the mill to empower into infinity the military industrial complex?”
I’m really looking forward to the Gravel Institute video about that.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I listened to Air America several times wondering how good their programming was (even though I disagreed with all of it). It wasn’t even close….too much “dead air” and people not voice trained for radio. It wasn’t awful….it was just mediocre….like NPR.
Once one side has a corner on the market, it’s difficult for others to copy it and be even mildly successful to the original behemoth. Prager has this locked up, and his team has years of experience knowing what works and what doesn’t work….the new guys have to try to learn all of this mostly from scratch.
But it’s even more difficult for the left to copy: their customers actually need to have the desire to learn these things. Are conservative learners and left learners the “same type of people”? I guess we will see. But I’m betting that many on the left already think they know it all and don’t need any arguments to “refute the lies”——based on conversations I’ve had. They mostly stop at ad hominem attacks and then go home.
I thought Big Chinese controlled left wing tech companies banned Prager for violation of speech codes.

They have already lost if their aim is to destroy Prager U. Prager U. educates, it does not attack. Prager U. works because it attempts to educate people about conservative values. Institutionalized Gravelites will be reduced to yelling and screaming “Nuh-uh!”.

When the Dems control the country their social credits scheme will require watching such drivel to qualify for a meal. Then we will grovel for Gravel. Alaska is not immune …. in fact it’s more blue than frosrbite. Two types of people move to Alaska…those coming to find something and those running away from something.
May their efforts be as successful as their attempts to copy Rush Limbaugh. In other words I’m sure they will fail.
Since modern leftism is hobbled by contradictions, I look forward to seeing them trying to grapple with this. For example, the police are racist and evil but only the police shall have guns. Or that women are suppressed in society and need special rights, but a man can become a woman simply by stating that he is.
The hypocritical contradictions of Dhimmi-crats are too numerous to count. I only offer a sampling, here:
* Black Lives “Matter” — except when those lives are taken by other black Americans (as is the case with the vast majority of black homicide victims);
* Women’s rights must be defended — except when those rights must yield to the “rights” of male “trans” narcissists;

* Organized religion is bad and dangerous — except for the supremacist, totalitarian, belligerent, misogynist and hate-filled ideology of “Submission;”
* “Minorities” must be uplifted and praised — except for Jews.
prior to 9/11 the last successful hijacking of a u.s. based carrier originating at a u.s. airport was in 1983. that’s nearly a twenty year span of time. the likelihood that 19 men of middle eastern descent, armed only with box cutters, successfully accomplished this is slim at best.
does that mean it was an “inside job”? i don’t know the answer to that. it’s better to say the u.s. government knows more than they are willing to admit and that they’re being less than forthcoming.
How typical is it, of these perpetually infantile Dhimmi-crats, that their ideas always have to be framed in the context of an attack upon anyone and any organization that dissents from Dhimmi-crat views, and, who is advocating for alternative viewpoints?
I mean, these twits could have just chosen to establish a Leftist variation of Prager U. that attempts to articulate coherent and substantive advocacy, but, instead, they’re vindictively obsessed with attacking PragerU. Which tells you, right off the bat (not that we need additional confirmation, on this score) that their ideas lack intrinsic worth, and, that those ideas can’t be defended, on the merits.
I am a avid Prager listener maybe 15 years, as much as the Leftist social media has tried to silence Prager U doesn’t shock me they would try and steal the forum.

What Prager and Hillsdale College do, is explain the formation and operation of our government. Leftist cant do that. First they have to re-write history, they reach conclusions that defy logic.
