Marines raised the flag on Iwo Jima’s Mount Suribachi. Biden is being raised on the mount of his gaffes (which is slightly taller than Mount Suribachi because there’s so many of them).
To get the famous flag raising Joe Rosenthal had to quickly snapped a photo and was lucky enough to catch the flag raising part way up. Raising Biden is in slow motion.
“While it’s sad that such a beautiful statue had to suffer like this, it does serve to point out something very clear to everyone. These rioters don’t really have or need a cause. They don’t care about black lives or equality. They’re not concerned about ending racism or even who is in office.
All they care about is destroying, burning, and bringing down the system that they live a very comfortable, hollow life in. Any claims that they’re illegally bringing down a statue for legitimate reasons should be ignored. They’re not really trying to find an excuse, they’re just trying to find a reason that makes you pause in your protest to their actions.”
How much did Branco have to cut off the bottom of that cartoon to make it fit the landscape format he normally uses? Tara Reade? #MeToo, etc. So much left on the cutting room floor.

Notably absent from the straining is the restrained Barack Obama, although I’d swear that’s a prayer rug and they all seem to be straining East.
Is that a Persian rug? After scanning the cartoon, my first thought was he should have written “Iran” on it.
